We've been coming here for years because they came so highly recommended by some friends who had a really nice stereo system in their car. They have great products and they install right there. This is nice because if there was a problem they are one stop shopping. If you go, ask for David or Josh the manager. They are very cool guys. They always remember what it's like to be a customer and when I have concerns they are cool enough to give me the low down on deals. It feels like I'm their cousin and they are giving me the inside scoop. They probably treat everyone great but I certainly felt like a vip and I only bought a simple dvd player. You know how you always hear of a Spanish speaking friend who "has a guy" for tires or for electronics, etc?...well these guys are "my guys" for a great car stereo and equipment. The location is really good too, right there on 10th Street by the police station kind of. Don't go anywhere else. I can't speak for all quality auto sounds but this place is super cool. If you go to best buy you get some geek kid who sells you some crap that best buy wants to move off the shelf. Quality auto sound in Greeley is not like that, they ask you what you're looking for and then match you with what works best. Case in point, they had much better units to sell me but they asked about my life and learned I had kids and suggested a unit that was more robust and it was. There was one minor issue and I brought it in and they taught me how to get past it without any pressure to buy a better unit or rip me off in a warranty. I come all the way from longmont to go to this place, that's how awesome Josh the manager is. Anyway the place is great, go and see for yourself. And no, I don't work there, just really really pleased with them.

Told him they couldn't find any problems and the Pioneer was locked so there was nothing they could do to fix the problem. My husband briefly got the radio to work when he got back home, called them back and they said they would try to fix it again. We were told no charge. For being a company that specializes in electronics in cars, they do NOT do a good job of wiring. This crappy wiring (along with the breathalyzer, not their fault) caused my whole starting system to be messed up. When I asked them to try and fix their mistake, I basically heard "not my problem" from the employee. When I checked the wiring for myself, it was not pretty. Just go somewhere else.

My family had Blue Chip Car Audio work on two of our cars this year…read more Our first experience with Blue Chip Car Audio was this summer when the car wash at Riverpoint tore off my wife's roof top antenna on her 2015 Nissan Rogue. Knowing the dealership would charge an insane amount to get into the headliner to replace the antenna, I called Blue Chip Car Audio in Englewood to see if was something they could help us with. Don and Aaron were very friendly, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. I was able to get the OEM part from Nissan and they did the job quickly and professionally for a very reasonable price. (see photo) Our second experience was with my son's 2008 Hyundai Accent. My son had Car Toys put in a new stereo last Christmas and was starting to notice he wasn't getting all the radio stations. Aaron found they didn't even connect the powered Antenna. Luckily, he had a spare connector needed and was able to fix it quickly all for a very reasonable price. We're so thankful to have come across Blue Chip Car Audio in Englewood and would definitely continue to do business with them in the future.

So I went by to the Absolutely Creative Customs shop a few months ago to get a quote for some…read morespeakers for my car. Joe came out and was honest about telling me that I didn't need any rear speakers in my convertible, but instead just some good solid door speakers with good audio insulation and some tweeters installed to give a full range of sound. Add an amp to get some quality sound out of my current stereo to the new speakers, and you're all set. I scheduled an appointment for a week or two later. I showed up the night before to drop it off. Joe was there, and I gave him my key. I was about to leave when he ran back out and told me that I was scheduled for the following week! Wow. I'm smart. Great. Now I feel dumb. Oh well, next week should work. Should've put it in my calendar correctly the first time! So I was going to drop it off the next week, but I was having another shop in town check out some of the mechanical stuff on my car, and I didn't want to have speakers installed if I was gonna end up needing to spend too much on engine stuff anyways, so I rescheduled again with Joe. I explained my thinking and they mentioned to me that even if they installed all the audio stuff and if I ended up wanting it taken out, they do that for free. That's pretty awesome. I didn't want them to have that hassle though, so I waited. My car was in the shop while I was on vacation, and I was supposed to have my girlfriend drop it off at Joe's after the engine work was done. I was on vacation though... and I forgot. :-/ So after messing up their schedule like three times, I finally set up a time and brought it in and they did the installation of the speakers and amp and everything was sounding really good. I tested it in the parking lot and cranked up the volume. The right speaker was cutting out when it was hitting really bass heavy notes. So I went back in and let them know. Joe dropped what he was doing, figured out what the problem was (some insulation had fallen down), and he fixed it in like 20 minutes. I was driving down the road listening to music with my new speakers for the first time, and I was like, "Oh man, so THIS is what this song was really supposed to sound like!" Seriously, the kick out of the Focal speakers is really good, and the quality and range of sounds from the tweeters makes it all so much better. If I had room for a subwoofer in my Miata, I would put one in, but honestly it's fine without it. I was really impressed that Joe and the woman that runs the office were professional and nice to me, despite me being kind-of a pain to schedule and work with.

If you're considering having keys programmed here, read this first…read more We brought in a fully functional vehicle to have new keys programmed. The technician failed to complete the programming but still charged us $80. To make things worse... When we tried to leave, the ignition would no longer turn. Prior to this visit, there were zero ignition or starting issues. The key would not rotate and the steering wheel was locked. The car arrived drivable. It left on a tow truck. The technician did not understand what had happened and offered no solution. After he failed, there was no clear explanation, no recovery plan, and no meaningful assistance. We were left standing there with a disabled vehicle. Because the wheels would not turn, the tow truck had to drag the vehicle out of the parking space. The company offered no assistance for the tow, we arranged rides, and lost two full days while the car sat at a mechanic. We were out several hours and several hundred dollars due to this failed visit. The owner, Jeremiah, changed his responses multiple times and ultimately did nothing to assist, or take responsibility for the inconvenience. No towing coverage. Nothing. If you value your time, your vehicle, and basic accountability, take this into consideration before scheduling service here. Extremely disappointing experience. ***after reading the reply... this is also a character issue, false and misleading, beware***
