I got a new (to me) 2024 Subaru that had cheap, dark, difficult to see through tint on the glass. I called Subaru locally who recommended Private Eyes very highly. Came here for window tinting on my vehicle. Business does not have many reviews online, so I was not sure on what to expect. Dropped of vehicle at 08:30 am, returned in the afternoon for pick up. Upon inspecting the new film, noticed scratches on 3 of the 5 windows, plus dry soap stains on the door trims. Manager denied the soap stains claiming that they did not use Dawn detergent. Took me to the work area, and the first thing we see is a large bottle of Dawn. Employee confirmed use of Dawn. Contacted location and was told to return for a redo. Left car at same time, returned at 3pm only to find vehicle still missing 2 windows to tint due to being left locked with fob key inside. Something very difficult, almost impossible to do. Car battery almost drained completely because of this, since they failed to notify us about being locked out of vehicle with headlights on. Made appointment for a third try since 2 windows were still not complete, and the job done to remove the soap stains, also loosened the door trims, causing the seal to break. While still waiting for 3rd appointment day, the manager went on a rant of 10 minutes over the phone, using extensive foul language and rejecting me as a costumer. I received a refund for the tint, but still had an unfinished work on vehicle, plus additional damage that will cost an additional $600 as quoted by BMW. I will submit a formal complaint with the BBB as a active duty service member. read more
