These guys are great! Not only did they come to Frederick from Loveland, but in both instances they were able to make same day appointments. They're polite, courteous, friendly, affordable and professional. Do yourself a favor - don't call Safelite - Call Platinum Auto Glass and save yourself a lot of money. If you life outside of the Loveland/Longmont area, they usually will meet customers at the American Furniture Warehouse off i25 and HWY 119 to do their repairs.

I am not looking for a refund or anything like that, I am just sharing my experience. After getting an appointment set in advance for 10 am, I was given an estimate of 3-4 hours. I ended up finally getting the car at 6 pm. 45 minutes prior to this, an employee, who I was told was "in training" pulled the car up front for a final inspection. The senior employee immediately realized the car needed extra work and set about doing it. I was given explanations that they were overbooked and that a person in training had handled the majority of the detail. The problem was, the "details" were not handled. Even after pointing out several issues and having them corrected, more problems were clear. After 8 hours, I just wanted to leave. I was offered a 5% discount and given a few apologies, which were appreciated. My main concern is that they allowed an employee in training to handle a detail with minimal oversight due to being overbooked. I will include photos of the issues and let those reading decide if the work is up to the standards that a $170 detail should require. Sadly, I do not believe I will be able to give additional business to Kool Rides despite the kind people who run the place. I will pay the premium and go to Manhattan Auto Spa.

Went through them for a breathalyzer install and removal. They are somewhat nice to talk to,…read morerespectful when you walk in so that is good. The reason for the 1 star is the work quality. For being a company that specializes in electronics in cars, they do NOT do a good job of wiring. This crappy wiring (along with the breathalyzer, not their fault) caused my whole starting system to be messed up. When I asked them to try and fix their mistake, I basically heard "not my problem" from the employee. When I checked the wiring for myself, it was not pretty. Just go somewhere else.

It's very disappointing since I love supporting small local businesses. Sad. I hope sure learners and can improve her customer service model. I'm VERY disappointed by Ander's they came highly recommend but I'm not sure why. We waited while they worked on my windshield. We heard plastic break and the tech start to cuss. I understand that things break, but they didn't mention anything to us when they said it was done. We checked the windshield before we left and pointed out that my truck was now missing the plastic weatherstrip wiper cowls on BOTH sides (like he broke one so he didn't put the other one back on in hopes we wouldn't notice). The plastic weather striping is also damaged AND missing clips so it's not held down properly. We pointed this out. We were told the tech was at lunch but they would call us when he returned... shockingly they never called us, so we called them. They said the tech claimed he never saw the cowls and they must've not been there (despite us pointing out obvious rub marks from them being present for 20 years.) They admitted that some of the clips holding the weather strip down broke which is common. They told us that we needed to take my truck to a Ford dealership to get an estimate for the parts. They said they would replace the missing cowls but they wouldn't do anything about my damaged weather stripping because it was "common" that this piece breaks (this was not mentioned before the service). 1) why would you say you'll replace the cowls if your tech didn't break them? 2) if it's common for a part to get damaged, why not keep it on hand to fix? 3) if something breaks why hide it from the customer? We're not that upset that parts were broken, we understand that things break. What pisses us off is that they tried to hide it instead of making it right. I love my truck, I should've just used Glass Doctor or Safelight. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else!
