Alex was great to work with when my rear view mirror fell off. The team was communicative, fast, and kind. 10/10

*Edited to add* after reading numerous reviews of people sharing the same experiences and seeing…read morethe owner batrate them as well instead of calling to make things right, she confirmed my conclusion that I will not return nor recommend them to anyone. It's very disappointing since I love supporting small local businesses. Sad. I hope sure learners and can improve her customer service model. I'm VERY disappointed by Ander's they came highly recommend but I'm not sure why. We waited while they worked on my windshield. We heard plastic break and the tech start to cuss. I understand that things break, but they didn't mention anything to us when they said it was done. We checked the windshield before we left and pointed out that my truck was now missing the plastic weatherstrip wiper cowls on BOTH sides (like he broke one so he didn't put the other one back on in hopes we wouldn't notice). The plastic weather striping is also damaged AND missing clips so it's not held down properly. We pointed this out. We were told the tech was at lunch but they would call us when he returned... shockingly they never called us, so we called them. They said the tech claimed he never saw the cowls and they must've not been there (despite us pointing out obvious rub marks from them being present for 20 years.) They admitted that some of the clips holding the weather strip down broke which is common. They told us that we needed to take my truck to a Ford dealership to get an estimate for the parts. They said they would replace the missing cowls but they wouldn't do anything about my damaged weather stripping because it was "common" that this piece breaks (this was not mentioned before the service). 1) why would you say you'll replace the cowls if your tech didn't break them? 2) if it's common for a part to get damaged, why not keep it on hand to fix? 3) if something breaks why hide it from the customer? We're not that upset that parts were broken, we understand that things break. What pisses us off is that they tried to hide it instead of making it right. I love my truck, I should've just used Glass Doctor or Safelight. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else!

You know the old saying that when looking for a service, you should be looking for price, quality,…read moreand speed, but you'll have to choose which two of those qualities are most important to you because one of the three will almost almost be missing. Ascent is the outlier. They were amazing. Their business popped up when I did a ChatGPT search to replace the windshield in my 2020 Toyota RAV4. My windshield is pretty high tech with camera inputs that have to be aligned perfectly so I needed a company with the equipment and skill to get that dialed in perfectly. Ascent was by far the most reasonable on price and had consistently great reviews. I figured that must mean I'd likely have to compromise on speed or quality. Not at all. They had me immediately scheduled for less than a week later and showed up at my door and had the job knocked out in no time. They also found a few drain tubes that were clogged under my cowl and blew those out for me free of charge. Tanner and Kyle are co-owners who are literally third generation windshield installers and have done this since they were young. Instead of continuing to crank out dozens of windshield replacements a day in a shop, they decided they wanted to be able to have more interactions with the customer and have the time to make sure they did the job right. Hearing more about their business I was only more sold on these guys. I personally appreciate and applaud that they've figured out how to create a small business that's efficient and still leaves them time to invest in their families. When I asked if they intended to scale, they emphatically said, "Nope!" They love being able to move at a pace that's sustainable to do the job well and take care of the customers. Can't recommend these guys highly enough.

A great experience. I had an appt. with Safelite in Fort Collins to repair a small chip. The…read moresmall chip turned into a large crack in two days which required a replacement windshield. Russell was able to get me an appt. the very next day on August 14th for a replacement windshield for my 2018 Toyota Highlander. That was impressive because they're booked solid. Geoffrey is the tech that took care of the windshield. I liked the fact he walked my wife and I through the steps of replacing the windshield and recalibrating the front radar. He even mentioned how the old glass is recycled. He also skipped his lunch to make sure we could get back on the road quickly. That is really good customer service. Mercedes at the front desk helped explain the charges and how much insurance would pay, etc. Very helpful, friendly, and informative. We had a great experience and would use Safelite in Fort Collins again. But that's only if we get another rock chip. Well done.

Save yourself the headache and disorganization of Safelite Auto Glass in Fort Collins. This company…read moreis incredibly poorly run. They don't have enough staff or enough equipment to operate efficiently. I've always used smaller glass companies for my windshield, Glass Doctor and NOVUS, and my Allstate Insurance funnels customers with claims to Safelite as a default shop. I tried to be more streamline this time and book with Safelite. The first appointment here I waited almost an hour after my appointment time for them to even bring my car in, all the while watching them take in cars that arrived after my appointment time. Once I finally complained they told me they were short staffed that day. Almost another hour later someone came out and told me the wrong windshield was ordered. A full morning off of work wasted. I was promised someone would call me back once they got the new one ordered. It took two phone calls from me to nail someone down about what was going on with the correct windshield order. I was rebooked and came in at my appointment time of 9am. Two and a half hours later they told me the windshield was done but it hadn't been calibrated. They only had one calibration machine and it was through a third party. A car that arrived well after mine was being calibrated instead of mine because my windshield took longer. If there is an order to the process, install then calibrate, then have some sort of organized assembly. It seems counter intuitive to have ONE machine to be able to do lengthy calibrations on many cars that come in, especially if there is no order to the process. I had to leave after almost 3 hours and come back in the afternoon to finish the job. The whole day wasted. During my times at Safelite I talked to two other customers who had issues, one with a windshield seal and the other with an installation mistake. Through this all I was made to feel like the difficult one. I don't normally post reviews of this nature but seriously, don't waste your time with this place.

They were supposed to come to my house to fix and never showed and when asked she said they went but no one answered the door or phone yet I was home and no missed calls. I have been using Insight Auto Glass for…read moreyears in the Evergreen, CO area for years and have done upwards of five replacements over multiple vehicles and was very satisfied however when I needed a replacement from them in Ft. Collins for my son's vehicle being used while in college, they quoted me a higher price than Safelite and when all previous replacements were cheaper than competitors. When I asked them why they were more expensive they said they use a different glass company. I was about to walk away and go to Safelite and the decided to offer me the "Repeat Customer " discount which put the price same as Safelite. I asked why they didn't offer that to begin with since I was a repeat customer and the lady advised she was having a bad day. I went with Onsight (Insight) and they dispatched a few days later to replace the windshield. My son called after and told me the sunroof and interior lights quit working so I contacted Onsight and they wanted to charge $100+ to come out and see what was wrong so I took it to an Auto shop in Ft. Collins and they went through the electrical system and after four hours of labor, found that the installer did not hook up the wiring properly after the install and it cost me $713 for the labor. Justin/Onsight declined to pay for any of the repair work. At this point, they will not get future business from our family and we will stop recommending them to our friends. Multiple Issues: They were not forthright in offering us the "Repeat Customer" discount, 2) Their Ft. Collins installer did substandard work and left our Land Rover in a partial non-working condition, 3) Justin wanted to charge us to come back out and look at the problem to see what happened, and 4) Justin declined to help with any of the costs to repair the problem turning a $550 window replacement into a $1,263 total replacement. I'm not sure if these are new owners but they have terrible "Customer Experience" values and won't be getting any of my future business or friend recommendations.
