Experience: I have never had any of my clothes altered before so I didn't really know what to expect. We walked in and no one came to help us at first. We waited a few minutes and a lady came from the back. She was not friendly and not talkative. Whenever she would talk she would whisper and I couldn't hear her at all. I got up and the measurement table and I wasn't directed at all and I didn't know what to do. She put pins around my ankle and said "okay". That was it and I asked if I could get them brought in as well and she sighed. I got two pairs of pants brought up and in, payed for them and then left. A week later I got there and the same thing happened; no one came out and we had to wait. A different lady came out and gave me my pants. I tried them on and one was okay, but not brought in enough and the other was terrible. I asked why this one was altered from the ankle to the knee but not from the thigh to the waist. They said they couldn't do that on that pair of pants but now that pair of pants is ruined. I left and won't come back. Store: The store is small and inside Ridgedale Center. It is in a convenient place. They have 2 changing rooms and that about it. It is not great looking but it was clean. Customer Service: The customer service here was bad. Both employees we talked to were quiet, non informational, and just plain unhelpful. They didn't help explain the procedure, explain anything they were going to do, and were unhelpful when the product came back poorly. Overall I would say to go somewhere else to get your pants brought in or anything of that nature. I can't say for anything else they do but I myself had a horrible experience.

The service and quality were amazing - and I can't believe how little I paid! I had two fittings with him and paid under $50 for the alterations to a three-layered silk dress. We sacrificed none of the movement or style but enhanced the fit! And his space is clean and the dressing rooms are big, which is nice.

I went to this authorized Singer repair center for a basic repair. This location sold me a new…read moremachine for $100 because it would cost $80 to ship out my broken machine for repair. Within 3 days, I learned that other Singer repair shops fix your machine while you wait (usually for $20 or less). But Creative Sewing won't take back the $100 sewing machine because I used it for one hem. In fact, it was on their poor advice that I bought the machine to begin with. This is not a trustworthy business.
