10/10 experience at this lounge at the Eau! Beautifully decorated. Service was spectacular. I was checked on every few minutes. Janay (my server) was extremely kind and helped guide me with my order. I wasn't too hungry. Stir is a lounge and has small bites so I would say if you're very hungry this may not be the spot for you. I sat in a booth in a corner which was quite cozy. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak cigar and the cauliflower. Wow wow wow! If you're visiting Stir for the first time, please do yourself a favor and order the cigar. It literally came in the shape of a cigar, inside an ashtray adorned with truffle which was made to look like the ashes. Such a unique dish and it tasted freaking AMAZING!!!! The cauliflower was yummy as well. I additionally got the cucumber mocktail. I went out into the main area where the violin players were playing. They sounded fabulous! I ordered a charcuterie board for dessert. It came with bread, berries, Brie, blue cheese and I substituted the mustard cheese for provolone as I don't like mustard. Simple lounge restaurant in the hotel. Service was somewhat slow, but very friendly. The Korean wings, unfortunately tasted like ketchup instead of Gochujang. Crab and artichoke dip was delicious. Pizza was good too. read more

Stir Bar and Terrace is the lobby bar in the Eau Palm Resort. Great cocktails, High End Liquor and excellent Staff, My Waiter and Bartender were great both days. Honey Deuce was my drink of choice night 1 which is a Grey Goose Vodka with Chambord and Lemonade- You can hardly taste Alcohol, but they Make you feel good faster. very refreshing. About $18 a pop. I Highly Recommend. Plenty of comfortable chairs, Couches and Tables for Intimate or large group gatherings.. 2nd day I had a Cheeseburger for Lunch and it was a large perfectly cooked moist patty (Medium) served on a large brioche bun with lettuce, Pickle and fries. The atmosphere is exquisite with a view of the ocean just steps away. The staff is very accommodating with rearranging the tables and umbrellas to shade us from the intense sunlight. We all enjoyed the food that was prepared and presented with care. Very relaxed and quiet area for conversation with special guests. read more

Beautiful area inside and out to have a drink. We ordered some drinks and a charcuterie board. The crackers on the side were stale so they took the board back to the kitchen and returned with a disassembled unappealing version of the original. We complained and had it removed from bill. This was not what you would expect from the Eau Palm. Since we were hungry we decided to go into the restarant which was a 5 Star experience. read more

UPDATE: This is my favorite place to eat at Eau which may sound strange considering they have a formal and beautiful place to eat (Angle) as w ell as Temple Orange and other places as well. I just love the ambiance here. It is a cocktail lounge which will also make you some of the best food you could ever imagine. All by candlelight. Stir Bar and Terrace is part of Eau Palm Beach Hotel. They offer both drinks and a full food menu. The atmosphere is upscale but but you can still dress casual. I saw many people who were just having cocktails and then again many people who were ordering dinner. And I have been here more then once. It's a five star dining experience. They also sometimes have live music. Stir is a fantastic place. I mentioned how good the food is. Their menu is quite extensive and offers so much. Among the goodies offered: Dim Sum, Lobster Mac-N-Cheese, Chicken Wings that are served three different ways, Lobster Rolls and Burgers to name a few. They also have great starters. They have Chips they bring you to start but what really got me were the utterly yummy Roasted Almonds they bring you. Bliss. The visual beauty of Stir perfectly matches the Hotel. They also sometimes, as I said, offer live entertainment but there are quiet areas to sit as well if you want privacy. It is nice to dine by candlelight. The service is top notch, the food exquisite and this is an outstanding place. Highly recommended. read more

This is the spot Friday and Saturday. Live music, fresh delicious sushi and a complimentary toast at 6pm. Inside, near the bar there are several low tables that seat four and then two lines of more intimate tables featuring high back chairs in front of crystal curtains. The bar extends into the lobby area of the hotel at night and the live music and sushi chef are located within this space. There are also plush couches located on the outdoor patio along with a beautiful fire pit. Stir is a full bar with a menu featuring crafted and signature cocktails. The drinks, although great were on the smaller size. I ordered sushi and the quality rivaled that of some of the higher end Japanese restaurants I have visited. Stir was very busy both Friday and Saturday during our stay. I couldn't tell if it was always that busy or if it just seemed crowded since a convention was going on on site that weekend. The live music appealed to our group which spanned from those in their 30's to 60's and I would say the crowd matched our age range. The late night energy was great and I would visit this bar if staying in the area again, even if not at the Eau. read more

Great food, atmosphere and service. Dined here while a guest of the EAU. They offer live music on Friday and Saturday night. Complimentary manchego cheese, roasted and almonds and roasted chickpeas. My husband actually visited this place twice while we were there and both times he devoured his mussels. I ordered and loved the Burrata pizza. We also shared the Palm sushi roll which was delicious! (Although they could have used a lower sodium soy sauce). Perfect for a date night in at the hotel! read more

Came here as a guest of the hotel. First, the positives--this is a lobby lounge and decor at Eau is beautiful. The inner lobby where Stir is located is filled with several sofas with chairs around coffee tables, smaller seating areas around smaller tables, and one small table for two by the fireplace. Very relaxing, elegant ambiance! As for our experience at Stir, it was less than satisfying. Stood around for a long time, and no one greeted us. We finally went to the front check-in desk to ask if there was a "protocol" for eating at Stir. We were told we could sit anywhere in the inner lobby area as all the tables by the bar were occupied. We sat at a very comfy sofa area and waited at least 10-15 minutes before finally catching a server's eye. We ordered our drinks with water, and the water was unfiltered and tasted disgusting. The hotel offers bottles of water at the front desk, so our son went back and requested some bottles of water. So much better. I enjoyed my drink (the blackberry cider) but my husband did not enjoy his beer. Not anyone's fault, but he did ask the server to compare it to another beer, and she was completely caught off guard, just said it was "light". It was actually a heavier version of Heineken, as my best description of it. As for food, we ordered the tempura shrimp app and the cucumber salad, described as "Cucumbers, carrots, scallions, peanuts, and Thai dressing". He ordered it without scallions--it came loaded with red onions which were not mentioned in the description. If someone doesn't want scallions, I would think the server would mention it comes with onions, since they are both in the family of onions but maybe that's just me. He sent it back to request one without onions but was told they are pre-mixed into the salad by a manager-type person who originally brought the salad. Also he ordered the waygu burger which came out before our app or salad--we were told it's because they come out from two different kitchens. Requested cheddar cheese but received American cheese as well as lettuce/tomato on a separate HOT plate--he was not happy that the condiments were all warmed up by the plate. Also his waygu burger was bland. No salad for him, the cheese and condiments were unsatisfactory, and the burger was bland. Not a good meal for my husband thus far. The only thing he enjoyed was the Diet Coke he ordered to replace the beer. As for my son and I, we ordered sushi and were very pleased with our meals. The filet roll was delicious, and I would order it again (if I could convince my husband to return, that is.). Our son had the California and Tempura shrimp rolls and enjoyed them very much. The server made a cursory walk by and gave us a thumbs up, but our mouths were full and we were unable to comment. She never asked how everything was, just came back at the end of our meal to clear our dishes and didn't even ask if we needed anything else. We also had to ask for silverware and for chopsticks each time the food was brought out by different people. Overall, service was severely lacking. The aforementioned salad wasn't removed from our bill, our server didn't thank us, ask about our meal or anything, especially since we made it clear we were ordering drinks we haven't had before and had inquired about different menu items before settling on our chosen items. Maybe she was overwhelmed, but food service overall at this hotel has been less than stellar when we have eaten at Ocean Breeze as well (waited a long time before anyone greeted us and food took a long time to arrive). This is our second visit to Eau as hotel guests, and the food service has been subpar both times. For a hotel of this stature and price point, we would expect much better food service. We will unlikely return as service at similarly priced resorts (The Breakers, Four Seasons) in Palm Beach offer much better service. Very disappointing. read more
