Food - amazing creative carousel for your taste buds - if you like pistachios and cheesecake you…read moreare going to love their pistachio cheesecake - The bakery is a beautifully vibed cafe that feels like a girls night out where everything clean, good and girly come to upgrade the warmth and friendliness of a donut shop but winks to Michelin star fusion status, someone who knows their stuff made this. Twenty-two years living and eating in Redlands and I have never felt so at home and fancy at the same time. I randomly popped in to their shop for a sweet lil something to go several months ago and was blown away by their strawberry shortcake dream - with the creamiest most delightful frosting I have ever tasted. This frosting is beyond amazing I wanted to buy a tub of it, but it's not for sale in tubs, only on the cupcakes. Biting into the strawberry shortcake cupcake greets your taste buds with fresh slivered strawberries tucked inside, whispering that this decadent choice is absolutely worth it. Served by friendly faces that make you feel like a regular from the first visit. "Yeah fancy but y'all is welcomed"Come sit down or grab and go - it's worth whatever you have time to invest. More than sugar is blooming at Sugar Bloom: great pastries, creativity, and lattes with a high end all should come vibe.

We tried the chocolate raspberry cupcake, and it had strawberry preserves inside, which was such a delicious surprise. Honestly, it was so good it kind of blew me away. I also ordered a cold brew and had them sweeten it for me. The coffee itself was good, but the only downside was that they charge extra for the syrup and the milk. That was a little "meh" for me because I'm not really used to paying extra for those add-ins, especially since I'm spoiled by my Panera Sip Club. One thing I absolutely loved though was the packaging. The box the cupcake came in and the little bags they had were so cute. They honestly felt gift-worthy, like you could easily grab something here and bring it to someone as a present. The service was really good and the overall vibe of the shop is adorable. They also offer tastings for weddings or events, which I thought was cool. I believe it was around $75 for two people and included a few different flavor samples. Overall, it's a really cute spot and I would definitely come back for the sweets. The cupcake alone was worth it. I'd probably skip the coffee next time just to avoid the upcharges, but still a solid four stars

One-part bakery and one-part family restaurant, this is a classic Americana restaurant. Inside can be really busy, nearly every table and booth taken, or, you might find yourself relatively alone, but that could also change with surprisingly rapidity! I don't think I've ever tried lunch or dinner options in all my infrequent visits, but breakfast reigns supreme here, so there's that. Frankly, I've never had a bad meal here. Service is casual friendly, but slow and steady by design. I've always found the servers and staff to be cheerful and happy. The bakery is another review, but they have lots to choose from across the board.

The only thing that was moderately good was the Three mound salad which I would rate as a 3.5. Everything listed below was overpriced and disappointing and I would rate at best as below average- 2 stars Steak eggs Benedict- small overcooked and reheated steak slices Tuna melt Buffalo Chicken wrap Ali skillet- small portion of overcooked egg whites with mushy hash browns under it. Served with a tiny side of flavorless puréed tomato and a choice of toast- 1 star The texture of pineapple upside down cake was rustic and unrefined, making it coarse and glutinous. Moist under the pineapple slices while the remainder was dry- 2 stars

The moment I walked in, I was surprised by how quiet and cold the atmosphere felt. It didn't feel welcoming or cozy like a bakery usually does. Instead, it felt more like walking into an office waiting room. Unfortunately, the service made the experience even worse. This was my first time visiting in person, so I had a few questions about the different cake flavors. The girl with braces seemed impatient the entire time and kept trying to rush me while I was speaking. At one point, she even exchanged a smirk with the other employee, which made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. I honestly didn't understand the attitude. In the end, I ordered the same raspberry cake because I completely lost interest in trying anything else. Ironically, this time the cake tasted way too sweet for me. I even tried eating it cold straight from the fridge to tone down the sweetness, but it was still overwhelming. Overall, the combination of the service and the cake not tasting as good as before made this visit disappointing.

I read a review about the Halo-halo not being authentic! But I came by just to try. And I'm glad I…read moredid! It was so good! I could of eaten another one . I don't understand what THAT reviewer was referring to when he referenced that it wasn't authentic. Ok? To what island? Region? And what specific eatery/restaurant? All Halo-halo is made to who ever is making it and to what ingredients they have available AND if they have a decent Ice machine for shaved ice! I loved all the ingredients they had in it! The staff were really sweet and welcoming. And I was pleasantly surprised by the decor that was festive. I also tried the "Ube cheese pandesal" . I basically ruined my dinner for that night, but it was worth it! Come and support them! I'll be going back before I leave the region

Turns out all those jaw-dropping Yelp cakes are basically VIP-only.... most are special order, so the display case was giving more "snack break" than "dessert heaven." The place is tiny, and with about 10 kids running a full-volume chaos baking convention, the vibe was less cozy bakery and more "Chuck E. Cheese but with aprons and a Kitchen Aid." Not exactly the peaceful, sugar-filled escape I had imagined. I grabbed a few items anyway, slightly disappointed about the limited options and the unexpected kid frenzy. But plot twist... once we got home, the pastries actually slapped!!! My kids were fully impressed and overruled my disappointment, bumping this place from a "meh" to a "fine, I guess you're good. They were extremely happy with the mini ube cake.

I have shopped at this location for years anytime I'm in downtown Redlands and have never bought anything I didn't like. They packaged things beautifully upon request, so they also make perfect gifts if you can manage not to eat them right away. The shop has an old time, historic feel, but is well maintained and incredibly clean. It gives you the feeling of stepping into the past without the dust. I can't wait to keep coming back and bring my little ones. The staff are always incredibly friendly. They have free samples of certain items so you can get a taste of the quality difference. On this last trip, I accidentally forgot one of the items I purchased, and the staff who checked this out, ran halfway down the street to make sure we got it back. I wish I could upload a photo, but I always eat everything way too fast.

The 2-workers were very friendly & served me within 5-minutes after I filled out my sandwich order. Of course I got some chocolate to go but I gotta try the peanut brittle next time.
