We recently had our kitchen counter, master bath counters, and shower replaced by this company…read more From beginning to end, it was a pleasure to work with the people we encountered. Mary at the front desk was kind, patient, helpful, and professional in my process of deciding what I wanted. She explained the entire process to me so there was no confusion. Mike Burnside came out and did all of the measuring with great care. Mike Burnside, David Wiggins, and Patience removed the old kitchen counter and sink, the old bathroom counters and sinks and replaced the counters with Quartz, porcelain sinks in the bathroom, and a stainless steel sink in the kitchen. These guys are professional, kind, and they were very careful in our home. A couple of weeks later, Mike Burnside, Fella (don't know his real name) and Marquel came to tear out the old shower and install the new one. Again, these guys were very professional and took great care in our home. I am so happy with everything I chose. It looks really beautiful. But what is much more important to us is that these guys treated our home as if it was theirs. They all are meticulous in their various jobs. If something isn't just right they work until it is. Remodeling is stressful to most any homeowner, however this crew made the process fairly easy for us with their professionalism, with the way they explained things step by step, even with their sense of humor. It is so rare these days to find a company that actually cares and where the workers take pride in what they do, where they show up when they say they will, and they do not spend all day on their phones. I just cannot say enough good things about everyone I came in contact with at Micalline.

However, I was very disappointed this past Saturday when I pulled up into the parking lot at 4:36 PM pulled on the door handle and it was locked .Peered through the tinted glass door , and a male individual signaled to me that they were closed. I immediately thought I must've read their hours wrong for a Saturday. As it turned out, I hadn't read them wrong. Their hours said they would be open until 5 PM. Boy I felt like I had been punched in the gut. It wouldn't have been so bad, but I made a special trip from out of town. I really felt unappreciated as a customer. Maybe the owner needs to realize that customer service is more than just assisting people inside the store, but also entails giving reliable information to their customers. Still uncertain if I'll ever go back.!

Good gravy people! Some of you are acting like you want to NOT have anyone to EVER help you! If that is the case...GO TO LOWES! They will be happy to NOT give you any assistance, and they hire plenty of people who have no earthly idea how to do anything other than play on their phones. E&T Hardware is a gem! Elgin is lucky to have a great place where we can go get what we need quickly and have people there who know what they are talking about. And so, some of the prices, not all, but some are a little more than the big box stores. The way I look at it is, my time is worth more than saving a few bucks here or there. I value my time and will continue to give E&T first shot at just about everything I need and only go to Lowes or HD when either E&T does not have what I need or the price is such that I have no other choice.

Jerome called ahead to make certain that we would be home and showed up right on time. He made a recommendation for a particular brand. I purchased that brand from a local retailer and Jerome installed it In about an hour; it worked perfectly (and was much quieter), so I decided to replace the other, older opener, to match the new one. Jerome came back a few days later (once I had the opener in hand) and performed that work. He patiently worked with me to program the outside openers and the opener on the dash of one of our cars. He took the old openers away (without my asking). I couldn't be happier.

This location was referred to us from a Lexington, SC Home Depot staff employee that's on Sunset Blvd. We was able to find this store location with ease, with the use of a GPS device or Google maps. Upon entering I was greeted by a knowledgeable and very professional staff. I was fortunate to get some assistance with my chainsaw repair by Anthony the manager, and I was very impressed with his customer service. He took his time to fix the problem I was having with my saw, and when I asked him how much I owed. He responded with "you don't owe me nothing" and thanked me for military service. He also just explained that he would really appreciate my business the next time. I'm positive that we will be back in near future and will highly recommend them to my friends!!!
