My daughter has been attending Tutor Time for almost 18 months now and our experience has been…read morenothing but great. She had a tough start, but the teachers were patient and kind and helped her adjust. It wasn't very long before she would light up when she saw them. It was my first experience with daycare as well and everyone was very supportive, answering any questions I had, making recommendations for my daughter based on what they had seen and their experience; it really helped to calm my anxiety. I have always felt that she is safe and well cared for there. She has grown immensely in her time there and I truly believe it is because of the effort of the teachers. We get weekly lesson plans and daily updates of what they're doing and how it contributes to her growth. We had our first parent teacher conference and the teacher showed up prepared with observations and opportunities for my daughter. You can tell they care about the kids and their growth. I really feel as though the teachers are a part of my team and I don't think my daughter would have grown as much as she has without them. Let me tell you that our daughter learned so much from the wonderful teachers. Everyday she shares something new she has learned. It feels like a true family. It is so easy every day dropping her off at school. I genuinely trust every single teacher and director. They communicate throughout the day and I love that I know she is learning, happy and safe. Ashley goes over and beyond with the Pre-K kids. She truly has a heart of gold. She cares for the children and you can see that teaching is her passion. I participated in this school for one year. I left because the school age teacher was unkind to my child. I spoke with the teacher to try to get a better understanding and the manager of the school. I don't think the teacher was reprimanded. I like the location of this center, if it weren't for the teacher we would still be there. Children under three and infants are well cared for.

He took the time to walk us through every section of the course, adding real-world lessons learned and practical safety tips that made everything click. Nothing felt rushed or glossed over. At the range, Doc worked with us to make sure we understood not just what to do, but just as importantly, what not to do. His approach made the entire experience comfortable, safe, and confidence‑building. This class is perfect for absolute beginners as well as people who already have some experience handling firearms. By the end, we received a certificate of completion--but what really stood out was the emphasis on safety, responsibility, and proper mindset. If you're looking for a solid CCW class taught by someone who genuinely cares about your understanding and safety, this is the one.

No discussion about incorrect answers. Details I didn't go to the range because -- without discussing my test answers with me -- Doc said he wanted to teach me and the friend I took the class with by ourselves. My friend had told me and him that watching videos only wasn't enough instruction for her. I thought I'd only need to go to the range because I was fairly certain I'd passed the written test. After I didn't hear from him for two days, I texted him and asked when we'd have the class (I meant at the range). He said he'd contact me later that day. When he didn't, I messaged him the next day -- three days after my class. He texted that he wanted to go over the classroom material with me for one-and-a-half to two hours. I asked if I'd passed the test. He replied "Are you okay?" I said I wanted to know if I passed the test and, if I did, I didn't want more class time. He called. He said I'd gotten four questions wrong. I asked if my score was passing. He said it was but that he wanted me to get more instruction because I'd end up killing someone because I "don't listen." Translation: "You have no right to ask me to do more than I've been getting away with doing, which is to not teach in the classroom; so shut up!" He should have reviewed all wrong answers after we took the test.That's what a teacher does. Reviewing tests is an integral part of instruction. Still on the phone, yelling, he called me "Entitled!" "He told me to "Shut up!" He said "None of the other people in the class liked you because you wouldn't shut up!" What I'd said during the class was that watching videos and reading with no teacher interaction wasn't what I'd paid for. I said it politely but I was clear. I didn't stutter If you just want range time without thorough classroom instruction, this class will be fine for you. Based on reviews, I've no doubt that Doc is an excellent teacher when it comes to handling and shooting a gun. But if learning what you're supposed to learn in the classroom is important to you, this isn't the class for you. Everything we did during the classroom portion could be done at home on your own -- reading and watching videos. This is exactly what we did while Doc did who knows what off screen. I learned more from my son than I did from Doc, including the first rule of gun safety, which we never discussed as a class (it was on a video but not in the material we read and Doc didn't mention it): Treat every gun like it's loaded. In addition, Doc gave us incomplete information about the last rule. He said it's: Always know where your target is and what's behind your target. However, there is third part to that rule: Always know what's between you and your target. On the phone, Doc threatened to report me to the state so that I will never get a CC license because I will "kill somebody" because I "don't listen." Since you can concealed carry in Ohio without a license, a good teacher, one who sincerely cares about public safety, would set his emotions aside and want me to learn as much as possible about how to handle a gun, not try to prevent me from learning because he is mad at me for talking back and wanting the classroom instruction I paid for and that the state requires for a license. My son said videos were used in the CC class he took as a SUPPLEMENT to instruction. His class consisted of verbal instruction from the teacher, discussion, questions and answers, and handling guns. Except for handling guns, which I assume took place at the range, that's is what Doc's class should have consisted of. That's what I paid for. My B.S. is in education. I know how good teachers teach, and for the $100 I paid, Doc was correct, I was "entitled'" to have him be one. Edit: Doc just texted me and told me he reported me to the Sheriff. He told me to "apologize." He called me "irrational" and "weird." He is completely unprofessional. I wanted to support a black business. That's why I went to him. But I'm now going to get my license where my son got his, Workman Firearms.

Kyle and staff are continuously working to improve and elevate the curriculum. They are flexible and understanding when it comes to pick up times as well as anything else that may come up.
