Originally, I was a product of the public school Drivers Ed program, but returned to 911 Driving Academy for a refresher course. Driving today is much different than it was driving 20 years ago and I felt that I needed an updated version of driver's education. That's why I chose 911. The instructors are the most knowledgeable concerning the l rules of the road. These guys & gals all presently work for or are retired First Responders from our local Fire, E.M.T. & Law Enforcement Offices. Who better to teach you the laws and give you the skills that they know and they've seen work firsthand, but our firefighters and police officers. The instructors I had and a few I ran into while I was there, were all very kind and accommodating and my driving instructor put my mind at ease, while we were out on the road. They really are a nice group of men and women. After my experience, I signed my 16 year old son, Stelios, up. He starts in February! Do yourselves a favor, Moms and Dads. Allow yourself the peace of mind that 911 Driving Academy will give you. It's not easy putting your kid behind the wheel. Let the professionals at 911 Academy steer your children in the right direction to becoming a knowledgeable, skilled and responsible driver. They will not disappoint. Oh! The Kia Souls the use at the academy are really easy to drive and maneuver. Another plus for 911.

She refused to fit me in or reschedule. They charged me the $75 for NOTHING The driving instructor that I was talking to was condescending and lectured me for five minutes on being on time, then told me many people fail this test. She asked me if I knew what smog was without telling me. It was an acronym for something, then proceeded to tell me because I didn't take their classes, I would probably fail. Even though I explained to her, I was told to be there at that time and was five minutes early she refused to help in any way. The next day when I called to explain the situation and try to reschedule, the girl told me they had a 15 minute late policy. Later in the conversation it changed to 10 minutes, and then finally five minutes. I asked her which was it? 15 minutes, 10 minutes, or five minutes? she got flustered and told me that she couldn't refund my money. Ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else

As a parent I went along for a drive. While my daughter is doing her drive Sharon is texting her son and not paying attention to what my daughter was doing. My daughter told me this was normal. Sharon went out of town so that my daughter's last drive was after the class program officially ended, again we were charged an extra $40 fee. When it came time for my daughter to take the written test Sharon would not return calls or texts to schedule the test. We ended up paying 911 Driving school to take both the written and drive test to get her license. I do not recommend 1st time Driving Academy in Auburn as long as Sharon is running it. Side note: Sharon also talked about her personal preference of organ donation. she told a class with parents and students that her husband did not want to be an organ donor. She said she planned to donate his organs anyway. Inappropriate discussion in my opinion.

Communication is horrible! Getting through to someone on the phone is almost impossible, classes are canceled last minute, or without notice. My daughter rode an Uber to class one day, only to get there and find a sign on the door that the class was canceled. When I reached out to the school to learn why I was not made aware, they advised that they had sent a notice to the students' email. Say what? Communication had always been through my email and phone. So that was $40 in Uber for nothing. More than once, this has happened. We are charged a fee of $40 if the student is late past 15 minutes, doesn't show, or does not have their driving permit with them, but when they are late, don't show up, or cancel last minute, they take zero accountability. The very last appointment that we had for the skills test, we waited over an hour past our appointment for the driving instructor to even show up. The office staff was unapologetic, and there seemed to be no sense of urgency. It took everything in me not to reach out to the DOL and AG to lodge a complaint. The only thing positive that I can honestly say about this business is about the drive instructor Clayton (Not the one that didnt show up) He always answered questions, was very patient, and personable. Other than that I can not in good faith recommend that anyone enroll their kid in this driving school until they tighten up. It is not right or fair for the people who spend their money in hopes of getting their driver's license! 1/10 I would not recommend.

She kept asking to review her mistakes, but they never allowed her to see what she did wrong or to review the exam. In the end, I took her to another school. The new school is excellent, it is called I-5. She passed both the written test and the driving test on the first try there. This previous school only took our money and scammed us. We did weekend courses which was so convenient and Lincoln was always alert and interesting sometimes bringing his young daughter in during the first few minutes of online driving school. He definitely kept our teens attention. Rick was our daughter's favorite in person driving instructor for the following reasons. He was patient and kind, he offered great feedback and was very positive. That goes a long way for a brand new/teen driver. She passed her physical driving test the first time with flying colors and we owe that to the instructors that taught her. She is a terrific driver now and very confident. Where she learned makes a big difference and we would definitely recommend defensive driving school of Kent.

Plus the employees were very sweet and helpful. To all the people who were confused as to why they failed when they looked at their phones, there's literally multiple posters in the testing room that state "Do not use your phone in here during the test". So glad I went here to take the test.

This place was very helpful and answered any questions I had from start to finish. They respond to emails really quick especially when I had any concerns. They made her feel comfortable and she loved going on her test drives especially loved how they had different themes on the cars! So cool if your looking for a place that has great communication, great customer service, and great staff this is the place for you! Just want to say Thankyou for the wonderful experience!
