We've had a great experience with Roadsafe Driving Academy in Seattle. My daughter, Elezabeth,…read morestarted the Teen Advanced Driving Program with no previous driving experience. After completing the classroom portion and starting her driving lessons, I was surprised by how quickly she improved. Within just a few weeks, I could see a real difference in her confidence, awareness, vehicle control, and understanding of safe driving. The instructors have been patient, knowledgeable, and professional. What I like most is that they don't just teach students how to pass the driving test. They really focus on safety, good judgment, and building responsible driving habits. Before choosing Roadsafe, I spent some time researching and contacting different driving schools in the Seattle area. I'm glad I did. Roadsafe offered a good program at a reasonable price, and they were responsive and easy to communicate with. Surprisingly, some other schools I contacted never even returned my calls. I'm very happy with our decision and would definitely recommend Roadsafe to other parents. My advice is to do your research and compare schools before signing up. For us, Roadsafe has been a great choice. Thank you to the Roadsafe team for taking good care of my daughter and helping her become a safer, more confident driver!

I have gotten my driver's license a few years ago in CA and have been driving in WA with my CA…read morelicense until it expired. I forgot to change my CA license to WA license, thus I need to retake a driving test in WA. I took a 30min warm-up lesson and passed the driving test today! I have previously done warm-up + test at a different driving school and failed, so I think I can provide some comparisons between the two experiences. Though I might be biased due to the different results, but I will try to be as impartial as possible. Jason, the owner and instructor at Street Law Driving School, was completely honest and up-front with me. During the warm-up, there was a stop sign where I did not come to a full stop and Jason told me in a test that would have disqualified me so that I can pay attention to that in the test. Also Jason helped me to improve in the back-maneuvering and parallel parking, the two sections that I got points of in my previous test. He gave simple but clear instructions on the steps I needed to take to perform those two tasks and asked me to repeat a few times until I have them nailed down all by myself. At the driving school where I took my previous test, the instructor simply went over the steps as if quoting out of an instruction manual without providing any feedbacks on what I did wrong, then took off points during the test. After the test, Jason went over the points that I missed in detail to make sure I actually have them remembered for my own safety. All of the points Jason took off make sense in the hindsight and are clearly explained. Whereas, in my previous test, the examiner just flat-out refused to provide any explanation for the points taken off and told me I'm a hazard to the road. I highly recommend Street Law Driving School to anyone, especially people who are in similar situation as I do. Jason holds the same standard as any examiner is expected to do, but at the same time, he also shows great compassion and wants to ensure the success of his students for their own safety, whereas, I find many other big-name driving schools mostly care about how to sell you more classes. Just for that alone, Jason and Street Law Driving School deserve all my recommendations.

Enjoy my email thread with WMST (in chronological order):…read more First email 5/1/2023: "Hi there, My name is Christopher and I missed this morning's class in Monroe due to several things outside my control that I believe need to be brought to your attention: The address for the classroom is not on the receipt (nor is the time), and the address on the website leads you to a grassy field in Monroe next to Evergreen Speedway with no further information other than to look for a building with a green roof (there are several). There are no signs nor contact numbers to call at 7:30am, including the instructors. I wandered around Evergreen speedway for an hour (I arrived at 7:15am) looking for a "green roof building" and a "guard house", both of which are on the opposite side of the property from the address that is on the website. No "WMST class (this way)" signs, no pictures of the building to meet in front of on the website, literally nothing to help someone who's never been to Evergreen Speedway. By the time I found them (which took asking three different people before I got the correct answer), I was 45 minutes past the class start time (after driving an hour to get there in the first place) and was turned away. I then proceeded to spend another hour and a half in the car driving home against I-405 traffic. The instructor was apologetic (and promised I could reschedule without further cost), and I appreciate that this isn't specifically anyone's fault, but it is *extremely* poor planning on the part of WMST. No signs, no further info on website, no way to contact anyone for help, a vague address and even more vague directions? This class can be done much better. I hope that you will allow me to reschedule my class at no additional cost, as I took two days off work and cancelled a doctor appointment to take this course today and tomorrow. Please, can you help me get registered into another class? Thank you" 2nd email 5/3/2023: "Hello, I contacted a couple days ago about getting a rescheduling for the beginner motorcycle permit class and haven't heard back. I missed the class due to preventable reasons outside my control. Can you please help me get a reschedule confirmation? Thanks" 3rd email 5/7/2023: "Hello, I contacted six days ago about getting a rescheduling for the beginner motorcycle permit class at no additional cost and haven't heard back. I missed the class due to preventable reasons outside my control which I listed in the first email, and make $300 a week, so it was a very expensive investment for me. Can you please help me get a reschedule confirmation? Please give me a call at (425)313-1091 or reply to this email. I am frequently away from the phone, so I've been using email because it is a much more reliable form of contact for me. Thanks" Their reply ten days later: "Good morning Christopher I'm sorry that I have been unable to reach you by phone on both May 1st and today.. Unfortunately, I am unable to reschedule this course with the original tuition paid. I can re-enroll you with a 10% discount in a future course as a courtesy. I'm sorry you had difficulty finding the course. The instructors did try to reach you by phone however you had provided a home telephone number instead of a cell phone. The instructors did wait in front of the green roof building restrooms per the email instructions until 7:40am to try to meet up with you. I have reviewed the email instructions for the location and they seem to be very accurate for this location" Basically called me an idiot and a liar, claimed I gave them the wrong phone number (no messages at home, which was not unoccupied during my absence, either) and kept my money after promising a free reschedule. No where in America does anyone get away with keeping money after not delivering promised goods and services, except WMST apparently. Do not trust them. Do not use them. Go *anywhere* else. You have been WARNED.

The morning half consisted of classroom time and the afternoon half was riding time. Don't be late! We learned quite a bit on safety and the capabilities of these 3-wheeled vehicles. There were quite a few models of Can-am Spyders and Rykers, as well as Trikes and motorcycles with sidecars. We were able to try out any we wanted. Both the written and riding tests are given on the 2nd day. Lee and Ray are wonderful instructors! They both had a great sense of humor and kept us engaged in the classroom. Their teaching style just works and I vastly improved in the 2 days of class. I had so much fun! I highly recommend class with the both of them. I did get my 2-wheel motorcycle endorsement from this location back in 2009. I took the (BRC) Basic Riders Course as well as the Additional Riding Session. They will hold the class no matter what the weather is so be prepared. I recall taking my BRC class during winter and the rain was horizontal with the parking lot filled with water. It definitely made it interesting when it came down to testing. If you're thinking of getting on a 2-wheel or 3-wheel vehicle but have never ridden before or have experience and just want to get your endorsement, this is the place to go.
