They charged me the $75 for NOTHING The driving instructor that I was talking to was condescending and lectured me for five minutes on being on time, then told me many people fail this test. She asked me if I knew what smog was without telling me. It was an acronym for something, then proceeded to tell me because I didn't take their classes, I would probably fail. Even though I explained to her, I was told to be there at that time and was five minutes early she refused to help in any way. The next day when I called to explain the situation and try to reschedule, the girl told me they had a 15 minute late policy. Later in the conversation it changed to 10 minutes, and then finally five minutes. I asked her which was it? 15 minutes, 10 minutes, or five minutes? she got flustered and told me that she couldn't refund my money. Ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else

My driving lesson was scheduled for Tuesday, March 24 at 1:00 PM. On Monday, March 23 at 10:06 AM, I sent a text message to the school requesting to reschedule the lesson. This was approximately 26 hours and 54 minutes before the scheduled lesson, which is more than the required 24 hour notice. I have a screenshot showing the timestamp of when the message was sent. The school later stated that they did not receive the message and told me I would be charged a $30 late cancellation fee. I explained that I did attempt to notify the school within the required time frame and provided proof that the message was sent within the 24 hour notice period. Despite this, the owner stated that I would not be allowed to continue or schedule any of my prepaid driving lessons unless I paid the $30 fee. Because I had already prepaid for a package of driving lessons and did not want to lose access to the services I had already paid for, I paid the $30 fee so that I could continue my lessons. My aunt also went to the school in person on March 24 at approximately 1:45 PM to try to resolve the issue, and the owner again stated that I had to pay the fee or I would not be allowed to continue my prepaid lessons. He told us that if we did not want to pay, we could contact the Department of Licensing. I did attempt to resolve this issue directly with the school by explaining the timeline and providing proof of the message timestamp before filing complaints. I believe this fee was charged unfairly because I made a good faith effort to reschedule more than 24 hours in advance and have proof that I attempted to notify the school within the required notice period. I paid for my knowledge test online, then walked in that day (walk-ins welcomed between 4p-6p). The lady at the front desk was warm and welcoming and the wait was not long at all. The gentleman that administrated my test was kind and he postponed his plans so that I could stay and take the test. He was encouraging and made me feel comfortable. The driving test was just as easy to get an appointment. The test costs were affordable and the instructor was thorough. He gave me feedback and congratulated me. I'm very satisfied with both the accommodations and friendliness of their customer service. It couldn't have gone smoother!
