I was charged $125 and 00 cents at the Lucas Ave Stewart's shop which I did not spend. I got gas,…read moremilk and some candy that equaled to $43.26. When I went to pay for it my card was decline. I called my bank and that's when they said there's a hold for $125.00 which was spent at the Lucas Ave Stewart shop the same date and time I was there. They asked me to try to resolve it with Stewart's before I put in an official claim. So I called and "tried" to speak to a manager. She was borderline yelling and talking over me, wouldn't really let me finish a sentence, saying " No one spent $125 here I was here all day." She wouldn't do anything except yell at me apparently. So I put in a claim with my bank and waiting for that to go through. Moral of the story: I no longer trust Stewart's on Lucas Ave because there is no clarity as to what happened to the $125.00. It's too bad because I've been a customer there for 20+ years. Never again!

Although I wasn't forced to (given the other nearby options) I chose to make life easy and come her instead. I didn't see much on the route in terms of gas, but decided to make things easy. However, once I got here, I didn't see any other cars here, nor did any other cars ever pull into this station (until after I got done and was about to leave). It was so freaky, it was if I could hear a pin drop; it was dead silent here. The transaction went pretty smoothly, given the conditions I was up against with my GasBuddy card in-hand...right up until I was ready to collect my receipt. The pump operated smoothly, although when I tried to click it off at 19.70, it stopped at 19.71 just as I hung up the nozzle and I didn't even realize it. The pump told me to go inside and collect my receipt. I didn't know about the price adjustment, but I won't worry about the penny. When I got inside, I saw no one in their either. The one employee they had working was sitting down just off the main room in a small (what looked to be) hallway (near I don't know what). However, as soon as I announced my intentions with my "Pay-at-the-Pump" transaction and the need for a receipt that the pump said to go inside for the receipt (pump 5), the employee came out and printed out my receipt. I took my receipt and headed out. I know Kerhonkson is this sleepy town with little to no action, but it was TOO quiet for this transaction to have gone over well.

The convience store part is clean and well-maintained; with a friendly and accommodating staff person. The highlight for us was the inexpensive coffee service; freshly brewed, with plenty of flavored creamers. If one one needs a fill-up (gas and/or coffee); this establishment is a strong choice.

I had to come through Hyde Park to get to the BurgerFi in Poughkeepsie, and although my gas tank was getting pretty barren for an Uber driver like myself, I knew I'd have enough to stop in. I was looking for a gas-station in a change-of-pace mood earlier this week, and stopped in. It had been so long since I last stopped into this location (Fall 2014), that I just had to stop in again. I was just getting gas, and much like all the other gas fill-ups, had my GasBuddy card on hand (which only works when you use the pay-at-the-pump feature). I stopped in, and although I knew once inserted and I start entering my Driver ID/PIN, the number would be visible (unmasked), I expected it. The station had a few cars when I got there, but it seemed to me like it was "business as usual." I filled up, and no sooner, was asked to report the price on GasBuddy and take off again. The exit here is tricky. It's address is centered off of Route 9, yet although it has one south-bound turning exit onto 9, for those wanting to go North, you have to pull out onto Parker Ave to reach the tricky t-intersection (with the tricky Pine Woods Rd cross street nearby). I had to go south - and although traffic was a little light, having that busier Pine Woods Rd cross street coming up, knew the situation was about to get hairy - their sidewalk made the exit a little scary, but otherwise I was prepared. I don't ever really remember ever having to really go in in the entire history of using this station (with my history of pay-at-the-pump transactions). Although I later remembered that there's a Shell and Speedway a little further down the road than this Sunoco (with teensy-bit better prices with(Shell) and without(Speedway) my five cents off discount factored in), it got me through how I felt that day. I'm closer to another city's Sunoco branch, but we'll live. We'll have to part ways now, though.

Like the convenience of this location (right by the Thruway) and that there are lots of pumps with decent prices. The coffee and sandwiches here are actually quite good. Getting into and out of the place isn't always the easiest, but it's not too bad. As I said, sandwiches are pretty good here, the place is clean and gas prices are usually decent.

As long as the place is semi-clean, the staff isn't rude, I'm pretty much good. Oh, and there's one other thing... The windshield washer fluid and squeegee situation at the pumps. I hate when there's no washer fluid. I hate when there hasn't been washed or fluid for days and there's cobwebs holding the squeegee in the reservoir. Typically when I pull into a convenience store the first thing I check is the washer fluid because that's the first thing I do.. if there isn't any, I go somewhere else. If there is I wash my windshield I fill up with gasoline and I typically go inside and buy some snacks. I'm guessing you can judge by the number of stars I just left, that this particular location doesn't have any.

The drive-through pharmacy is extremely convenient, but they must update the alert system to cut down on weight time. and they absolutely need to resurface the turnaround because after you have picked up your items from the drive-through pharmacy, you'll need a tank to navigate around the potholes. We use this pharmacy because it's very close by to my home. If Walgreens or CVS were closer, I'd probably switch.
