QuickChek stations…read moreare one of my preference as the price seems to be a little bit less than others and their coffee/ cookie selection is incredible. Now I reviewed this particular chain before out in Middletown New York and it wasn't a very nice one, and unfortunately this one isn't that great either. My main concern/ complaint is the lack of windshield washer fluid at the pumps. I've even gotten a hold of corporate in the past and they said they were on top of it however I've been to this particular location two nights in a row now and since about a week and a half ago at least if there's no washer fluid.... Well actually no I stand corrected there is actually washer fluid in the reservoirs tonight, however there's only two squeegees to go around four different sets of pumps. I will attach a picture of one of the squeegees to this review as it is the most ugly, decrepid looking piece of equipment I've ever tried to use to wash my window. Not sure exactly what anyone thinks a person is supposed to do with this thing but yeah My other observation... Well actually let me go back to the coffee and cookies and once again say that they are phenomenal. I hate being all negative when there are positive aspects. But as I was just saying, my other observation is the garbage around the pump areas and the cigarette butts in the parking lot as you walk up to the door. Coincidentally I'm at the same gas pump tonight as I was last night and the same garbage /paper cups are in the same places that they were yesterday. Someone took the garbage out because they were overflowing yesterday but nobody picked up the trash around the pump. Nobody has swept cigarette butts and quite a while or at least I'm guessing because judging by the number on the ground either it's been a while or there was a group of about 45 people smoking cigarettes all at the same time. So anyway, I'm actually going to stop at a couple other locations later including the one in Middletown that I reviewed earlier just out of curiosity to see if their washer fluid situation has changed any. The corporate office said that they were on top of it however who knows maybe it takes a couple weeks for word to get down the corporate ladder to the managers of the stores to get stuff done.

I'm also able to learn some Spanish (because I don't speak natively, so I always ask her "como se dice" ("how do you say"), and whether I need raisins, spices or something else, she shows me what isle and she pronounces the word in Spanish so I can learn. It's refreshing, honestly. Kevin is also very kind and cool! I always see him in the cat food section, ready to help customers. These small interactions make my day a tad bit better. These friendly interactions ensure my shopping experience is top notch!

The general quality of commercial and the few organic brands, prepared foods, cheeses, etc are fine. Some of Hannaford's stock is tailored to the local community. For example, I feel these folks offer more bison cuts and even think there's more turkey here than any other local supermarket I shop at in Westchester County. It's easy to rack up points with their free loyalty program which you can use to get money off your entire grocery bill with those $5, $10 (listen, I'll take it) or receive those coupons to spend on individual offers. You can buy these same items elsewhere, but we were literally right next door, so Cub will do. Cub M. gives off a pantry layout+deli+ breakfast spot (seating outside) all rolled into one. Tall steel shelves are filled with Mrs. Meyer's products, pet food in one area, canned goods and other non-perishables. As an added bonus, there are prepared foods and veggies, etc. on the other side. We picked up a $7.99 Mykonos cashew+coconut milk butter, hubs picked a 6 pack, a Veg-only Fritatta and other things. To which, I knew I couldn't go back to the restaurant, and instead noticed your store open and knew instinctively what most Stewarts Shops carried and knew that this product could be found here. Although you were washing floors near the product, when you saw me head towards the wrong register (which would have been closer for the employee to ring it up on) (it was just a 2L Pepsi bottle), you communicated your intentions and performed to your best. I thank you. For being so close and open when I needed you, you shone in my darkest light. I know I don't walk into your particular store very often, but it was necessary. I still don't like your entry and exit points onto both Delaware Avenue and Broadway (there's no lighting onto Broadway) and it seems very confusing at this intersection due to the crisscrossing of yet a third road from a location nearby. I actually don't like this corner: cars coming from the 'Strand come up Broadway too quickly there and it can get interesting navigating. However, you shone your light at the entrance with LCD brightness that really provided me assurance that I'd be safe inside for a few minutes getting the necessary item.
