I mean, it always seems expensive there, and probably for good measure. I never see a car there no matter how many times I pass it every day. When I swiped my card, I didn't see the difference in price signs above the machine, and the angle of the signs just made things more horrible. I heard about your five cents off card, but for that, it acts like a credit card - not something that should be touted all over. I was unaware at first that your machines would sound out about Valero's services when I came to pump, and when the pumps just didn't start at a reasonable time, I almost put the pump back and walk away. The voices sounded too lifelike, but at first it almost seemed like you were speaking to your customers from inside using this system and that's something I just don't like. I couldn't believe that even before pumping, the pumps asked if I wanted a receipt. I don't like pumps asking before - in my book, that's considered - pushing the sale, and isn't acceptable. Hearing all this, really made me wonder if I'll ever be back. I know about your competitor next door, but even other Valero's I've visited in the last year don't act this same way and I can sometimes favor them in lieu of your gas pumps.

And…read morealthough my experience was a good one (so far as I know - having not known how efficient this gas is in my tank), I can't say for certain this was a good trip nor a bad one either. Although looks can be intimidating at first, the fact that prices per gallon seemed cheaper if you paid in cash, this place doesn't look all that well kept up on the roads and is in an area that looks about 20 years behind the times. The employee I met up with took my money in an efficient manner, but never did give me my receipt. I myself wasn't thinking straight and never asked her later for one. I know from others who have tried in here themselves too, this place needs some renovating. The inside is tiny and the roads leading up to and into the station are terrible....the road is cracked in several spots and my car went "bumpety-bumpety bump" over several potholes in the street which was pure terror on my 2009 car - I hate to see what the road and surrounding area would do to a brand new (same model year as the most current year) car if these were to travel over it. Clean up and re-renovate the roads surrounding your business and definitely eliminate that annoying extra turn that makes me confused near that bank so you don't have to make the extra turn towards the bank just to make a 45 degree turn towards your establishment, which seems kinda' extra much to get to a gas station (most gas stations are straight in and straight out).

This is a nice store. There is a quick check express across the street, but they are not open 24…read morehours a day. This is the larger store, and it is. It is very clean inside. They have a large number of gas pumps, and the gas prices are reasonable, They have everything you need from food, snacks, other food items, and sundries, if you are in a pinch, they even sell cell phone cables. They have milk, beer , alcoholic hard sodas and teas, as well as sodas and other nonalcoholic drinks. I really like the "liquid death" flavored sparkling water. They come in some great flavors, with clever names.. They also have hot food, an espresso/coffee bar, and even a sandwich shop. The espresso bar and the sandwich shop are not open 24 hours, though . They also have an ATM that does not charge a surcharge. The only thing you would pay is whatever your bank charges you to not use one of their ATMs. If you get a quick check card, you can get some very good deals when your shop. All you do is swipe your card or punch in your phone number. Most of the time, the employees are very friendly, once in a while, you get somebody who is a little bit grumpy, but hey, everybody has a bad day. Be aware, that if you want a bag, you have to pay $.50 for one of their cloth bags. Yes, they are reusable, but I have so many of those darn things, I could open up my own grocery store. Overall, it's a good store. I wish they had them in California, where I live. I will I will always stop by when I am in town.

I rarely if never review gas stations unless there's good reason. This particular Speedway was so…read morefilthy I almost did a U turn. Like "call public health" filthy. Nothing looked appealing after that encounter. Not even things in wrappers or cans. How can any management allow bathrooms or floors get to third-world conditions like this ones? How low does an employees sense of duty or care have to go- oh wait. Though to be fair it's also about the dignity and respect the general public show an establishment they use. We are living in Trumps version of "America." The bar has been set so low, and and the People follow (or perhaps less than 1/3 of them anyway). Dismayed.

My car was fine until it was time to pay and i got told "the caliper piston was leaking and thats why the brakes felt weird" i replied they didnt feel weird before coming here (i know my car) So i go out to my car, start it, put it in drive and my foot literally goes to the floor as my car is rolling forward so i quickly put it back in park....my mechanically inclined brother goes to investigate and low and behold my brake hose was broken.....brake fluid all over the ground! THOSE BRAKE LINES WERE DONE 8 MONTHS AGO!!!! PRACTICALLY BRAND NEW!!!! What do i get told by people at vancleecks? That it was my fault, that i brought my car to them like that, they even went as far as telling me where i parked had brake fluid on the ground which it wasnt brake fluid....it was oil cause my car has an oil leak! There's no Wal-Mart in America's Highlands, when all else is closed and you don't feel like avoiding a million deer on pitch black winding two lane roads, you head to Stewart's! Joy!
