The employee, during a previous position with another customer, looked like he was going to have a hard time dealing with my problem. Although it took him a little while to obtain the right information via his computer, it took him a few extra seconds searching for the product. But in the end, his register printed the receipt and I got away scot-free. He actually served my order well, with very little to worry about. I know I shouldn't judge people by their previous actions, but it seemed like a difficult encounter to associate to when I got there. The rest of the store was clean and maintained, but the aisles were a bit narrower and I was unable to make it through successfully without bumping into something. Their selection of goods made them an applicable candidate to suit me when their competitors lost my business, although don't expect to see my drug orders converted to this pharmacy any time soon, as I have a bit of a medical situation/crisis going on myself. I do remember, though the times I used to use your store when it was in that mall nearby, and those were definitely the good ol' days. I thank you for moving your store closer to the main drag and even adding that Drive-Up window, and even for now being a 24/7 store. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

So creamy. So cold. The diversity of flavor is truly relaxing to eat. Jessica was our cashier and she gave us great thick ice cream samples. Solid bites. I've never been served bigger portions, which is so cool. We tried a handful of flavors and she was so warm and friendly to talk to you. I also got the chocolate milk, peanut butter. It's not my favorite, and I feel like the peanut butter doesn't do anything to add to the chocolate milk. So I would not recommend the peanut butter. Jessica told us that their dairy is sourced from the local dairy farm that is awarded every year. They know their stuff!

I was charged $125 and 00 cents at the Lucas Ave Stewart's shop which I did not spend. I got gas,…read moremilk and some candy that equaled to $43.26. When I went to pay for it my card was decline. I called my bank and that's when they said there's a hold for $125.00 which was spent at the Lucas Ave Stewart shop the same date and time I was there. They asked me to try to resolve it with Stewart's before I put in an official claim. So I called and "tried" to speak to a manager. She was borderline yelling and talking over me, wouldn't really let me finish a sentence, saying " No one spent $125 here I was here all day." She wouldn't do anything except yell at me apparently. So I put in a claim with my bank and waiting for that to go through. Moral of the story: I no longer trust Stewart's on Lucas Ave because there is no clarity as to what happened to the $125.00. The gas here is usually very reasonable and typically cheaper than most places in the Kingston area. Their milk shakes are to die for, and their ice cream is hand scooped (I'm not a fan of soft serve, so Stewarts always hits the mark for me). We're in their milk club - the quality is always high and the prices very reasonable. My only complaint is that they don't have organic. Staff is very kind and friendly. Always helpful and they remember the locals. :)

But everytime I stop in here, I'm always puzzled as to why it's so dirty and attracts so many poor street-people to "garbage-shop"(if that's really what it can be called)? I use pay-at-the-pump every time I come here with my GasBuddy card, and it seems like every time I come here, there are other street-walkers who come and pick through the garbage bins outside near the pumps. I seem to catch a glimpse of the garbage buckets (but never look through their contents), and they are always filled up with garbage along with many five-cent deposit bottles.(One time, I looked and it had over 4-five cent deposit bottles right off the top of it.) But that's not the way it is inside. I know it's small, but the employees are nice. I rarely have to go in and make a purchase, but there have been a few times I stepped inside. I was depressed once at the line, but that's a long story over that experience: and something that wasn't even my fault either but I wish not to explain it here. The store handled it to the best of their abilities, but it was just weird what happened. This location isn't in the best part of town, but it is on a main route (Broadway) (and near a secondary main route (Delaware Ave) that can be seen from this location). I do shop here, but not all that often; if I'm in town, I'd shop more at the Foxhall Ave location than here in the future, but only shop here if I'm in desperate need.

Although I found this store to be a suitable place to buy simple items that are quickly needed, I really don't think I'll be in here much. I don't get to use (what used to be) Kingston Hospital much, and having this store around the corner might be convenient for those in desperate need of a quick prescription during the day (if they don't think they'll be able to walk into the other nearby CVS, RiteAids or other Walgreens in Kingston which are just as close. However, I found the store to be clean and well organized. It was late at night, but the store wasn't closed at that point when I walked in. Many kudos go to this store for being open when I needed them. It didn't take me very long at all to "shop" for the items, and I was even greeted that night walking in (although it was the cashier who didn't come out and say it to my face until much later when I brought my stuff to the register to check-out.) I don't remember closing my rewards card, so I was amazed that Walgreens still had my rewards card number in it's database (I have never used it since I started it in 2010) when I got rung up. I was also surprised at the product selection, though it was leaving a little more to be desired. In terms of soft paper towels, outside of Viva and a store-brand, I was amazed that there were no real other choices...but I took my chances and actually found that store-brand really did work for me in a pinch, and I thank you.

The gentleman working the register had a terrible attitude toward multiple customers. One customer ahead of me even had to ask for a bag for his purchases. Nobody expects employees to be overly cheerful, but basic courtesy, professionalism, and respect should be expected, especially when working directly with the public. Everyone is going through something in life. People are dealing with deaths, personal struggles, financial hardships, and things you know nothing about. There is no reason to make customers feel like an inconvenience simply because they walked into your store. If you don't have the patience or temperament to work with the public, perhaps the front counter isn't the right position. Customer service matters, and this experience definitely deserves management's attention.

They give free coffee, snacks sometimes when you are on their Facebook. Staff is pretty friendly and I think their gas prices are always a bit cheaper than anybody else. First of all: I'd hate to say that this place really isn't in "Woodstock" like the address says it…read moreis. It's just in the outer banks of Kingston - off Route 28. This address is just unclear and seems like it's further into Woodstock then it really is, upon initial inspection. I came into this gas station - after having a longer trip I wasn't expecting to have had to the outer banks of Mt. Tremper on Uber. I knew I was in need of gas - I can't let my gas go below a half tank or longer trips on Uber can run any car I run to go out of gas quickly, and not make my trip to the place very pleasant. However, I was at the quarter tank mark when I came past so in I came. Although the gas areas were filling quickly - not many other customers were moving quickly. There were a few lanes open, and not having a direct-in from 28 southbound is really discouraging to see. There are signs of no left turn - forcing those to take Zena Rd's one entrance into the gas station. However, when I got in there, the signs don't seem to be stopping people. I watched three cars turn left into the business - bypassing this sign; if I would have had my phone on me, I would've video-recorded it and showed it to the police. I did it right and turned off Zena Rd instead, so that's all that matters here. I got gas - as normal. It asked if I wanted a receipt (for a pay-at-the-pump transaction) after I pressed the button for "yes", I couldn't help but notice that the screen never "cleared" my selection after it sent my receipt out. Maybe it's just a delay in these pumps - I haven't had this problem on any other Stewarts pumps before, so not sure what happened. I responded to a few things, then upon exiting back out directly onto 28, was forced to hang a right and head northbound - when I clearly wanted to go southbound (and my car was facing clearly due north with no way to go south). I didn't think I could swing around and head back to Zena Rd, and with all the car traffic in their few parking spots and all the foot traffic in the "parking lot" didn't think I could make it around to get back to 28 south. Clearly, that area has to change. I shouldn't be forced to go miles out of my way the opposite directions of the clearest directions most people are coming just because some business feels it's not right to make certain turns. I could easily have fit the left turn into the business if there hadn't been the no-left turn sign. Not too sure of the left turn out, because there's not enough space to make the turn, and I shouldn't be forced to make a turn I was unwilling to make - to go miles out of my way back from where I came from - the next turn to turn around was 3 miles out of my beckon way.

They also sell ices in boxes from the freezers (their own flaves like rocky road, neapolitan etc.) and their drink, snack, soda, coffee, bars, candy, rolls, buns, crullers are the best to be had: if you are visiting the Empire State (NEW YORK), chances are you'll encounter the Stewart's (based in NY) brand. Remember: they do refills (for a charge) on coffee (used to, at least), the ice creams are solid and each place has 3 tables to chill! To which, I knew I couldn't go back to the restaurant, and instead noticed your store open and knew instinctively what most Stewarts Shops carried and knew that this product could be found here. Although you were washing floors near the product, when you saw me head towards the wrong register (which would have been closer for the employee to ring it up on) (it was just a 2L Pepsi bottle), you communicated your intentions and performed to your best. I thank you. For being so close and open when I needed you, you shone in my darkest light. I know I don't walk into your particular store very often, but it was necessary. I still don't like your entry and exit points onto both Delaware Avenue and Broadway (there's no lighting onto Broadway) and it seems very confusing at this intersection due to the crisscrossing of yet a third road from a location nearby. I actually don't like this corner: cars coming from the 'Strand come up Broadway too quickly there and it can get interesting navigating. However, you shone your light at the entrance with LCD brightness that really provided me assurance that I'd be safe inside for a few minutes getting the necessary item.
