After I closed on the home and got the keys to the house, I found myself inside an neglected home. It looked nothing like the pictures (or like when I put an offer on the house.) The house was full of trash (I have several pictures to prove it), useless appliances were left behind, the backyard was full of dog excrement, and, the landscape was dry and neglected. I had to spend a considerable amount of time and money to get the house in shape. Seller did very little to remedy the situation. I would never trust making a deal with anyone they represent. In my experience, this realtor(s) failed to make sure his client came through with his obligations: delivering a home free of trash and in the condition it was advertised. My realtor requested a refund for the money I had to pay to clear out all of the trash left behind. I was never reimbursed. In case you are wondering, I pointed these things out during the final walk through, and I was told they would be taken care of.
