We have lived in our community in Yucaipa for over 20 years without any issues. However, ever since a new community was built and the homes were leased out by Allied Pacific, there have been ongoing problems. Most recently, we received a letter from the Operations Manager, Paul Accardo, accusing our family of breaking into cars -- an unfounded and baseless claim with no evidence provided. When we reached out to their Redlands location to address this matter, Mr. Accardo not only failed to support his accusations but also unprofessionally ended the call by hanging up on us. It is deeply concerning that this company would resort to making false allegations and attempting to intimidate long-standing residents. Slandering people's names without proof is unacceptable, and the lack of professionalism we experienced is alarming. I am sharing this in hopes that others are aware of how this company conducts itself. Additionally, I would like to formally request that someone in upper management reach out to me regarding this situation. read more

You can have perfect credit and perfect rental history. I should have paid attention to the yelp reviews. They are not empathy and understanding. Currently trying to move from a harassing landlord and neighbors. Never experienced a landlord that invaded personal privacy and threatening. This company asked too many personal questions that did not concern my rental history. I have been approved by two additional properties but denied here because they dug and dug and dug just to find dirt on me. It's weird, all the facts were on my credit report my last landlord where I lived for almost 4 years had a recommendation letter about my character and rental history. Not enough. I am happy I was denied due to them asking my personal references very personal questions (I am a very private person) -the lack of diversity in the office should have been red flag number one and the yelp reviews of discrimination should have made me run. I've been harassed for a year and I don't want to continue to be harassed. Don't rent from here if you're a private person and especially if you're going through a lot in your personal life because your rental history and credit doesn't matter here. Looking for somewhere to live is already stressful don't waste your time and increase your anxiety by dealing with them. There are a lot of properties and private owners that will be willing to rent to you. read more

California is a communist state, many have referred to this toilet as a price guagiing entity. The price of everything, including rent keeps going up, except for worker salaries. It is better to buy, at least the price gouger communist(like Allied) can't raise your rent whenever they feel like doing so. The absolute worst! First to see a property you must go to their office to sign out a key. The office is inconveniently located on the outskirts of town. They ask you leave $20 cash or your credit card! I'm not leaving my credit card. She I get the key drive back to the house and the door does not open. I have been renting from Allied for 1 year and 7 months. This home provided a safe haven for me in a time of need. The rental process was easy and quick and any questions I had were answered with the utmost professionalism. In my time here I have had zero issues that were not resolved with in 1-2 days (even on weekends they've provided maintenance service). The office staff are all friendly and warm and ready to answer questions to facilitate you. I worked with Casey who was professional, prompt and easy going. I can not recommend this company enough. I have zero complaints and am very satisfied with the rental property. My reason for moving was due to relocation, otherwise I would have probably stayed. Matt denied our application because he was pissed off that we neglected to mention we have companion animals in our household even though we had told someone in that company previously who had mentioned it to the owners of the house we were interested in and said it was okay to apply. He was really upset that we didn't tell him before and told me that we needed to add the companion animals to our application even though the application clearly states to only add pets not companion or service animals. Legally by California law we didn't even have to mention it to them but again we had previously discussed it with someone prior. He immediately denied our application and refused to listen further as if we wasted his time. ** We explained that there were issues with that landlord who were harassing my brother about the animals. We explained that animals were not a nuisance. What is interesting to me that we have been living at our current residence for over 2 years now and i know that you talked to them and they did not say anything about the support animals being a problem but instead you deny us because of a shitty landlord from years ago. It also doesn't explain why he was so upset with us. But you already have bad reviews and apparently are a stalker to peoples homes. Good luck with that. read more

Most of our rental experience has been working primarily with the landlords directly. When we rented our home through Allied Pacific, we were nervous at first, but they treated us very well. We always had plenty of notice before they needed to enter the property (such as for checking smoke detectors and such). When we put in maintenance requests, they were dealt with well. We cared for the house as if it was our own, and they allowed us privacy and respect. When we moved out of the home (to buy our first home), we were actually very sad to leave. The neighborhood was wonderful, but we also missed being well cared for as renters. I would recommend their services to just about anyone. read more

This company is ok but don't expect to get all your security deposit back. Be sure you do your move in checklist and that you list every little thing because Allied is not very thorough. They listed a few issues with our rental, missing some very big obvious ones and we had to add those and other issues ourselves, over 50 of them! We would have been charged for all those because you know they would have caught them after we moved out. And expect to wait the full 21 days the law requires to have your deposit returned. Some things you may want to pay close attention to, that we were charged for; We were charged for 3 things which was the carpet, understandable because in the past with other rentals we've hired a professional to clean the carpets when we moved out only to be charged again by the owner so we don't bother anymore. We were charged for a living room blind that was very old and falling apart when we moved in and as time went on it broke more to where we had to tape the slates so our entry window did not look all tore up and then we were charged for another small blind that I have no idea about as we never used those blinds. There were actually other blinds in the house that were damaged when we moved in, so I guess these 2 blinds they charged us for are 2 less they will have to pay for to replace themselves . We actually left the house cleaner than when we got it, besides the carpets. Our master bath shower floor was literally black with dirt when we moved in. I had to scrub that clean myself, and made sure it was super clean on move out. Also, they won't cut you any breaks if you plan to move out on the 1st of the month. If you go even one day past that, expect to pay! Probably will avoid this rental company in the future. read more

I believe Allied Pacific management is a horrible place to rent from, from my own experience. I would not recommend them to anyone. I feel the manager Cassey is dishonest and not trustworthy, from my experience in dealing with him. I was going to write a review a year ago, but decided not to, but something needs to be said about this company.. About a year ago, I was charged $205 for plumbing, which I paid with no questions asked. I was flushing wipes down the toilet without realizing I wasn't supposed to. It did not say anywhere on the lease, or was I ever told to not to flush wipes down the toilet. I didn't realize how bad plumbing is at this apartment complex. I immediately stopped flushing wipes down the toilet! About a month later later they charged me another $150 for the same job, which the plumber had to go back and redo because he didn't do it right the first time!! I told them I wasn't going to pay it, because I shouldn't be responsible for it. Around the same time last year my rent was increased, also. I've always payed my rent on time, and never missed a payment. Today, April 8, 2020 I received a notice saying, I will get evicted if I don't pay the $150 plumbing charge, which it says Is past due rent. I called Allied and talked to Cassey, the manager.. Cassey told me I didn't acknowledge the charge or didn't try to pay it. I told him you know you can't evict me due to the "Coronavirus Pandemic"! Once he realized he messed up and couldn't do that, he retracted his words really quick. He said he didn't know why the letter was sent out, and that it shows I recently payed my rent. The notice was tucked in the back door of my apartment and also sent to me in the mail!! I have the notice with his name on it, signed, and he tries to lie to me and tells me otherwise. Why did it take them over a year for them to send the letter? Only now during this Coronavirus Pandemic. read more

I applied for a house recently with this office and was turned down for a few reasons, my income is workers comp thru my job for an injury and I was told its not considered income BS...so I got a co signer. Both our credit checks and backgrounds past and the income verification passed. Then they did my personal references wich were all positive and my land lord references for the past 5+ years were positive. There is one lady I recently rented from who turned out to be a slumlord and kept me and my little kids trapped in an uninhabitable unit. I had to jump through hoops to get a legal mandatory vacate so that I wouldnt mess up my rental credit as it is one of the most important things for me and my kids. I explained this to the leasing agent at this office and she did such a wonderful job at trying her best to get me and my kids approved for this house in order to get us off the street and out of living in our car. However after promises that they could over look the slumlords bad reference if all of my other references were positive, the manager Cassie turned us down. I pleaded to him and provided all of the documentation possible and even offered more to show him proof of the situation that had happened with the previous slumlord including court papers since we are suing her, and this CASSIE wouldnt even take the time of day to help me and my kids despite his false promises that were relayed to us through his leasing agent. Single mom here, who works hard non stop and needs a little help and this guy is a complete uncaring selfish lier! I unfortunately presented recent approval for section 8 since im injured off work and im pretry sure this is also a discrimination/reason why CASSIE decided to look down on me and my kids. I guess he just thought that I would give up amongst all his constant requests for more paperwork and proof of other references and thought he would get rid of us. I know what discrimination looks and feels like, ive never been treated so disrespectful and un human as CASSIE as made me and my kids feel. Reporting this company and broker! One star because I cant post without one...other wise it would be a negative 100...stay away from this company! read more

Allied Pacific has utterly been the worst experience that a renter like myself has been through. Living during the coronavirus pandemic they have the audacity to raise the rent. Again, they will raise the rent even during times of crisis. They will not maintain the rental property, especially if you live in a home. Fences, trees, paint, and other external features will be completely ignored. I am glad I have moved out because after comparing what another property management company can do for me, I realized I stayed with AP longer than I should have. I'm disappointed and hope that whomever reads this will avoid them like the virus we are facing now. I absolutely do NOT recommend this company if you are looking to rent a property in the Inland Empire. Here's why, over the course of our 2 year rental experience with them: Repairs: good luck. We had seen everything from immediate response to requests for repairs to no response at all, and everything in between. The lack of response to repairs was directly tied to our refund of security deposit, which I'll get to later. The contractor they hire to do their repairs has no listing on the internet, so we are unable to check out their information but take it on Allied's word that they are in good standing to do these repairs. Things such as repairing slot doors which repeatedly become stuck in the walls, repairing a driveway gate which has broken rollers and wood planks coming off, repairing/removing a fence which has an overgrowth of vegetation completely taking over a portion of the property, and myriad other important repairs were either ignored or delayed to the point of no return once the contractor had showed up to complete the repairs. Security deposit: we had thoroughly, I mean, THOROUGHLY, had the house cleaned. We hired a steam cleaning company to clean our carpets. We scrubbed the floors and walls down. Yet, they still felt it necessary to hire a cleaning service which cost around $100. Not to mention, there was no c leaning of the house WHATSOEVER prior to our move in, as we took over the lease immediately from the previous tenants. Finally, they made repairs on a window my dog had damaged. I expected this, as this is what the pet deposit is for. However, I made it plain and clear at least 6 months in advance I wanted to work to get this item repaired. but guess what? no response on that, and no importance given to that item until after our lease was terminated. They decided to hire the same contractor, with a spotty record for making repairs on the property, to do this job and provided only an invoice of the ESTIMATE given for 'repairing the window, painting, and priming'. When I requested an itemized list of the receipt for this job, they failed to do so and refuse to do so. Read up on your California tenant law with these people. It sounds like they try to nickel and dime just up to the point where it isn't worth your time and energy to bring in the legal system to call them out. read more

It was sad that we had to move due to selling of the home, but they helped work with us and the owners to make the transition ease during this pandemic. Tried to assist a family friend applying for an apartment here but when you are dealing with incompetent managers such as Casey who are practicing unfair policies with poor communication skills, you can't do much but to write a bad review. We will certainly deal with their crap the proper way but wanted to warn people how they select who they want as their tenants and their shady practices including discrimination. Of course the deal with any property management business is just how well they respond to requests for service, and how much they take from a deposit when you move out. The thing with allied is we left the home cleaner then we found it and they took over $1,000 for cleaning and repairs when we left. The carpet, they say they had to clean, was much cleaner when we left it because my wife has a commercial cleaner she used regularly on the carpet. Based boards, they say they had to clean, for some reason we're not clean when we moved in, the same with hard water on the shower. Several of the things the stated they paid for were things from service requests we had requested when we lived there, that were never fixed. For instance, a faucet we asked to get fixed but they never did, and vertical blinds that were damaged when we moved in. Over $500 for repairs. They were very thorough when they inspected the house when we left but not thorough at all before we moved in. Convenient for them. I disputed the charges and was refunded about half of them. read more

Let it be known.. Maintenance is a MAJOR issue with Allied. Less than timely and sub par work causing multiple visits is usually the case. At this time I'm currently playing a waiting game on a request I put in almost 2 weeks ago. Still haven't received a phone call to schedule a handyman....CONTINUED FROM DRAFT:::So we called and he randomly showed up while I was asleep. It's nice to be woken up unexpectedly, when you specifically asked for a call to schedule. The guy we spoke to sounds lethargic on the phone so no wonder he didn't call ahead to schedule. Aside from the maintenance issues, renting with allied was interesting. We weren't granted a walk through until we had put a deposit down, and honestly had we not been in a position where we had to accept we would not have gone through with a lease. Fixtures in the building are old, leaky, and in need of replacement. Carpet is fraying at the entryway of the kitchen. These things should be taken care of prior to calling a unit turn-key and handing it over to a renter. The red flags were there, but we ignored it in good faith based on the welcoming demeanor of the staff on the phone and in the office. I would consider all options before putting your name on the dotted line... I will update this upon move out to comment on the deposit issues I've noticed other renters have had. read more

On this day, the 19th of March, during our current ongoing and escalating crisis, Allied Pacific decided to drop off a note, dated and signed, notifying the increase on our rent. The amount of disrespect that was shown is completely uncalled for and despicable behavior considering the situation with the Covid-19. We have not once been late on rent and have respectfully complied with all rent increases prior. However, in this instance, with thousands of people in danger of having no income, shows just what kind of morals and beliefs this management carries. Basically stole our deposit and fabricated lies at the end after we moved out to keep our $1650 deposit. Do not do business with these crooks! They have a policy of doing two walk-throughs (inspections), one while we were there and one after we moved out. The first walk-through we did had just a couple of minor incidents on it, but after we moved out it seems they went through the trouble to fabricate everything they could think of including replacing insulation in the garage, replacing the sink disposal and said we left the place filthy... which is an utter lie seeing how it took us 2 weeks of cleaning before we actually moved out. The place was in better condition than when we moved in. If we had to do it all over again I would steer clear of this business entirely. They will take you for your money whether you like it or not. She took the time to go through a variety of unfamiliar Spanish documents so she could get my application processed ASAP. Other rental companies treat you like you're some kind of low-brow knuckle-dragger and they are Harvard playing god with your housing, rather than understanding that I am the buyer and, without me, they fail. Rachel was personable, flexible, patient, responsive, professional...just treated me the way I'm sure she'd like to be treated, you know. If you're looking for a new place to rent and you're tired of the other companies that never answer the phone, shove a rental application at you before you've even seen their property, no call/no show to your walk-through, etc, please contact these guys.
