I am a first time homebuyer. Equipped with absolutely no knowledge in purchasing a home, I didn't know where to start. I just knew that we were in a "seller's market." With expected life events coming up, I wanted to find a home to call ours.
Simply put, I started the process backwards. I didn't even know the price of home I would qualify for, nor settled on a realtor that would advocate for me during this process (something that is CRUCIAL for those in my position). I did my research and found Roth Real Estate Group through Yelp. It was nothing but glowing reviews, so I made a soft approach through email and received a text from Krystle linking me to Jeff Kack. Jeff was prompt and reached out to me through phone within a couple hours. Jeff invited me out for coffee for a formal introduction, but due to my schedule and admittedly, hesitancy, I delayed the meet and greet until a more opportune time.
Simultaneously, I was perusing Redfin. And a few nights after my initial contact with Jeff, there it was ... a home that was priced just right in the current market. Seeing as how the home was relisted with a decreased price, I needed to jump on it, right? Like the impatient nincompoop that I am, I reached out to Jeff the next morning a little past 8 in the morning requesting to view the home. Jeff hit the ground RUNNING. I was walking alongside Jeff on the property we were interested in purchasing. As it turned out, the home was NOTHING like what was presented on the listing. However, Jeff's eager response and willingness to accommodate to others truly stood out to us.
Ever since that first viewing, Jeff stuck by us until we eventually purchased our home. Jeff constantly sent us new potential listings. If we were interested in a property, Jeff would put in the work to schedule a viewing the very next day. Honestly, 99% of the time, we were waiting on the listing agent to respond back to us. Throughout the entire process, Jeff took care of us as if we were family, and it meant the world to us. He never pushed us into an uncomfortable situation, and gave us all the information we needed to make our own educated decision in eventually purchasing our beautiful home. Additionally, we worked PM shift which would've been an issue with most other realtors. But Jeff took our work commitments with grace, fully respecting our sleep and patiently waited for us to rest up and get the process moving smoothly.
My experience with the rest of the Roth team was similar. When Jeff was predisposed, Madeline tapped in and showed us a property that we were interested in. Kaitlin was a godsend, handling all the administrative responsibilities. She BROKE IT DOWN, allowing me to fully track what was next on our agenda and what I needed to do to meet all deadlines with ease. And Krystle was great enough to personally talk us through a small issue we ran into with our loan company. It is apparent that she has a wealth of knowledge, along with a strong network among the community which truly worked out in our favor. Krystle has done an outstanding job in leading her team to the sterling example of what a realty group should be and how it should operate, on trust and integrity.
I can keep raving, but it's time to get off my soap box. For those that are in the market but unsure if you should reach out, or those that have run into issues with unresponsive/undedicated realtors, look no further ... The Roth Real Estate Group are the individuals that you are looking for. Jeff and the rest of the team have made our home purchase an enjoyable experience, and despite the current state of the housing market, I am EXTREMELY satisfied with my purchase. Jeff, words cannot express how grateful we are ... Thank you so much for everything, my man.
