I NEEDED to write this follow-up to my previous review. Seeing as how Berkshire Hathaway's response was, "Enough Said." Once I hired another property management company, my condo rented in TWO DAYS!!!! Berkshire Hathaway wasted my valuable time. They should have simply turned me away as a customer, instead of showing me their complete lack of professionalism. Now..."Enough Said." read more

Michelle and Perrie are the best team in Real Estate in the Redlands area. They are willing to go above and beyond to assist you as the client to get your home sold for Top Dollar. One of the things that I loved most was how easy it was to communicate with them. They explained the process and listen to my concerns, they negotiated the best deal and truly created a Win-Win for us and for the buyer. If you want to sell your home or you are looking to buy a home contact them and you will be impressed by how knowledgeable they are. Thanks again and look forward to working with you in the future. read more

Best real estate experience ever! I came across The Perrie Mundy Group by chance and could not have been happier! The staff is exceptional and listened to my needs. They truly worked as a team from beginning to end. I will be suggesting them to all my friends and recommend them to everyone I meet! So easy to buy and sell a home with them. You can't go wrong choosing them for all your real estate needs! They even have a property management division if you are looking to rent your home or looking for a place to rent. read more

Unscrupulous real estate listing agent who lie and aren't trustworthy ..would rather have a root canal than deal with them

Nice and all that but makes you nervous as hell. They brought a elderly couple to view our home and let them look in my personal stuff. I am in the process of packing so they should let them look not touch. The agent didn't know anything about our property. Nor did she call our agent first. So long story short it was horrible, and creepy. Can't wait to sell .. it's fully furnished and only 89.000. read more

Spoke with Perrie Mundy herself today. What a horrible 5 minutes! I'm surprised that a real estate agent can be this rude. This must be her real personality. She called at 7AM, rambled on about a house I enquired about 3 weeks ago. When I needed clarification on "exactly which house?' (guess what! Buyers are looking at more than your 1 listing!) she became abrupt and hung up. Why anyone would list their home for sale with a "salesperson" like this, with no real ability or wish to establish rapport with a buyer, is beyond me. read more

I must start by saying that the Perrie Mundy Group manages some pretty great properties, but their overall attitude and practice when it comes to leasing is absolutely unacceptable and not worth the stress they will cause you. If you are looking to rent or buy a home, look elsewhere. This company will act like they care about your needs until you sign the paperwork. Perhaps my experience can paint a better picture of their lack of professionalism. A lease two friends and I had with them recently ended. As soon as I signed the lease last year, PMG started to show their lack of respect and professionalism right off the bat. The PMG refused to respond to several requests to correct issues in the house including the painting of the trim of the house to fit the standards of the HOA, replacing the light bulbs that were out upon move in, repairing a broken screen window, and repairing the vent above the stove. They took months to remove a children's play house from the back yard brought from the previous occupant of the house and another couple of months to remove a dingy desk they left in the house after we moved in. There were also several issues with the sprinkler system that were not tended to until the entire yard flooded leaving us with a ridiculous water bill that the PMG refused to take responsibility for. Towards the end of our lease, matters got worse as the Perrie Mundy Group lost our move in move out paper work and told us that we never turned it in. They took half of our security deposit and have refused to send me receipts to show proof of their payment for any deductions. What is worse is that they returned whatever remained of the deposit to one of my housemates' guarantor who had no connection to me. The owner of the company, Kerry Spelman, wouldn't allow us time to negotiate how much each party should get back after saying that she would. I also told Kerry that I did not consent to said guarantor receiving any portion of my deposit since the lease clearly stated that he was only a guarantor to the one tenant. Her response was condescending and rude. She went ahead and gave him the entire deposit anyway. It has now been 5 weeks and I am yet to receive my deposit which is illegal according to California civ code. My word of advice is that if you are looking for a company to manage your property or to lease from, Perrie Mundy is not it. They show a serious lack of respect and diligence when dealing with clients and should be heavily monitored and reported. read more

Ms. Perrie Mundy called my cell phone (out of the blue) while I was on vacation. I had no idea who she was or how she got my number. She wanted to sell my house in Redlands. I told her that the house was not ready to sell as I still had several very large improvement projects to complete to make it much more suitable to buyers. She told me right then not to proceed with my projects, as she would show me a cheaper, more cost effective way to proceed. I was extremely skeptical, as I knew nothing about her and real estate agents, in most cases, are totally inept when it comes to renovation construction projects. She wanted to view our home immediately. I pushed her off for a month figuring she would go away. Thereafter, she started calling me and leaving messages (over 12 times) and not taking no for an answer. It was like she was stalking us. The last time I told her I would schedule a time in a couple days when we would have time to clean up the house. She stated that I did not have to clean up my home and that she was coming over immediately and hung up without allowing me to protest. She shows up to my house 10 minutes later with 2 strange men. Ms. Mundy had a business card but the men had no identification. She aggressively pushed me for a tour, so I gave them a quick tour of our home. The 2 men wandered around my home while I spoke to Ms. Mundy, which really concerned me. Afterwards, she said that they would put an analysis together and get back to me about their approach. Later my wife was extremely upset when she heard about what Ms. Mundy had done. I called Ms. Mundy a couple of weeks later and left her a voice message giving her my name and asking her about my home analysis, as I had not heard from her. This is where it gets really weird. She calls me back and asked for me by my name but does not know who I am so I give her my address and she has no idea what house I am talking about. After a couple more minutes she finally figures out who I am. She states to me that my house requires more work to make it flow better (exactly what I told from the start), insults me (I won't repeat the insult here) and hangs up on me. She then calls me back 2 minutes later and asks for me by my name. I told her that we had just talked and she immediately hangs up on me. To a reasonable person, based on her above actions, Ms. Mundy would be considered an extremely aggressive, rude, abrasive, arrogant, incoherent and/or absent minded real estate agent licensed in the State of California. A reasonable person might also consider her actions to be a means to determine the content of a persons house. In any case or scenario her actions are very scary to me and my wife. Our advice is to stay completely away from this real estate agent when selling our buying a home. Neil Clifton read more

Perrie is knowledgeable, positive and extremely hard working. She's as good as it gets!!

I recently moved into one of their apartments and the process was so smooth! I love the unit I live in and my neighbors are very nice. The main office is located in a beautiful Victorian House that was turned into a business unit for Perry Mundy Group. Everyone that works there is very friendly and fun to talk with. They always are interested in what fun things you have been up to and how I'm liking my place. I walk in to pay rent or ask a question and I instantly feel like I'm visiting family or close friends. I highly recommend leasing through them. read more

Great experience using them for a rental. Very professional. Would definitely use them again.

The Perrie Mundy Group was a fantastic group to work with! I ONLY work with the TOP agents when selling my homes. Perrie and her team were simply OUTSTANDING! They went above and beyond my high expectations in the way they creatively advertised and promoted our home. We found them approachable and available when we had questions. They communicated exceedingly well regarding the status of our listing, the negotiation process, and the escrow steps. PLUS, I am absolutely convinced that no one could have sold our home for a higher sales price. Who could ask for more?!? As a result, I can highly recommend them for anyone looking to sell or buy a home. We were extremely pleased! read more

My husband and I moved here a year ago and being new to the area found PMG to help us locate a rental home. We found a property they had listed and signed the documents and were moved in within a week. We've had some issues with the property but each time we called them to resolve these issues they responded promptly and professionally. We would recommend Kerry Spelman and her colleagues if you are in the market for a rental home in Redlands. read more

Perrie mundy was horrible to deal with. She was rude and very unprofessional. DO NOT go to her. She yelled at me in the phone, and caused me to lose out on a great house. I regret dealing with her. read more

This management company, as a previous reviewer noted, presents itself fairly well "until the paperwork is signed." The entirety of our experience is much too long to go into here, but as a former tenant I would like to warn you that if our experience is any indication you can expect to wait for your deposit to be returned well beyond the time allowed by California. We just now received word that "the check is being mailed" after thirtynine days of waiting. By the time it gets to us, they will have exceeded the legal requirement by 20 DAYS (they must return it within 21 days). The ostensible reason given for this delay? They were "finding out if the refrigerator could be repaired." Backstory: When we moved in we requested in writing that the 40 year old appliance be removed so we could use our own; they stated we would have to move it into the garage ourselves as the owners are out of state and "had nowhere else to put it." They also stated we would need to move it back in upon moving out. So we used the owner's appliance until one day the cord caught fire. By the way, it explicitly stated in our lease that the "appliances on the premises are not under warranty" and that the "owners will not be responsible for repair." However, the management company did choose to repair it. Then it broke again, this time leaking everywhere and not cooling. Again, they repaired it. The third time it stopped cooling, we simply did what they had suggested to begin with, we cleaned it out, unplugged it, and moved the thing into the garage and used our own. Upon moving out, when they discovered the appliance had been in the garage because it wasn't functioning, they expressed surprise and concern, interrogating me as to why we hadn't called them to have it repaired. In short, their excuse these 5 weeks + for holding our deposit was that they "needed to have the appliance evaluated to see if it could still be repaired and to determine if we have any financial responsibility for it." Wow. That's getting very creative as a means of holding $2000 for five weeks, accruing interest in their account. Take a look at the number of properties they manage and do the math. Just two problems, Perrie Mundy Group: We are not all as clueless as your operating principles would seem to assume, and your hubris (look it up) not to mention karma will catch up to you when you find yourself in court, hard pressed to explain why you have not acted in good faith, and perhaps paying the injured party the penalty allowed in California, twice the amount of the original deposit. I recently moved out of a house I rented through PMG. The initial meeting and correspondence was pleasant. And then...the refrigerator went out. For 14 days. I emailed, called, everything. I finally had to threaten to take it out of my lease and contact my own company to come fix it. I lost hundreds of dollars in food that went bad and even more in ordering at restaurants. I got a rude email that said the owners couldn't afford to fix it. I felt bad for them, but at the same time not my problem. It was finally resolved and I never once asked for reimbursement for all the food. I paid $38 a month for an exterminator because they didn't provide one after I sent a picture of one of the black widows (the size of a quarter) that was in residence in the garage. I paid to replace the kitchen faucet ($89) and dealt with a broken dishwasher because after the refrigerator I didn't want to deal with them again. I paid my rent in full every month on the first of the month and never EVER deducted what I spent. End story: They took out $3 for a light bulb that burnt out. And charged me $17.50 in labor for...something because I wasn't provided a list, I replaced two light bulbs before I even moved in, didn't charge PMG anything. AND....I didn't receive my refund within the 21 days as stated by CA law. Run, do not walk away from their front door. read more

This real estate agency acted as the seller's agent for a home we recently purchased. Her agent did not do her due diligence before listing the home and therefore listed it for too little to cover costs. We, with our agent, viewed the home and placed a full price offer which was accepted. A week or two into escrow we started to get reports from our agent that the seller's agent wanted to cancel the contract. We had completed all of our due diligence items and had money out of pocket to cover these expenses. This broker and her agent were extremely rude and did everything they legally could to get us to cancel our contract. This was our dream home. We did not want to lose this home. This broker and her agent even made the escrow extend a few days longer because they failed to secure the termite completion! We had everything signed and were ready to close and they held it up!!!! I will NEVER recommend this agent or this broker to anyone. They made the experience horrendous! They made the mistake of not doing their due diligence and then tried to make us pay for the mistake they made! Thank goodness we had an amazing buyer's agent that had to fight for us every step of the way. read more
