I made an appointment to get my roots touched up with this salon after seeing that it was the…read morehighest rated salon in the town I just moved to. I was really looking forward to my appointment because not only did I make it for a root touch up, but I wanted an even brighter blonde than I already had. I get to my appointment, and the stylist quickly got started on bleaching my hair. The stylist put lots of bleach on my hair, her applying the bleach on my hair ALONE, took 2 hours. Everything was fine until she toned my bleached hair. I used to do my blonde hair myself at one point, so I know that toner sometimes dries super dark but leaves a beautiful blonde finish. I noticed the toner dried jet black. At that point, I began to worry. When she washed the toner out, my worst fears had been confirmed. The stylist had done the exact opposite of what I asked for. It was honestly a nightmare. I come in for a root touch up, and end up with my entire head looking like the root I wanted to touch up. My thing was, how are you going to douse my head in bleach and my whole head is black! I sat in the chair and cried as she did my blowout. When I told the stylist that I didn't like it, and that it wasn't what I asked for at all, she really looked in my face and told me she "fixed" my hair! Unbelievable! When it was time to pay I expressed how absolutely horrified I was at my hair. After having me sit down for about 15 minutes, maybe a little less, I told them I would pay as long as I can come back and get my hair fixed. They gave me a time for two days later and I went. I put this bad experience behind me and was looking forward to seeing the result. You can see the result for yourself. The new stylist that did my hair didn't even finish the blowout. This is one of the worst, if not the worst salon experience i've ever had. I will say there were other blondes getting their roots done, and theirs came out beautifully. I'm sad I didn't get those stylists. I will be going to sally's next time and doing my hair myself because I will not be coming back to jagged edges salon. Jagged edges indeed.
