I've been a regular customer for 10+ years and have loved watching their business grow. I regularly see Kim W. for eyebrow waxing and she is so talented---a true artist! She always makes me feel comfortable, beautiful and happy. I look forward to my appointments with her not just because of how it makes me look but because I love just chatting with her! I've also tried the 'lash lift' with Kim and love it, I couldn't believe the difference it made. The website answers any and all questions about your cut, color, or wax in advance, with a demystifying FAQ page and a full before and after care list. My service was ~30 minutes long and I felt totally comfortable for the duration. Nitty Gritty goes out of their way to ensure their salon is an LGBTQ+ safe space - there's specific information on waxing if you're transitioning, an ask for pronouns at the time of registration, and a truly welcoming atmosphere for all. This alone will keep me coming back and supporting, but the fact that the service is so top notch is a nice added bonus. The reviews don't lie, Nitty Gritty is the best.
