Got a prompt call, but we ended up getting the needed help from a mobile MDOT safety truck. Was just an empty gas tank and a faulty gas gauge. Three gallons of gas and we were on our way before the tow truck could arrive. "Whew" They were very understanding and cancelled the call, but glad to hear we were safe. I give them credit, they were willing to help out on a Sunday night to get us to safety. The one down side was they could have only taken one of the three of us in the tow truck. The stated regular rate was $5/mile plus toll charges. Thats reasonable for a weekend, off hour call. I noted that Heads-up Recovery is NOT identified as a BBB Accredited Business. They are reported to have three trucks. The BBB Rating at time of review was: "C" due to "Failure to respond to 1 complaint(s) filed against the business." I'd say they are worth a try, and hope they can succeed. Towing cars can be a difficult business.
