Assorted slices --- & I had eaten 2 pieces already!!
Dawna M.

Another GREAT find on the TOO GOOD TO GO APP.. so for under $5, Steve's Pizza offers a small pizza box FILLED with assorted pizza slices & cheesy breadsticks left over from their lunch buffet. I have purchased this several times & every time I receive good, still pretty warm yummy pizza. The staff is always friendly, there's never a wait & parking is always great. The restaurant is pretty spacious & there is usually a few people at the bar, nothing crazy.. Dinner might be loud as pizza places can get.. Their pizza is pretty good, fresh veggies, good salami, Pepperoni, sausage & the B.B.Q Chicken pizza is really good also. They offer pastas also. They have a happy hour from 3pm - 6pm Monday - Friday & the lunch buffet from 11am -2pm serving all you can eat pizza, bread sticks, salad & soda for $13.99. I really like this place!!

Burnt pizza. Yuck

I do not understand what people see in this place. Last night was the third and last time we ordered food from here. Every time the food was horrible. Burnt pizza and a $21.00 sandwich that had three tiny meatballs in it drowning in sauce. How does this place stay open?

Outstanding, above and beyond your normal pizzeria. Must check these guys out! Saw this place on a different site, decided to come and check it out; They have a lunch buffet, which, with better planning, I would've ate that and came back later for dinner. Restaurant was fairly empty inside when I arrived just after noon, with a section blocked off for a large party coming in at 5. Service was fast, cashier was friendly and patient. Ordered a Medium El Dorado Pizza (I originally intended to eat later) - and a Philly Cheesesteak. Opening the Philly cheesesteak box and looking down at it I was a little skeptical at first, but MMAANN, where do I start Philly cheesesteak didn't look like it was cut, but tore right down the middle very easily as if the inside was cut before putting it together (beautiful). Every bite was flavorful, the right amount of sauce/cheese/meats/pepper, everything! Phenomenal! El Dorado Pizza, was a unique flavor that took me a bite or two to understand, but also very flavorful, savory, and unique. Shout out to whoever curated this dish, it is next level.

Just wanted to add a few photos to update my review. Always fresh toppings and well-baked. Pepperoni is a bit spicy just so you know. They're pretty quick with getting orders completed unless there's a large party or it's Friday or Saturday. Worth the wait! Lots of TVs going and conversations going on when it's busy,

Visited this place because we were given a gift card as a welcome to EDH. Let me start with the positive. The wings had a really good flavor and were cooked well and we enjoyed them. Best part of the experience. The salad was good and fresh and also a positive. Now for the not so good. The service. As we ordered and as we asked for utensils we were looked at like, "are you serious? Ugh. I don't want to work here but I have to" attitude and facial expressions. I would say to the point almost unprofessional. We walked in a bit about 1:45pm and there was dirty plates all over the place and food on tables. Probably the worst we have experienced in EDH as far as service and as far as cleanliness. The ambiance was restaurant\bar\or hangout to watch a game ambiance. I would say, since I live in the area will probably only be back for the wings but hoping the service is much better.

We did the Pete's Steakhouse salad, lots of toppings and you can order the steak cooked to your preference and it's not skimpy. The Buffalo Chicken salad was well spices and great for toppings, fresh! For the kids - Buffalo Chicken Sandwich was good, chicken is tender and sauce is great. Maybe a little less slaw per my kiddo but he is a kiddo..!! Pete's Brewhouse Burger, was cooked well... juicy and ample sized... fries with both and they are too notch, fresh, hot, decent portions. And a small build your own pizza! The pizza dough tastes fresh, medium thick, and good number of toppings too. Service was attentive and patient with indecisive child. Accurate about timing so we knew we would be out in time for our movie. Waitress checked back in on us several times but didn't hover and let us add to order later when one kiddo couldn't figure it out - thanks for that! Ambiance is nice. Quiet enough, music playing old songs that are familiar. TVs with captions that aren't overwhelming. The restaurant is clean and well lit but not overly bright. Like the vibe. My burger was medium, no pink but I was starving so I ate it anyways. For a $21 burger, it was so not worth it. It wasn't worth it for us to eat there too.. Will I come back again, probably not...

A gentleman greeted me and mentioned that I was a little early and that they were just finishing up my order, which would be ready at 12. No problem at all, so I waited. However, I started noticing orders coming out for people who had walked in and ordered after me. By 12:10, I still didn't have my order and around 12:20, the gentleman came over and apologized, saying he wasn't sure how they had missed my order but that they were still working on it. That was frustrating because when I first walked in, I was told they were already finishing up my order. I specifically scheduled my pickup a day ahead, so I expected it to be ready around the scheduled time. I didn't end up receiving my order until 12:26 PM almost 30 minutes after my pickup time. At the very least, I feel like they could have offered some type of compensation for the wait, especially since the order had somehow been missed. Unfortunately, nothing was offered and the whole situation left me pretty disappointed. Now, I will give credit where it's due.. the pizza was SUPER delicious! The slices are huge and definitely give you that New York style pizza feel. The ranch was also creamy and really good. I genuinely enjoyed the food, which is why I'm torn about my experience. The food itself was great, but because of how poorly the scheduled pickup was handled, I'm not sure how I feel about coming back or placing another scheduled order.

The staff were super friendly and professional from the start, and the restaurant itself is really nice inside. The dim lighting gives it a cozy dinner vibe, and it was cool being able to watch them make and stretch the dough through the kitchen windows. We ordered a variety of dishes to share, so we got to try a little bit of everything. The focaccia came out thick and fluffy with olive oil and balsamic for dipping, which was a nice start. The bone marrow presentation was interesting and came with beef tartare and chips which were super appetizing. The light chips were very light which I enjoyed. The meatballs were HUGE and covered in sauce and plenty of cheese, but flavor wise they were just okay for me. One of the meatballs was super burnt and dry. We also tried a few pastas, including the carbonara and some of the red sauce pastas. They looked great and definitely didn't hold back on the cheese, but overall the pasta wasn't anything I'd say was to die for. It was good, just nothing that really stood out. The pizza was probably one of the better things we ordered the crust was nicely charred and fluffy, there were plenty of toppings, and I'm glad they weren't stingy with the ranch. Overall, I'd give it 3 stars. Nothing was necessarily bad, and the service and atmosphere were both great, but for the food and prices I was expecting a little more of a wow factor. We had a nice dinner and enjoyed trying everything, but is this somewhere I'd randomly start craving and have to come back to? Probably not. Still worth trying at least once if you're already in the area and in the mood for Italian.

Since then, we've made it a little tradition to come back here for each other's birthdays, which says a lot about how much we enjoy the place. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is that you have to order as soon as you walk in. It can feel a little rushed, especially when you're standing right in the middle of the walkway trying to figure out what everyone wants. We ended up deciding to sit outside, and the scenery was beautiful and made for a really nice atmosphere. The service wasn't bad, but it also wasn't the best. We were probably checked on only once during our visit, so there was definitely room for improvement in that area. However, the food was good and that's what keeps bringing us back. I definitely recommend the Buffalo Chicken Pizza without the bacon. It's one of my favorites! The prices are a little on the higher side, but considering the size of the pizza and the portions you get, I think it's definitely worth it. Overall, it's become one of our birthday traditions, and we'll definitely keep coming back.

As well as reading Yelp reviews. Finding myself in Cameron Park with food on my mind, I thought of Wally's. Why not! My GF made an exit off Highway 50 and voilà, there it was a block down the street. Not the small, intimate pizza place I expected. I don't even know where that thought came from. It is huge... really huge! The second we walked through the door, it was obvious everyone was having fun. Nice! We were greeted immediately and given our choice of where was left to sit. It was packed. We chose a cool table for two slightly elevated facing the entire 2/3 front of the restaurant (where we had entered.). And we immediately noticed all the tvs positioned on the perimeter of the walls interior. It was evening and lights were dimmed perfectly. Whatta great view of "everything, everyone and everywhere". Sweet waitperson arrives immediately and takes drink orders. I love a business that takes your alcohol needs seriously!:) We ordered a BBQ chicken pizza. (A perfect recreation of my favorite pizza from Base Camp Pizza in Tahoe... read my review LOL.) Oh my... so much to choose from! Check out my menu pics! The food/wine was a 10! I had a great pinot. So a big high five from me. The pizza was phenomenal and piece by piece it disappeared during our conversation and frivolity. Four thumbs up! Oh... there's more. They do weekend breakfast and brunch! I want that. Check out that menu photo too. So... in conclusion I highly recommend Wallys Pizza Bar for a good time. The bar, btw, was located behind us so not in our view. But it was packed. And with their own set of big screens! Family friendly and big parking lot. Trust me... I will be back. Thanks, Chef!
