The job included designing/redoing our frontyard bed, installing downspouts, building a 330 square foot backyard patio bordered by a dry creek, installing natural stone steps leading up to the patio, and designing/executing new backyard landscape beds. Our backyard - which is on a slope and not a huge space to begin with - looks out onto a shared driveway. Given that, my wife and I struggled with how to create a sense of privacy in our backyard without having a fence installed. Of all the professionals we met with initially, Ben, our Project Manager and Connor, who did a lot of the design work, had the clearest vision of how to get it done. Both were mindful and in tune with what was important to my wife and I. Both were creative in working within the parameters of our space to deliver what is in my opinion, the very best job that anyone could have done. Big credit to the the teams that came out and did the work as well, Cheto included. The results are stunning and my wife and I couldn't be happier.

Snow removal was difficult due to the amount of snow and the icing that followed combined with extreme cold. Lorfax streets provided additional challenges. I had the pleasure of meeting Eswin Yanes Perez who was working as a plow operator. Eswin, despite having worked long days under difficult conditions, committed to clearing Wells Road. Eswin took pride in his craft and cleared the road all the while taking care not to block in driveways! A fantastic job by Eswin, and Independence Landscaping. As a realtor in the area, I have opportunity to recommend companies to clients and often find myself in a position to recommend landscapers and similar professionals. If the entire company is as good as Eswin, Independence is on the top of my list!

Absolute Tree was one of the quickest to respond and also with the fairest quote. They also came highly recommended from my neighbor, so I decided to go with them. The whole process was smooth. Ashley, the owner, was quick to respond and clear in his communication. Abraham, the team leader/climber ultimately responsible for the job was friendly, genuine, 100% professional, and went beyond the call of duty. The team was hyper aware of their surroundings (my backyard) - taking care to not damage anything. While not required, I chose to be home and observe the work. From start to finish the job was completed in a very professional and organized manner. Clearly not their first rodeo. If I ever needed more tree work done I'd go back to them in a heart beat. There were also several issues with the work, particularly with the painting and French drain, that required additional attention. Another major concern was the amount of payment requested upfront, especially considering the delays and issues that followed. The lack of a clear warranty or meaningful follow-up support also added to the frustration when problems came up. I really wanted the project to go smoothly, and I believe Ryan has good intentions, but the execution and project management need significant improvement. Better communication, organization, realistic timelines, and stronger accountability for the completed work would make a big difference. I hope Ryan takes this feedback constructively and improves these areas, because the experience could have been much better.

He was professional and able to solve the problems we had with ease. He put sod in the backyard and seeded, fertilized, aerated, and sprayed the weeds in the front yard. He worked efficiently with a deadline that we had in mind. He has visited to mow the lawn and frequently checks in on its upkeep-going above and beyond what was expected. He provided us with advice for fixing a French drain that was not working properly. He walked us through the process of setting up our own sprinkler system. The sod in the back looks beautiful and thick and the front lawn has made a great comeback and is also thick and green. I would recommend Lawn Rescue 911 for anyone looking to fix or maintain their lawn.

Very Disappointing Experience With NuLeaf…read more We gave NuLeaf multiple chances, but after two years of problems with their treatments and the way they handled our concerns, I cannot recommend them. Last year, we had brand-new sod installed. A NuLeaf employee applied nitrogen using a red Solo cup to measure the product, and our new sod was burned. We ended up paying out of pocket to repair the damage. Despite that, we gave them another chance. This year, they treated our already heat-stressed lawn during a period when temperatures were reaching 90-103°F. Afterward, we had significant browning and damage. We contacted the product manufacturer ourselves and were advised against stacking treatments around extreme 100°F heat. Instead of seriously investigating our concerns, NuLeaf became defensive. Most unbelievably, when we provided pictures of the damage, they questioned whether our photos were AI-generated. We weren't asking them to blindly accept blame--we wanted them to look at what was applied, the weather conditions, the manufacturer's guidance, and the damage. Instead, they dismissed our concerns and ultimately terminated our service rather than continue discussing the issue. Mistakes happen. How a company treats a customer when something goes wrong says a lot. After paying ourselves to repair damage last year and then being treated this way when we raised concerns this year, we will not use NuLeaf again.

Brian Richards Tree Service saved my cat and my marriage!…read more Okay, so the second part was more of a joke, but I was REALLY mad at my husband for leaving the sliding door open...only for all of our pets to wander off in different directions. One of our dogs chased our one-eyed runt of a black cat (who cannot see very well out of the one eye she has) up a tree at dusk. She made it about 60 feet up? There was no reaching her and she was stuck. No, she would not have been able to climb down on her own. We assessed the situation thoroughly. Do not judge or assume. Anyway, I digress. Our friend got in touch with this company and they were willing to come out with their climbing gear. That night, in a little under two hours, they scooped the little girl up in a pillow case and we got her safely inside. As soon as that happened, my anger dissipated, and I could think clearly again. These guys were down to earth, friendly, funny, and all around decent human beings. They actually cared. They didn't scoff on the phone like the others. No I will not name the others, because these guys are the only ones I want to give my energy and attention to. I will be calling them in the future to have a couple trees taken care of.
