Both quoted prices that ranged from $6800 to $11,000 for a leak repair in our water service line. The $11,000 quote was just so egregiously dishonest that to this day I still find hard to believe. I won't get into all the details but to summarize: we had water leaking onto lawn and down to street; two people came to house and without any problem-solving other than walking around basement and commenting on things unrelated to our problem told us it would be $11,000 to replace our water supply line. I said that a previous company quoted us $6800 (that's another story) and they left. They called back and said that their manager said they would now reduce their quote to the $6000 range! Just like that. No analysis, no attempt to understand the problem, just arbitrary BS... charging what the traffic will bear. Long story short: WSSC came to our house and diagnosed the problem as a leak in the line that is NOT our responsibility B/C of its location and it will be repaired at no cost to us. The company is named Catons Plumbing and they should not be allowed to do business. Period. And, I wrote their manager before writing this review, to give him an opportunity to explain to me how so a thing can take place. Needless to say, I have not heard back. BUYER BEWARE!

Had AC problems recently, which is not good at this time of year. Put out a project request, Reyes H&C responded saying they could be here the next morning. They showed up, saw it was a blown capacitor and a dying fan. They replaced the capacitor, which saved us from sweating another night, and ordered a new fan. They came back this morning and replaced it. The newer one sounds quieter, pushes air bit better. The price was very fair, I have no complaints. It also came with a 7-month warranty, IIRC that just covers parts but I could be wrong. Overall I'm pleased with the results. This is one less concern off my shoulders.

I called Peddicord plumbing and was told they couldn't come back for almost another week. I spoke with their manager Patricia and was told that even though I just paid $729.00 they were too busy to come out and fix a job that wasn't completed . I am a senior on a fixed income. I called WSSC to come check the county lines which they came right out. They said the lines were fine and that Peddicord plumbing did an incomplete job. I was also told that The plumbing company should submit an Off-Property Report Request for my Address. I feel like I was taken advantage of when the Peddicord Plumbing Manager Patricia told me they would have to send 2 plumbers and other equipment and charge me more money for the same work they didn't complete. I paid $729.00 for incomplete work. I was also told they don't guarantee cleared drains but never told me that or the cost before they started the job. They advertise that that have a workmanship guarantee. Seniors beware of this company.
