Nathan and his crew helped me when I was stranded on the side of the road, Brad a service tech there pulled up beside me and offered me a hand to their shop, as i was stranded on the side of County 7 . From there the family took care of me while I was also not familiar with the area, it was Friday evening before Labor day weekend and they took my Truck , which just decided to stop driving and assure me they would take good care of it for me over labor day weekend. They communicated with me throughout the entire ordeal, checked over everything, took care of the issue they caught & had it ready by that Tuesday. I said again I'm not from that area, but just from telling some friends from my area this story (Rush NY) they have decided to take their vehicles there for maintenance. This normally involves everything that is checked during a state safety inspection, but with additional checks on the functionality of the vehicle and its systems (electrical, cosmetics, etc). I requested an engine compression test, and was told it would involve more time, which was fine. What I received: 10 photos of the undercarriage and two lines about the seller being old and needing to sell. No start. No compression test. No other photos. No evidence anything else had been examined. Chris was polite and apologetic, and he did adjust the invoice, but I was left with no clear idea about the vehicle, despite paying for exactly that service.

But I had been dreading the inspection and the oil change. We had JUST found a mechanic we liked in the last area, and then we moved. And y'all know how hard it is to find a trustworthy mechanic! I have also had a check engine light popping on and off for months, something I was worried would cost a lot of money and time to fix, and possibly prevent us from passing our yearly inspection. A family member recommended King's Auto Service. She swore up and down that they were the best! So after calling a few other local places I called King's. I liked them immediately because they were the first place to tell me that they could not give a set quote for the work we needed - it may take less or more time, and it may not be a part that has to be replaced at all, it could be something less complicated like a clog. They seemed friendly and knowledgeable. So I made the appointment and waited about 2 weeks to bring the car in. When I dropped it off the check engine light had disappeared AGAIN. But they were able to get to the bottom of it anyway (it was just a quick wiring fix and did not need to be replaced after all), give us the oil change, perform the inspection, and replace a couple of bulbs in no time at all. And the cost was reasonable! I also want to add that they have the cheapest oil changes I have seen in quite a while, a whopping $20 less than every other place I have checked. So far we are definitely happy customers, and we plan to go back for any other work the car may need. (Hopefully not TOO soon though!) Highly recommend!

He's taken good care of many of our family for years. I've gone in with a problem I feared would cost hundreds of dollars only to be summoned back with a loose wire and no charge. This shop is VERY busy. Honesty and good work is the reason. It may take several days to get your car an appointment, but you'll know that you and your car are in good hands.

His prices were fair and he answered all of my questions. I love how honest he is and how he called me to provide updates. He didn't have a part in store for my oil change and called me to provide me with the option to go elsewhere or wait until he could get a new part. I decided to wait because I trusted him. I had a service B performed on my Mercedes and asked that he also check my entire car to see if there was anything else that needed to be repaired. He later called me, found that my rear breaks were worn and provided me with a quote of the cost and I asked if he could replace them. On the day I picked up my car, Jerry was very friendly and took time to explain everything to me and even helped me replace my car license plates and put on my registration sticker. I highly recommend him if you're trying to find a diligent, honest and patient mechanic. I will continue to bring my car back to him and recommend him to my friends and family.
