My father was exiled from his country after takeover by a brutal dictator, and he could never go home again. It's a place where exercising your right to free speech can mean death. So, seeing this painting mocking the free press and gloating over a man who literally proclaimed himself an American dictator on day 1 brought all that sorrow back.
