We had a steady talk about what I'd been experiencing, and they were realistic about next steps. They gave me a few different directions we could take and left the decision mostly up to me. It felt balanced and not over the top. I think they were knowledgeable without sounding like they had all the answers. I left with a few things to work on and I'll see how that goes. Not an amazing visit but definitely not bad either.

This review is long overdue…read more Over 12 years ago, I had a breast augmentation performed by Dr Struck, and it resulted in severe capsular contracture and some of the worst scarring I have ever seen. He placed 550cc implants through the nipple, and I was left with horrendous thick scars that affected me physically and emotionally for years. What makes this even more upsetting is that I have since had my implants redone by a different surgeon and did NOT experience the same complications, excessive scarring, or poor outcome. That alone confirmed for me that what I went through the first time was not "normal healing" or simply bad luck. I understand surgery always carries risk, but there is a difference between unavoidable complications and careless surgical work. I spent years feeling insecure, uncomfortable, and frustrated over results that should never have happened to the extent they did. I would strongly warn anyone considering procedures with this doctor to do extensive research and think carefully before trusting him with your body. I genuinely wish I had gone to someone else the first time.

Clinic highly recommended by a friend who had a surgical procedure at the Palo Alto location…read more Called to schedule a consultation, initial booking via text message then call very easy, paid $175. consultation fee at time of booking. 3 days prior to appointment I received a text reminder and then another reminder 1 day prior. I arrived to clinic around 2:50pm for my 3pm appointment. Was taken into room at around 3pm and was told to wait. At around 3:12pm, I walk to reception to ask how much longer and was told that Heidi was "finishing up her appointment" so I go back to room and wait for another 15 minutes. At 3:28pm, I walk back out to reception to let them know I cannot wait any longer and begin to queue outside the bathroom which is next to the reception desk. At this point, I see Heidi escorting her client out to the reception desk. I hear the receptionist tell her that her 3pm client has been waiting and Heidi responds "I wasn't told she was here" or something along those lines. I then proceed to follow Heidi into the room to collect my coat/purse to leave and Heidi is super aloof not apologetic in any shape or form and says "well I am available now if you are able to stay" and I reply "No, I have been waiting for 30 minutes. I was told if I was 10 to 15 minutes late that my appointment would be rescheduled but it's OK for you to be 30 minutes late???" As I was walking out, not one person made an effort to explain the tardiness, apologies for the inconvenience nor offer me an alternative solution or at least a refund for the consultation fee. Someone behind the reception desk did make sure to say "Thank you so much, Sasha!" Three days later, still no calls from L&P but I did receive a follow up email. Just got off phone with answering service requesting a refund,. Received a call back from receptionist within 5 minutes, they left voicemail stating refund has been processed. Again, no apology, no effort to rectify situation. Your time means nothing to them.

I spoke with five different surgeons in the Bay Area and she really stood out for her professionalism. More so than any other surgeon, my consult with her felt like a medical appointment as opposed to a sales pitch. She went into my medical history and went to great lengths to understand the results I wanted to achieve, especially as a smaller person trying not to go too big. She was honest, patient, and highly informed and willing to go into great detail about the procedure, which I really appreciated. Jolie (the practice manager) was also fantastic for laying out all of the details of the surgery and making sure it went smoothly. I trusted her enough to try a new implant (Motiva) that she hadn't worked with previously and do not regret my decision at all. The surgery itself went very smoothly and I had a surprisingly quick recovery (2 days of bedrest for 215-230cc implants under the muscle). Dr. Weintraub and Jolie were very responsive with the questions I had about aftercare. Three months post-surgery, I'm incredibly happy with the results and keep getting great feedback about how natural they look and feel! 10/10 would recommend this practice and working with Dr. Weintraub especially. Note: A lot of plastic surgeons will go to great lengths to market themselves, taking out advertisements and promoting their business so it's at the top of search results.
