FACFAS, Podiatry Institute of Southern California, located at 9808 Venice Blvd., Suite 600, Culver City, CA 90232 is a glib comedian who practices medicine below the standard of care required to be licensed in California. Nejat opined that my toenail fungus was caused by wearing shoes too small, thereby causing my toenail to be lifted up and allowing the fungus into the nail bed. Okay, so let's say, arguendo, that this is true. So then why didn't Dr. Nejat measure my shoe size? Instead of acting professional and measuring my foot size, he glibly stated that my big toe should be one thumb-width from the tip of my shoe. Huh? SkinRX Compounding Pharmacy Santa Monica Tavaborole 5% Topical Solution Prescription Fraud This quack went on to state that he would send in my prescription for Tavaborole 5% Topical Solution to SkinRX Compounding Pharmacy, 2222 Santa Monica Blvd., Suite 103, Santa Monica, CA 90404. Dr. Nejat said that my insurance would not cover this medication and that SkinRX would apply coupons and discounts so that I only have to pay $60.00 because the medication is so expensive. My big mistake was not insisting that Nejat the Numbskull simply send my prescription next door to my regular pharmacy, Brotman Medical Pharmacy. to prevent me from getting ripped off by this medical grifter. Dr. Nejat probably got a kick-back from SkinRX Compounding Pharmacy. But thanks to Dr. Nejat, I trusted him and paid my $60.00 to SkinRX before I verified the facts with my insurance company. I should have exercised the caveat of let the buyer beware, but I trusted the man because he is supposed to be a doctor, not a con artist. I will not be attending my follow-up appointment with Dr. Albert Nejat, Grifting Podiatrist. Dear Dr. Nejat, for the foregoing reasons, I will not be attending my follow-up appointment with you on July 21, 2026. He was friendly, knowledgeable and took a look at the x-rays from urgent care and let me know I didn't need surgery - he re-splinted my leg, gave me my care plan, including follow up appointments and physical therapy referral and wheelchair referral given I had injured myself in one of the falls from using the crutches... .he was super kind all the way through the process - he really listened. So, where do I even begin...?!…read more My journey with pain started all the way back in 2003 with my first injury to my lower back and hip. Over the years--with all the ups and downs, body adjustments, weight gain and loss--I began experiencing intense nerve pain in my lower back and right hip, radiating from my buttocks all the way down to my toes. That's when I learned it had a name: sciatica. For a while, I tried to manage the pain with basic stretches, but last year I decided to get an X-ray--just to be safe. The results were honestly shocking: I was diagnosed with L4-L5 disc degeneration, which was the root cause of all my pain. So I started physical therapy. But in March of this year, after a long trip, things got so much worse. The pain became unbearable, and I knew I had to find another way. That's when my partner suggested I try a chiropractor. I'll be honest--I was skeptical. But thank God I found Dr. Min. From the very first visit, the nerve pain that had tormented the entire right side of my body--from my hip to my toes--was completely gone. I used to feel severe pain just from lying on one side for more than an hour. That same week, after my first appointment, I lay on the couch all day with no pain at all.
