I had the inspection and the plumber found a leak in my crawl space. They also found 2 other items in need of repair. I agreed to the work. They did a good job and were great to work with. I'm not convinced one of the items really needed the repair. Not long after, I found water accumulating between my hot water heater and my furnace. MGP came out and determined it was the pressure relief valve on my 3 yr old HWH. There wasn't any water in the pan under it. The valve was replaced and a recommendation for an expansion tank was made. I chose not to do the tank at that time. Within a week, i noticed the water accumulating again. I called my HVAC company. They said it was from condensation on the AC line coming in. It did not require any repair and would stop when the humid weather passed. It has. I contacted MGP to complain. The office was very nice and said they would have the owner call me. He did call. I missed the call and called him back. He was driving and didn't have my file and said he would call me back. He has not. I am dissatisfied. I would like a refund for the part replacement that wasn't necessary. The company is responsive and does good work to my untrained eye. I felt the prices were high and that they looked for things to repair each time they came out. This and the owner's lack of response has left a bad impression. Therefore I would not recommend My Guy Plumbing. I will make sure my neighbors and others in my senior community are aware of my experience.

He cleaned it for 1/4 the price someone else tried to charge me and taught me a lot about my unit. This year, I called Chad again, and he came to fix an issue with my AC fan, and when it shuttered down after a few days, he replaced my unit completely. Chad and his team are THE BEST. He was very nice and shut off the water to the home. Take a bunch of pictures of the crawl space and told me.I would be cold later with an estimate for the broken pipes. I didn't hear anything , so I called the office later on and was told by the woman who answered the phone to call my insurance company and make sure that I had water line coverage and if I did not to make sure to add it , but not tell them that I had any problems. And she said to get the maximum. I didn't hear back from Her that day. I could not call the insurance company.Because it was president day. The next morning , I called and left them a message , and it was not returned. Tuesday afternoon , I called back , and the owner answered. I asked when the part is arriving for the water heater. She told me that I had to get the pipes fix first I told her they were fixed. She did not believe me. Which is irrelevant?Because once they left my house , they should have ordered the parts for the water heater. She seemed a little mad that she didn't get the whole job. At that point I called Rheem. I told them what happened and they expedited the part out to me. I also asked for a different service provider. Unfortunately , they connected me with the same company. I called friday morning when I received the part to see when they can come and install it. I was told not until at least monday. I have been without hot water for over a week. I get a phone call from the same woman, but not from an office line.She has a very distinct voice.
