Not so cluttered that you can't turn around, great lighting and unique ways of displaying items. My lower rating is because of the service to potential vendors. It seems non existent. I'd love to hear from any active vendor there. I dropped off my card (after messaging them via their website, email and Instagram over several months) to inquire about becoming a vendor and never heard back. Maybe they don't have any vendor openings or they don't think my art is a good fit. That's fine. However, I think a courtesy email telling me that should be a normal expectation, though? Maybe Im way off. I still get a ton of advertising whales from their subscription list, so.... ?

They don't have to buy anything and so you better kiss their behinds. Even if they don't want anything they might feel bad for you because you were so nice. 2) The prices need to be low enough to justify buying something useless. 3) You have to gave good stuff that people want, though they don't need. Also, it helps to have things that one has never seen before and thus must purchase it because they may never see it again. Well, Scout is a nice enough store. The store sells kitch, curios and art. The inside is nice and bright. There are some interesting items, but nothing that I can't live without. Also, I've seen a lot of the same items around the area. The prices were probably comparable but were still pricey. I don't think there was anything for less than $10 or I didn't find it. I give Scout 3 stars because the lady behind the counter was not very friendly or helpful. When I walked into the store she didn't acknowledge me right away or ask if I needed anything. Instead she just talked to a friend for almost the whole 15 minutes we were in there. I was the first to say hello as I entered. Eventually, she engaged us in conversation a little, but it wasn't the friendliest of conversations. Scout had some unique gift ideas and art pieces. Over all the quality stuff was very expensive. The rest could probably be purchased at other stores of a similar nature. I don't really have a reason to go back here.

I was recently in and was struggling to decide on a lamp and she went out of her way to assist me and telling me stories of her travels while moving items around the store so I could get the full effect of the lamp in different lightings. While this store does have nice pieces, I dont believe I will shop here again due to price gouging. There are plenty of alternatives to living mode.

This was a really interesting place I kept seeing on my Insta feed and I was also sent info on my…read moreInsta page from my family to check out. We finally got a chance to visit. It was a fun place. It was a mix between a dollar store type place and a dollar general type store. They had so many adorable items, like those cute pens and pencils and stickers I took a photo of. They had a very small variety of a lot of items, like a dollar store. They only had around three small refrigerated/ freezer areas. They had their isles separated like a dollar store, home items, cleaning items, shelf stable foods drinks and candies, pet items, small child items, craft area, etc.... I found some items I was looking for like sesame seeds and metal chopsticks. We also found items we had been searching for, for over a year, like the peach ice creams. Those the kids had wanted to try for ages. I feel that even though they were expensive, I had seen them for $10 each, and they were around three for $17 here. They also had tons of the viral candies, drinks, and noodles people like. We love treats, so we stocked up on our favorites. All in all we had fun shopping here and might return.
