If you look at my reviews, you'll see what happened to Albi Bear before. And how I came to find Linda. I went on an interview spree - I went to different places, met different groomers... I finally decided one afternoon to call Canine Design and ask them if it was okay to just drop by. This was the first time anyone said "Yes, we'd love to meet you!". Haha, you want to meet a high maintenance dog owner? Points to you, my friend! I brought Albi Bear with me because it was our day together, and Linda and her husband wanted to meet him, so I brought him in, and even though Albi is a bit stand off-ish with new people, they took the time to let him come to them. We went right away and set up an appointment. Fast forward to appointment day, and I see Linda has made it so she had all morning with Albi. I thought that would be great, because if he gives her trouble, it would give her time to get her job done. Well, the appointment only took an hour! He was a perfect gentleman, she even let me stay in the lobby area, and he let her do everything! She talked to him, she even laughed at the funny faces he makes when he hears her dog... Anyway, she did a fabulous job, and Albi was stress free. Fast forward to about a month later, she managed to squeeze him in for a last minute session. Unfortunately, because they were busy, Albi was left unattended in a crate for a few hours, and I was told he had a "little bit of diarrhea" which turned out to be that it was a lot but Albi ate it and later proceeded to vomit it in my car. Was I given a refund or discount for not watching my dog? NO. and you pay a pretty HEFTY fee for Canine Design! So after that, I have tried to make sure he does not end up in there for too long, which I have to insist on because even when I say this before the appointment, the other lady who works with Linda sometimes will say "OK come by at 4pm" when it is 9am. Hahahahaha... no. I would recommend this place, but just make sure you really are the hover doggy parent and know your dog and any of his anxieties. If none, YAY! You probably can save money and take him/her elsewhere, but if yes, Linda is fab but make sure they will have time to really care for your dog. Update: I was informed Linda's assistant is no longer there, which based on what I went through, might just be a good thing. Linda and her hubby are probably hands down the best. I was also told the grooming fee for Albi is the norm, but I have 3 receipts in his little folder that have 3 very different prices. However, pricing shouldn't matter for a doggy parent (usually!).

Kacey did a fantastic job on those hind claws, which a previous vet tech had told me were beyond clipping. And she is so soft and smells so good! She was so calm and happy, when I got her home, not stressed out at all, as she has sometimes been in the past. I will definitely bring her back for all her grooming needs. I have an aging Aussie, Moxie who is pretty sensitive in her old age and is unstable on her legs at…read moretimes. Kaiden and Kacey are very kind and thorough and know when to back off when Moxie is distressed. I try to schedule Moxie when there are no other customers around, but Kaiden and Kacey will carefully shield Moxie from other dogs. We had taken Moxie to national chain establishments and those places are just too noisy and chaotic for both of us! BTW, our veterinarian cannot cut Moxie's nails without a huge struggle and recommended anesthetizing her to do it. I don't know what Cozy Clips does but they get the nails shortened and smoothed. For years I failed to adequately groom Moxie by myself as she gets easily matted. Now I get her done regularly and both Moxie and I are very happy with the results. I heartily recommend Cozy Clips.
