I will I'm new to the area and did not know where to go to have a key and fob made. I texted Sterling locksmith and they got back to me right away and responded very quickly to all my Texts. Can you out and did a great job for less than I expected. read more

Very friendly, on time and quickly made keys and programmed key fobs for my truck. I highly recommend this company.

Don't even call this number for a quote (805-668-9759). I called to get a quote for a duplicate key for my car and had a bad connection so I hung up and figured I'd call him later. An hour later he calls me demanding money saying that I never paid him for a job he did. He never touched my car, he never even looked at my key for duplication and I've never met him. However, he calls me up an hour later (caller ID) demanding me to pay him via Venmo. Not sure what kind of scam this guy is pulling but don't ever call this number. I'm guessing he thinks he can bully money out of people. read more

After stubbornly attempting to customize a second remote for my Pirus, I ate crow and rang Sterling Locksmith. Help arrived in under 10 minutes to my relief. The programming of the fob proved challenging but doable thanks to Isaac's skill and resourcefulness. The cut key and programmed fob were thoroughly tested and passed with flying colors. Isaac distinguished himself by his technical skill, adroit decision making, and thoroughness. Also, it was a pleasure to work with him. Isaac and his company deserve an award for excellence. Recommend them with enthusiasm. read more

Mr Isaac is an amazing person that took my call immediately, and came quickly. Did a great job keying all my existing keys to the new dead bolt lock he installed. Isaac did a fabulous job on making me a key and prompt and reasonable. Highly recommend him.

My wife's commercial front door lock broke. I must have made "5" phone calls , the first 5 Businesses listed on google. They either didn't answer, said they couldn't get out to me "for a while" , or just couldn't help me. Then I called "Sterling Locksmith". I spoke with Isaac, explained my problem, and he showed up 20 minutes later. It was obvious he was familiar with the lock. He was reasonable, very professional, and had our door working again within an hour. By the way.........it's been hours now and I still haven't heard back from any of the "top 5 listings". Please consider using Isaac for your lock issues. He didn't show up immediately in my search, but I was very glad I found him. Thanks again Isaac! read more

We locked ourselves out last night and they were the only locksmith to respond to us. WOW! they were great, out to our house in 1/2 an hour and had us in fast even though the house didn't make it easy for him. We then ask about changing some of the locks to match one key - he was able to do that while he was there saving us $$ by not coming back out. We will defiantly recommend him and also feel free to call him if needed. read more

Got a FOB for my Prius - best price around by far, could do it the same day - hit him up!

I own a small vacation condo that I rent and stay in on occasion. Recently, it was remodeled, and the door hardware as well as locks for the owners closets were changed out. The new keys were supposed to have been at the front desk; however, they were the wrong keys. I tried every other possible key of the same brand to determine if the keys had gotten swapped, but no luck. Therefore, I called both local locksmiths. The first had a voice message, but the second one, Sterling Locksmith, answered! Issac, the owner, arrived within minutes! He was able to open the locked closet and solve my predicament, quickly. He was prompt, polite, respectful, reasonably priced, and available even though I called in the evening. I would highly recommend Sterling Locksmith, and in fact, I did recommend him to the front desk at Pacific Plaza Resort. read more

As a business owner myself, he was the most unprofessional business owner I have ever dealt with. I had a jammed door lock and called to have him come look at it. When he arrived he instantly started drilling at the door before introducing himself or saying who he was with. I was busy with customers and didn't see him right away. By the time I was able to come see what was going on, he said he was going trying to fix the existing lock instead of replacing the whole thing. He told me it was going to be $150 if he could (which he said he thinks it was working and was already almost done with the job), otherwise it would be $300. Without providing a quote or consulting me before he started he just did it and told me to pay the $150. I was again busy with customers and so I paid him between them. When I went to look at the lock and check it, the whole thing was scratched up and looked awful, with super loose pieces and was so incredibly poorly done. I immediately called him and asked what happened and why it looked the way it did and he instantly got defensive and told me because I didn't pay the $300 to "do it right". He completely argued with me and told me, "who cares what it looks like, does it lock easier now?". Wow - if that's how you care about your product and the service you provide, that's really sad. After 20 minutes of arguing with him and him basically yelling at me, he refused to fix or replace it if I wasn't going to pay an additional $150. Later I found out that I can't even unlock the door with my key anymore. When I called him about it, he again got extremely defensive and told me that it was because I didn't pay the $300 to fix the mechanism. I explained that it is broken and won't unlock now (when it did before) and he refuses to fix it without me paying the additional $150. Every interaction with him has been extremely unprofessional, he is instantly defensive, argumentative and refuses to listen to anything I say, just talking over me. Now I have a chewed up looking lock that you can't unlock from the outside using a key and I am out $150. Please don't ever use him. He is a crook. Also, look at his stock photos, it's not even his work...be careful of this guy. read more
