We are wasting no time in thanking Steri-Clean Illinois, and specifically Tony M. and his extraordinary crew, for the exceptional service they provided on a recent clean-up in Villa Park, IL. My husband and I found ourselves in the unenviable position of helping out our friend who, unbeknownst to us, had been living in a "hoarder house" for years. The home was a filthy mess of unimaginable proportions. Once discovered, we got our friend out of the house and undertook the arduous process of hiring a company for the massive clean-up and restoration. On the advice of a friend, Steri-Clean Illinois was one of the companies we called for an estimate. We spoke directly with the president of the company, Tony M. He assured us no matter the scope of the clean-up, they could help. He personally came out the following day to assess the situation. By the end of that day we had a written, detailed proposal in hand. Contrast that with other "big name" companies we called: One didn't show up for the estimate; one was significantly late (without calling); one had a written proposal that only stated "Clean out Entire House" and we had to follow up with the final company for a week to get an estimate. In comparison, Steri-Clean Illinois' proposal was especially detailed, stating who would do the work, exactly what would be done, when it would be done, and specifically how it would be done. Any potential extra charges were clearly documented. To top it off, Steri-Clean's estimate came in significantly below the others. Throughout the 5-week clean-up process we had no doubt that we had chosen the right company and that our friend was receiving the very best value for his money. Tony and his friendly and hardworking staff instilled an incredible sense of confidence in us and we knew that we were in remarkably capable hands. Upon completion, the house was immaculate. We could not believe that such phenomenal results were possible. Simply put, Steri-Clean Illinois exceeded our expectations every step of the way. We hope that we are never thrust into another situation like this but if we are we won't hesitate to call Steri-Clean Illinois again. We will never forget how Tony and his wonderful staff made everything right, just as they said they would. Such memorable professionalism, service, care and compassion are to be commended. We'll continue to sing Steri-Clean's praises long into the future and will recommend them to others in the highest terms. They not only spectacularly restored a home, but restored hope as well. Tony of Steri-clean and his crew did a fantastic job on a project of a hoarding mess we had cleaned up in Illinois! it was so overwhelming , we didn't know where to start. talking 80 years of saving EVERYTHING the family owned. we needed to get the house sterilized, disinfected and cleaned to put on market so we could go home to California.
