Purchased 3 microneedling facials with prp from Groupon. I contracted MRSA shortly after my first treatment. I sent pictures as proof. They tried telling me it was something that can outbreak again even though it's a severe bacterial infection- not a virus. But these are apparent "medical professionals"!? I didn't see a difference after the treatment as well- I've had microneedling elsewhere in the past- their pen seems cheap as it didn't penetrate deeply. They promised me a full refund initially. Then a partial. Then stopped responding all together. It took weeks to get my money back from Groupon. Having MRSA made me SO sick. Left scarring on my face. I'm out time from work. Two doctors visits. And two rounds of antibiotics. This cost me WAY more than just a treatment. I am reporting them to the health department as well as the BBB. BEWARE of this business!!! If I could give 1 star I would pay to. I went here for some fillers in my jawline to make it more defined and SLIMMER. This "injector" made my face ROUNDER. I honestly was fighting doing this review because I am trying to support my people. But I am just so sad :/ I really was excited to get this done. I left so disappointed I could have cried. I purchased 3 sessions of the microneedling with PRP. I wanted to try something new that would help improve my fine lines and wrinkles and also reduce humongous pores. I was afraid it was going to be painful, but Yas was very informative during consultation and answered all the questions I had, during the process she was very gentle and constantly asked if I was comfortable. The numbing cream was very effective, takes about half an hour. I have horrible veins for drawing my blood haha but Yas was able to find them with no problems! The micro needling process was relaxing and Yas was entertaining and I never felt like I was being pressured to buy other services or products like at other spas. After my first treatment I noticed my skin feel tighter, after my second treatment I felt the appearance of my fine lines was improving! I had never had anything done before. I have a minor wrinkle between my eyebrows that I am self conscious about, so after doing some research on offices that provided Dysport, I settled on Step Up To Wellness and purchased 50 units of Dysport on Groupon. Although the procedure was paid for in full, they still demanded a $50 refundable deposit which I thought was very strange, but I dismissed it. Yaz was initially very professional. Although I only expressed displeasure in my brow wrinkle, she injected the units other places in my face where I have no wrinkles, but I trusted she knew what she was doing. I thought that was also strange. She said it would be 3-10 days before I noticed any results. After three weeks, there was no change in my face. I called the office to speak with someone to figure out if this was normal, and the girl on the phone told me that since Dysport is the smallest molecule, it "doesn't work for everyone." I was shocked to hear that, as that information certainly was not relayed to me when I initially came in. If I had known there was even a chance that the procedure would not produce any results, there's no way I would have gone through with it, because I don't like taking risks. She scheduled me to come in so yaz could look at it. Yaz tried to convince me that there was a noticeable difference and showed me the before and after photos, which looked the same to me. She tried to tell me that just because I wasn't happy that it didn't look the way I hoped, didn't mean that it didn't work. She then tried to sell me additional units. I have since discovered other reviews from others who had the same problem at this office. I know many other women in my family who have had Dysport done several times, and it produced beautiful results. Although I understand everyone's body is different, I find it hard to believe that I'm the only one who didn't respond to it. I have serious doubts that I got what I paid for, and wonder if it was mixed correctly. I don't like to post 1 star reviews but unfortunately I had inexplicable horrible experience and not good results ( or let's say lack of) I've had over in 10 years of having Botox or Dysport. The nurse was sweet but you pay for the results you are hoping to see, right? .. I came for my 2-weeks after follow up (and touch up ) with Yas ( got 100 unit of dysport- usually I'm in between 65-85 max unit!). My forehead and glabella are ok but crow's feet- almost no changes!! She was agreed and said about additional 20 units for my crow's feet: 10 more units on each side. Basically 20 units x 1 injection/ crow's feet on 1 side area (besides other 10 units around my each 1 eye.) Honestly I've never heard that any one might need that amount/20 units injected with 1 injection. Sorry but something is wrong: the amount injected or the quality of the Dysport. I have almost no wrinkles and obviously I'm lucky yet I do not have any deep wrinkles. Anyway After Yas did "that additional 20 units" ( sorry but I have a doubt if it was really 20 units), she said that the owner feels uncomfortable to have me as a client because initially I didn't allow to make my pictures, and then Yas said : "You are so adorable ( excuse me??),- nothing personalI but you have to look for the other providers." Very unprofessional... As a business provider you should care about your customers satisfaction and do your best providing the services... Well, if the owner is required to make the pictures from each potential client, then why you haven't refunded money when I came first time for my treatment and I didn't allow to make any pictures? Why you have tried to sale me your most expensive member package over $2,000 after I've got the dysport?.. Bottom line: I'd never recommend this provider: 1) unfortunately you cannot trust this business as you never would know how many units will be used, and in my own experience with Yas I haven't got the amount and quality I've paid for. 2) Yas has tried to sell me very expensive member package and obviously she is not interested in the clients who just need the basic maintenance treatments. Also I'm not sure about "the owner' rejection" regarding the potential clients when/ if people don't like to make the pictures. I have very bad experience with Step up wellness, and I'd not recommend this business. Don't waist your time in general and look for elsewhere. You'll not get what you paid for.
