They have seating inside for quite a few people for the size. We were promptly greeted by one of the employees. My daughter got 1 of the milk teas with boba from the refrigerator, my oldest got a fruit drink, my wife got nachos and asked for spicy nacho kind, I got the salted caramel gelato. The milk tea was good per my kid but the boba was very chewy, my oldest loved her fruit drink ( very sweet to me though), my wife did not enjoy the nachos ( flaming hot Doritos with artificial cheese) the cheese didn't even look or taste like cheese, and my gelato was decent but more like ice cream versus a creamy gelato. Do not come here for a fruit cup. They have diced fruit and not large chunks. Was something new to try but we won't be back.

The coffee was fine, but the dazzling display of trompe-l'œil desserts was straight out of the fancy chocolatier baking shows. And as great as these jewels look, they even taste greater! I ordered my usually at any boba shop, which was my ultimate old reliable taro root boba tea, I normally get this frozen but silly me I had forgotten to tell the young man behind the counter that preference, I did specify that I wanted a slight coconut taste and I thought that possibly that they could possibly throw a smidgen of coconut boba flavor in there somehow. He told me the best way to get the coconut flavor in that won't be too over powering is that I should consider putting coconut milk in it. I agreed and than I noticed the delicious looking gelato! I love gelato. So I figured perhaps I'd get a small smidgen to enjoy with my boba. So he tells me that their gelato is actually from Italy the ingredients came from there, and offered me a sample. I tasted the coconut and it was really good. It had a nice creaminess to it and wasn't sickenly (I know that's maybe not a real word) sweet just perfect flavor like I was on a tropical beach with a straw in a coconut that's been on ice for 24 hours so it's nice and cold. So refreshing. Than I seen the ube flavor and I was like - wow that's what I want, he's like oh you want to sample the Ube flavor, I was like no, I'm already convinced it will be delicious as well. So I ordered the medium gelato which came with two scoops, one of each and it was so good I had to actually pace my self from not wolfing it down. I still had not sampled my boba. It was still wrapped up. But than the guy comes from behind the counter and offered me a second, well he didn't offer it he just gave it to me, I was a bit surprised as I only ordered one drink, but he explained how he wasn't sure if I he remembered to put the coconut milk in the boba tea for me. I told him I haven't even had sampled it yet and really in my not even tell the difference. He told me no problem I already made it for you. So honest - how many servers would just hope I would not notice! More than likely quite a bit, and I also noticed that they draw little faces on their cups here, see in pic so cute, and there's board games, like Jenga, connect 4 and j few other board games for groups of people to play. They have a variety of baked goods and drinks and also have to fill shelves of crystals and tinctures, teas and stuff that you can shop through. They have a kids corner as well which makes it the perfect place to chill and relax while your kids are entertained. I tried the lavender matcha and brown butter rice crispy. The rice crispy was ok. The first time I visited, the shop was completely empty with no customers or staff in sight. I waited for ten minutes during which time I snapped some really great photos of the place for Yelp, but ended up leaving when no one ever came out. The café was cute and had their monkey mascot everywhere from murals to plushies, the pastries in the case looked yummy, the dark chocolate samples from around the world were interesting to try, and I really liked the idea of making my own chocolate like they advertised so I decided to try again another day. Unfortunately, the café is a little more out of the way and free parking in the downtown area is limited so it made it difficult to return as soon as I'd hoped to. On the second visit there were two customers and a single manager in shop, and I finally got to order. I opted for their Matcha Latte with Hazelnut which was, at first, okay at best. It was pretty smooth for the first half of the drink or so but was grassy in flavor, and the Hazelnut was dark chocolate like the rest of their chocolates in shop, so beware if you like a milkier chocolate flavor. I would have been less harsh on this drink if it wasn't for the fast that towards the end I ended up sipping a HUGE clump of unblended matcha. It was so bad I ended up pouring out the last of the drink to assess the unmixed matcha situation and was even more appalled to see the bottom of the cup. A few matcha flecks? Fine. But I've NEVER had so much matcha caked down at the bottom of a drink before this one. It was insulting that the manager who made this drink thought this was okay. As an ex-barista, I've said this before and I'll say it again: If you don't know how to make a drink, it does not need to be on your menu. It doesn't matter if you specialize in coffee and chocolate, that does not give you a pass on the other things. If it's on your menu, you need to know how to make it. 5 Stars for aesthetic, 2 Stars for the second worst matcha beverage I've had in my life.
