I called Langley. They came. They listened. They checked out my 3 units. They changed 2 capacitors and topped off one unit. $'s compared to that other company. I recently bought the house. Thought the units were original and 20 years old. 1st company let me think that and were going to rip out perfectly good equipment. Langley told me that one unit is only 4 years old and still has a year of parts warrantee. The other is 8 years old. Also found out I have a split heat pump that the other company was going to replace with a full heat pump that would have been a big mistake because even though I live in NC I like my winter temp at 76deg and it was explained to me that using the heat pump for heat...it would not be able to keep up when the temps got down. It is nice to know that there are still some honest companies out there. I trusted that other company. What a mistake I would have made if I had not called Langley.
