However, I must say I am happy that I called Woodall's well service because from the moment I called there was an eagerness to handle my problem despite the fact that his crew had a busy schedule. They managed to switch their schedule around to accommodate me as I did not have any water coming to my home. Travis and John arrived promptly, diagnosed and replaced the guage and pressure switch and I had runnning water again within the hour. I am putting Woodall's on Speed dial for my "Go to" for well repair service, and I highly recommend them to others. Oh and my the way , I think they are reasonably priced.

I highly recommend this company for residential well pump service…read more My well water had recently begun to deliver sand and higher than normal levels of fine silt. The 20 year old submersible pump had become mired in sand and was extremely difficult to pull up by hand but was eventually recovered and replaced. From the initial contact to the job completion, the staff were courteous, concerned about the problem I needed to be fixed and prompt to respond. The technicians and office staff were technically knowledgeable and had all the parts needed to diagnose and correct my well water problem. I judged the invoiced price to be fair and competitive.

This is not a company that I would recommend. Very poor customer service, unprofessional…read moretechnicians with no real experience. They arrived at my home and procrastinated for about 45 minutes until Pam the owner had to tell them what to do. Talk about milking the clock! I explaind to to Bryan the situation and he convinced me that the problem was the Check Valve which he said was on top of the well pump. This information was totally incorrect, he really had experience he would know that, Most high quality submersible pumps will have a check valve built in from the manufacturer at the discharge. So again waisted time, trying to diagnose something that was not correct. I think that he must have been on drugs or something because he was extremely figity and bouncing around like he just couldn't stay still. He was saying not so nice things about the boss and he was just on his phone constantly, whispering to the young man who looked to he about 18 and was not talkative at all. So they pulled the pump out put a check valve on the pump didn't even show me what they did before putting it back in the well, which seemed very shady to me. I turned the breaker on for the pump and again it was not fixed. Doing the same thing it did in the beginning. Why was the pump not tested first before installing the check valve, again lack of knowledge and experience. So needless to say the pump is ruined and will have to be replaced. The owner tried to con us into spending $2000.00 to replace the pump which they ruined, Pam acted like she couldn't get in touch with my father so that she could convince me to agree to the repair. I will add that the time they waisted for me was unacceptable and an inconvenience. I did not appreciate the unprofessional approach of the technicians and Pam. I would not recommend this company for any kind of water repair, they can not be trusted.

I immediately shut…read moreoff the water to the house, cut the power to the water heater (the pipe feeds the heater) and drained the heater. All that needed to be done was cut out the bad section of pipe and replace it. The heater itself was fine and did not come into play. I found Acme online and contacted them. They called back Monday, arrived at 3:09, showed me an estimate of $303.11, which I thought was extremely high for the work required but agreed to. They admitted that "most" of it was labor (and didn't give a breakdown). It was labeled TOTAL with no other information on the tablet I was asked to sign. Here's the breakdown of what I was actually charged: $283.94 Repair 39.00 "All Day" service fee 21.80 taxes $344.74 "real" total, not the other "total". Note that there is no breakdown of labor and materials on the invoice itself either. They were gone by 4:09. I was shocked to find later that they'd added their $39 "service call" in addition to over $300 for what should have been 15 minutes' work even for one person, let alone two grown men. (See pictures.) I contacted them two days ago asking if they could waive the fee, and they have not responded. Do yourselves a favor and find a plumber who charges for his/her time and materials instead of by what some "app" says.
