Activities that triggered would vary as well as intensity. A mystery. I was worried that at the age of 67 the response would be you're old and have arthritis. Happy to hear that was not the case. I'm a distance runner and have completed 5 marathons and did not want to give up running. Dr Mayo did complete X-rays of knees and pelvic region and did a very thorough physical exam/ assessment of my knees. He did not dismiss me. He listened! He determined that I had some muscle imbalance tightness contributing to tracking of my patella. Ordered a prescription anti inflammatory and PT. He was able to explain how it all connected in easy to understand words. He is kind, attentive and extremely knowledgeable about sports. I've been to other orthopedics over my 17 years of running and I have been the most impressed with Dr Mayo. Highly recommend.

Still was able to host Christmas. Love dr. David Mendelson. Home care also. I now would like to go see him, because my newest replacement has been swelling up for no apparent reason. Problem, they don't take the INSURANCE that we have now. Get this I cannot even pay cash or credit card! Apparently it is against the law.
