He struck me as a "do it by the books" kind of contractor and I liked that. Permits were pulled, inspectors were lined up and this all made the job go well. Mike was communicative and explained with clarity what would need to be done. He always kept me in the loop as to what the next steps were going to be and did many follow-ups to be sure the job was being done in a timely manner. If I had a question, he came back with an answer in a timely fashion. During the project I hired Mike for my front door which needed replacing. I asked Mike if he could do it and within two days, the door arrived and it was hung. Mike used a sub-contractor, AJ Homes and I was was impressed with the workmanship and work ethic the employees of AJ Homes possessed. They were always kind and answered any questions I may have had. Quote from Andrew was quick and reasonable. He and his team were here early on the scheduled day, moved all furniture, then spent over 10 hours with washers and power sanders. We looked into the large stores but decided to take a chance on a local company that we heard advertising on the radio. Lewis and Weldon was advertising their new line of cabinetry, Cranberry Cove, not only were their prices great, but they could handle everything from design, to installation. And, all the cabinetry would be constructed right on site, at their shop.
