This is a very overdue review. I had a superb breast augmentation with Dr Bresnick 13 years ago and was beyond happy. My breast looked natural and exactly what I wanted them. No complication with a smooth recovery. Two years ago menopause hit me hard and my breast size went up from C to D cup making my work out routine hard and my chest much bigger. Not what I liked and cared for. I decided to go back to Dr Bresnick and I am so glad I made that choice. He gave me much more I expected with the implant out and the lift I feel I have nicer breasts now than my 20s. Dr Bresnick's expertise in his field is surpassing lots of other cosmetic surgeons. His bed side manner gentle and caring. I always feel safe with his work and trusting my health in his hands without doubt. I am so incredibly happy with my results!!! I had contemplated a breast augmentation for a few years and did extensive research to find the right doctor I would feel comfortable with. Let me first start by saying, I went to 3 different consultation before coming here (huge mistake wasting my time, but Dr. Bresnick was booked up and I got my appointment later). First, the consultation fee was reasonable here compared to all others, and you actually get what you pay for. I was shown photos and staff spent time in understanding what it was I was looking for, and Dr. Bresnick came in and actually spent a good amount of time assessing me and giving me options and explaining everything to me! He didn't try to upsell anything, didn't give me unrealistic expectations, and he wasn't an arrogant surgeon full of ego. I knew right away he was the one... (the surgeon :)). At my pre-op, he continued to explain and spend time to understand exactly what I wanted. He measured and brought out charts and went through various options to make sure everything was as close to perfection. The day of the surgery, staff was amazing and surprisingly, I didn't feel anxious at all! The Dr. called me that night to make sure I was ok, and asked to see me the next day to make sure everything was ok and continued to see me and make sure I was healing (which I was). He is an incredible surgeon with a decorated resume, but most importantly, he's a good human being with a great bedside manner. You don't find that in talented doctors. On top of it all, he continues to invest in research and stays on top of current medicine and approaches. I read an article he wrote (yes I'm a nerd) about BII, and it was so refreshing to hear his take on BII and the consideration of the "nocebo effect". It really eased my anxiety about all the negative things I've heard and read, especially since it was something I was truly unhappy about and had been considering for many years. I had my BA with Dr Bresnick this September. I went for consultation with 3 other surgeons. I decided to go to him. He was very knowledgeable . Answers all my questions. I work in medical field myself, I am aware of all the risks and complications entails with surgery, he took time to explain them all to me. I want to preface this review by saying that my experience with Dr. Stephen Bresnick himself was not terrible and he is actually a good doctor, but unfortunately, the same cannot be said for his staff and the way his office operates. Despite paying for my procedure, I felt like I was not a priority as a patient. Every time I arrived for an appointment, I had to wait in the waiting room for at least 45 minutes to an hour. To make matters worse, the staff did not call to confirm or remind me of appointments after receiving payment, and the front desk staff were incredibly rude and condescending. Dr. Bresnick's staff does not even sit at the front desk upon arrival or pick up any phone calls, which made it difficult to communicate and caused a lot of frustration. I believe the other surgeons staff sits and the front and answers the phone calls. The lack of communication and patient/coordinator relationship-building was also apparent after my surgery. Even right after the surgery it seemed like they were trying to get me dressed as quickly as possible to throw me out of the recovery room ASAP and it was not a good feeling waking up after surgery to this. I will say that Dr. Bresnick himself called me to check in on me and my well-being the same night of surgery which made me feel a little better. Dr. Bresnick did not put the size implants that I had originally asked for, and when I look at myself in the mirror my breasts look like my natural breasts, just a tad bit bigger. My scars turned out absolutely terrible. I was extremely disappointed with the results and felt like my desires were not taken into account. On top of that, I experienced a terrible infection after one of the stitches was not removed by the nurse Diana. Not only did the infection delay my healing and result in wider, darker scars, but Diana was very rude and made me feel uncomfortable during my visits. She ignored the fact that she caused the infection and was unresponsive to my calls and emails. Furthermore, she would hide from me when I would come in for my post-op appointments. I am so upset with the scars that I have to face every day. In addition to these issues, on two different occasions, they scheduled an appointment for me at a specific time and when I showed up at the said time, they told me that my appointment was not on that day. This caused me to waste hours and was a major inconvenience. Overall, my experience with Dr. Bresnick's office was a negative one. The lack of communication, professionalism, and patient care left me feeling frustrated and unsupported. The staff made it feel like they were my enemy, rather than a support system, which is not an experience that any patient should have to endure. I honestly don't think there are words to describe how happy I am with Dr. Bresnick, his work and his team. I came to him for removal and replacement of implants, breast reduction and lift. My implants were almost 18 years old and saline. A truly honest doctor who really cares about his patients. He is a perfectionist and cares about his work. He is a good listener and won't make you feel rushed during his consults or any other time. I came in to see him for a muscle repair over 15 years ago (got scared and never did it) when I was living in another state. I had breast reduction surgery with Dr. Bresnick in December. This was my second surgery with him. The first one was about 12 years ago (a different procedure). I'm sad to leave such a horrible review considering how nice everyone was from the start of my appointment to the aftercare. This negative review is more because I was so unhappy with my tummy tuck. I chose dr Bresnick because of all his good reviews. In the consultation he seemed very professional and was so sure about his recommendation for me to get an umbilical float (abdominoplasty) which is a floating tummy tuck that detaches the belly button from the abdominal wall and moves it downward. Well Dr Bresnick MOVED MY BELLY BUTTON WAY TOO LOW. When I came in for my post op a few times I raised this concern and all he said was for me to just wear my parties higher on the sides. I was offended by this but he also mentioned that there is nothing we can do to fix this issue. Because he didn't do an extended tummy tuck and put my belly button too low, I have dog ear like flaps on my side. Mind you, I'm in great shape and workout often. I have not been comfortable wearing anything low, or a regular bikini because I do look somewhat botched. Everything I wear is high on my tummy. I am subconscious about it all the time now. It's now been over a year and I am just as uncomfortable as where I started before even having this done. I did this to fix my stomach and had muscle repair due to having two kids. I am out $18k and left very unhappy. I have called a numerous amount of times to raise my concern but was told there was no way to fix this so there was no point of me coming in for any reason. The recovery was the hardest of it all which is sad that I couldn't workout out or do much in this time and it was all for nothing. I have now been to two board certified surgeons who told me he def put it too low and it should be aligned with the top of your hips which it's not. Sadly, I now have to live with this forever. I really wish I would have got more opinions from more doctors before choosing this one. read more

This is long overdue. I had called a few cosmetic surgery offices before and even had one full consultation for breast augmentation and lift. However, none do them quite convinced me that I had found the right surgeon for me. When I made my consultation appointment with Dr Bresnick, I had to wait three months for his first available opening. I patiently waited as the reviews here on Yelp kept me positive. My consultation went so well that days after, my boyfriend and I decided to go ahead and get them done. I had my surgery last November and by December was swimming in Sydney's northern beaches. Dr Bresnick did such an amazing job that he's even amazed himself when he saw my scarring which is very minimal providing that I also had a lift. My boyfriend could not believe at my healing and thought my doctor did such a phenomenal job! He was able to get me to a full C cup which was the goal! The day of my surgery, I woke up feeling no pain! I just felt very sleepy. Once I went home my pain was about a 3/4 for about 3 days. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. Stephen Bresnick!!! He is such a gifted surgeon, and his kindness, bedside manner, and knowledge are commendable! He is the most honest plastic surgeon I have ever met - he will not do a surgery if he feels it's not right for you or if the results you want cannot be achieved. I admire this so much because other plastic surgeons, especially in Beverly Hills, can be so salesy. Dr. Bresnick is the opposite and treats you like someone in his family, only wanting what's best for you and your body. He explains every detail and answers all your questions. 12 years ago, I had breast implant surgery in San Francisco. I always felt they were too large and too far apart. Several friends, and clients, went to Dr. Bresnick for their breast augmentation and their breasts were truly the most beautiful I had ever seen. So natural, perky, and perfect! So, after two back surgeries this year, my breasts felt too heavy and uncomfortable so I had a consultation with Dr. Bresnick. His staff was wonderful, so kind and caring. Specifically, Sarah was top notch! A few days after my consultation I still had questions, and she took the time to answer every single one. Even after my pre op appointment, I called with more questions, and she called me back each time. Dr. Bresnick used a product I had never heard of, called Galatea, and I couldn't be happier with the results of my new implants and overall look of my breasts! I'm so happy he suggested this product because no other doctor I met with did. In fact, many were not experienced in working with this product, and it was the best solution for the look I wanted. I was VERY careful in finding a PS due to a previous experience. I did a lot of research, got names from friends and Yelp, and looked at websites much more throughly than previously. Dr. Bresnick name kept coming up various times in my multifaceted search. When I met with him regarding a tummy tuck, I felt he was honest and generally had a great manner. I had my tummy tuck with Dr. Bresnick on May 18, 2022 and WOW! My tummy looks absolutely amazing, truly. The scar is so clean, my tummy is flat and looks beautiful, and my belly button looks great. It'a a 180 degree change and I am very happy. I really wanted to write this review because it can be hard finding a PS that is trustworthy, I learned the hard way that there are doctors who will promise the moon and underdeliver, and then there are truly gifted surgeons like Dr. Bresnick who are just amazing. I had a previous bad experience with a particular doctor in 2015, who I found in a fashion magazine that double charged me for liposuction (he touted as a "special technique" in order to hike up his prices), ending in poor results. If you are thinking about a tummy tuck, I can personally recommend Dr. Bresnick and can also say it's not as scary as it may seem. I am still in the recovery phase and it has all been very manageable. His office staff and team are also wonderful, and were very helpful and kind.
