I researched face and neck lift procedures (which is essentially what a standard "facelift" includes in my area) and found that prices from experienced doctors with strong track records varied by about 50% from lowest to highest. One of the estimates I received was from Dr. Bresnick, who has performed a very high number of facelifts and consistently earns excellent reviews. From everything I read--his experience, his results, and the quality of his work--I felt his skills rivaled another doctor in Thousand Oaks whose quote was at the very top of that range. To my surprise, Dr. Bresnick's coordinator gave me a rough estimate over the phone that was less than half that price. At the initial consultation, Dr. Bresnick impressed me even more. He was honest and told me that I was asking for more work than I actually needed. He explained that my neck wasn't severe enough to justify a full neck lift. Instead of upselling me, he actually recommended a mini-facelift, which was a further 30% reducton in price. The mini-facelift went extremely well. I had almost no swelling, thanks in part to his excellent drainage system. And to my surprise, my neck feels and looks tighter, even without a formal neck lift. I have been to 4 of Los Angeles's top Breast Surgeons this year for consults regarding a breast augmentation with lift. All four doctors have impeccable work and are highly regarded, but Dr. Bresnick took the cake! He and his team made me feel so safe, cared for, and educated in my consultation and throughout this life changing experience. He was very honest with what he could do for me--I have lost a significant amount of weight, and as a result my breasts are deflated and my skin elasticity is not where I want it to be as a 23 year old. I was very worried that my expectations of perky perfect breasts would be unachievable. Dr. Bresnick took the time to look at my inspo photos while examining my skin quality and even my bone structure, to see if what I really wanted was achievable. He was honest with me and told me it was possible, but that there were certain procedures that he would take to ensure it could happen. Such as internal mesh and an anchor lift. I thought I had already made a yelp review along time ago, but apparently not. I have gone to Bresnick for a very long time. I first went to him when I had a botched liposuction. So he did a body lift surgery on me. I've been living my best life having that fixed in my 30's and all of a sudden I became old so I needed an eyelid surgery. They came out really natural. (Easiest surgery btw) a few years later, I needed a facelift because of the rest of my face had become more saggy at 52. He did a great job. He didn't leave me looking like a crazy celebrity. Dr. Bresnick, his staff, and his office and facilities are outstanding. Dr. Bresnick removed a Melanoma cancer on the side of my face and not only does the Pathology report show that all the cancer was removed, but the incision is so faint at two weeks after the surgery, I think it will be undetectable in a short time. His staff is very friendly and the communication was great. Dr. Bresnick answered all my questions and walked me through all the procedure steps. His staff even provided me his email address so I could ask questions between appointments. The surgery was done with local anesthetic in his personal surgery room at the office, I had very little pain, and I was able to drive myself to and from the day of surgery without needing someone else to drive me. Surgery performed: Early Dec 2023 Surgery: upper/lower blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), face and neck lift After seeing the incredible job Dr Bresnick did on the faces of a couple of my 60 plus year old friends I knew at 65 I was going to finally do something about my aging face, neck and eyes! From the first phone call I knew I found my Dr! It sounds cliche to say they made you feel like family, but it's true! From the girls in the front office, Sara the surgery coordinator, the incredible operating room nurses and to the honest, professional and incredibly talented Dr. Bresnick, I knew this was the place I wanted to have my surgery! Excitedly, I scheduled my surgery for the beginning of Dec . Unfortunately, I received a melanoma diagnosis from my Derm and sadly called Sara to cancel my surgery (this was Friday afternoon) I knew that my Derm takes at least a month to schedule surgery and another 3 weeks to see if they got it all out I would need to make it my priority! Sara spoke to Dr Bresnick, who immediately called me and was so comforting explaining that he takes out melanomas often and that he'll do it on Monday after his full day of surgeries if I wanted! He said he would be able to get my results back within a FEW DAYS so that I could have peace of mind! ( believe me Dr Bresnick is amazingly kind, he has such a busy schedule but was going to help me because he really cares! ) Filling my facial surgery spot is not an issue with this office, he has a waiting list of people who he could put in my place! I rarely write reviews, however I think it's important to do so when it's so well deserved. My first experience with Dr. Bresnick was my breast augmentation in 2005. I immediately felt comfortable with his warm, calm demeanor. He took the time to explain my options and answer all my questions. I never felt rushed. I learned of his skill when after the surgery, he explained to me that my scoliosis (curvature of the spine) presented a unique challenge to creating balance on both sides of my body since my chest cavity was not balanced. However, everything looked perfectly balanced on the outside. I was, and still am, very satisfied with the results. At the time of the surgery I was informed that implants typically last 10 years and will need to be replaced. Well, it's been 19 years and I've had no issues. Dr. Bresnick said no need to replace them if everything is fine. A couple years after my surgery I was bitten in the face by a dog. The bite was under my eye and on my lip. I told my husband to call Dr. Bresnick and see if he could meet us at the ER because I didn't want an ER doctor to stitch up my face. Dr. Bresnick opened his office (after hours) and took care of me. To this day, there are no visible marks from the stitches. He is truly a skilled surgeon and an incredible human being. I am so grateful for his generosity to do this for me. Fast forward to this past July, 2024... I decided to get a facelift. I'm not sure I would have done so if I didn't already know Dr. Bresnick. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have run around looking for another doctor. However, since I know what a proficient, experienced, talented, trustworthy, honest doctor that Dr. Bresnick is, it was an easy decision. From the first appointment to the last, I was treated with care, kindness, consideration and professionalism. The healing process was relatively quick and my results are amazing. So here's my true story that happened to me this week which prompted me to write this review.... I was in the grocery store and asked for the "Tuesday Discount". The cashier said, "You mean the SENIOR discount?" I said, yes I'm 65. The woman in line behind me said, "You should ask for her ID". The cashier just stood there waiting. I said, "Do you SERIOUSLY want to see my ID?" She just shrugged, and waited. (I couldn't believe it). So, I took out my driver's license and showed it to her. I am almost 2 months post op from my amazing breast augmentation!!!! Ladies, I know how overwhelming picking a Dr is because it was for me. So many choices and how do I even know if these reviews are real? Truthfully, when it comes to the internet, including reviews, you really dont know, right? However, I saw all the positive reviews for Dr Bresnick and I decided to take a chance. I have wanted to do this surgery since I was a little girl and my only regret is that I didn't do it sooner. Im 5'4" and about 145 pounds. My breasts measured about a 34B but truthfully, I have never worn anything but a 34A because I just didn't fill out a B cup. Victorias Secret Bombshell bras that add 2 cup sizes are all I have worn for decades, size 34A. So, I knew I wanted the surgery, but oh God, now what type and size... again so many choices. Dr Bresnick and his staff have all these options but they made it so easy to find what I wanted. I picked silicone, because I like the way they feel, and I went with a 450cc "high profile Mentor" silicone implant. This implant adds little of that sexy side boob volume and OH MY GOD I LOVE IT. I originally thought I would want a smaller implant but they have these cool overlay sizers so you can actually see what the size you pick will look like. Without that I would have gone too small. Thank God they were able to actually show me what each size would look like. Dr Bresnick is obviously in high demand as you'll see if you visit his office, but regardless, I was treated like I was special and he took his time with me. I really appreciate the care and attention I was given at each visit and at each step of the way. All the ladies in his office are also very attentive and kind. It's very challenging as a female nowadays and as I get older I just dont have the confidence I once had. It doesn't help that everywhere you look there's so many beautiful women who have had every inch of their bodies modified and they spend all this time posting these perfectly filtered pictures. I mean how does a regular gal compete with that? And I dont want to, I just want to be me, but I want to feel good about me. This surgery has given me a new confidence that Im so grateful for. I was hesitant about the $200 consultation fee, because what if I change my mind??? But ladies I hope you do what I did! Pay it, book it, lock it in, because then you're committed to moving forward. It goes toward the surgery cost anyways. Once I did that I was all in. It was one of the best decisions Ive made. Im just a regular gal and I was treated like I was someone important and special every step of the way. Dr B is great... and MY BOOBS LOOK AND FEEL AMAZING!!!!! If you're thinking about a boob job, Dr B is the right choice. Dont worry about finding the Dr, Ive found him for you. Sooooooo many women are soooooo happy with Dr B and his work. Finding a cosmetic surgeon is like finding your wedding dress. You save up for years, you spend countless hours browsing, comparing and researching, and have sometimes up to 5-10+ consultation visits. Luckily for me, I only had to meet with Dr. Bresnick. You know when you just know? That's how it happened for me. I left that first consultation visit and thought, Welp! That's it. He's the one! I had put in the work, knew what I wanted and was so impressed by his craft that there was no going back. My procedure was one that I had been thinking about since I was a teenager. His work spoke for itself, he does the most beautiful and natural looking breast augmentations. I was so worried at the idea of my breasts looking so big and fake that they would sit like two balls on my chest. He assured me that even if that is what I wanted, he would not do the job. So if you want to look like Dolly Parton, look elsewhere. He was so patient and empathetic during every visit. He was calm and very honest while carefully listening to my expectations and fears. He explained the anatomy of the procedure (which not even after 10 years of on and off research did I ever learn) after taking a look at the photos I brought in that I liked. I was showing him I wanted this, (round tear drop natural looking breasts) but saying I wanted to be this (a small C) Apparently every photo I showed him was a D or DD. T*ts look different clothed and bare so give me a break here... lol - I was so afraid to have size D breasts, simply because that's not what I wanted. We probably spent an hour talking and then another who knows how long, during my next visit. He asked me to trust him as he knew what to do after really listening so many times and boyyyy was he right. I could not have had a better experience and end result. They are everything I wanted and hoped for, my expectations were truly surpassed. It's been 3 years and if you only knew the amount of compliments I have received since then (of those who know) Most of my family doesn't even know I have them done. That's how natural they look!! (I also wore hella padded bras before) I have a full C and they are so natural looking (and natural feeling honestly) that I can easily hide them or expose them as desired.... I can't express my gratitude and appreciation to the incredible team of women: Alina, Debby, Holly, Gladys, and Maria who helped me, cheered me on and took care of me during my visits, and during pre and post opp. I ended a 3 year relationship the night before my 8am surgery (don't worry it wasn't due to my BA Decision lol) and they consoled me and made sure I was okay for hours as I literally arrived still bawling my eyes out.
