I'm easily the biggest chicken when it comes to anything needle related, so you can imagine that going in for fillers was no easy feat for me. Dr. Chang and his staff were able to insert humor into the situation, exhibiting nothing but friendliness and a comforting bedside manner. Highly recommend him if you're considering fillers, particularly if you're a first timer and a little (or a lot) on the scared side like me. A+ for sure! Worth mentioning a second doctor whose first name was Kelly, though I did not get her last name. She was incredibly kind and comforting as well, popping in at the end of my procedure with an ice pack and some reassurance that I wasn't the only needle-averse patient (read: big baby) to walk through their doors. Thank you, Dr. Chang and team!

Review sent to the office manager…read more "After today's visit I was obligated to submit my review to you, Yelp, Google Reviews, ZocDoc and Better Business Bureau. Below are some highlights from my experience: - Initial appointment w/ Dr. Brown: Overall it was an ok appointment. I had to ask how much the treatment he had planned was going to be (this was my first time getting botox and filler). No before and after photos were taken (I requested for ones be taken of my nose so I could see the difference). Majority if not all practices take before and after pictures to show the patient what was done and to show the results (patient satisfaction). Additionally, I never signed a treatment plan- that is unheard of. I consider this a liability for your practice! o No f/u appointment was scheduled. I currently work in a hospital and have worked in a clinical office AND have friends who work in plastics and they were all surprised when a 2 week f/u appointment was not offered or scheduled. These appointments are scheduled to f/u with the patient and see how they feel about the results and if needed do "touch-ups" as a courtesy. o I had to request to schedule my next botox appointment (end of October) the reception did not even ask me or suggest it. This would have been a perfect opportunity for her to promote the $50 credit if I booked my future appointment today. Thank goodness I asked. - Second appointment with Jennifer: She is awesome! I purchased a new skin care regime with her guidance! 5 stars for her! - Third appointment (today): When I called to make this appointment (mind you this was the earliest date available) I had a conversation with the receptionist stating that I was looking for a touch-up since I was not satisfied and expected better results. I made it clear that a touch-up would be considered as courtesy visit- she agreed and said it our practice offers courtesy touch-up appointments. o During my visit, I had a conversation w/ Dr. Brown about my concerns and that I was expecting better results. He did not mention how many more units he was going to do or how many filler syringes he intended to use. I figured he would do this out of courtesy. Time to check out I was asked to pay ~$1,260.00 I was surprised and told the receptionist I thought this was a courtesy visit. She stated initial appointment as in July and the touch up timeframe had passed. I told her it is because this was his soonest appointment. She stated she spoke with you to see if you could do anything regarding my situation. Below are the requests I stated: I thought this appointment was considered a touch-up appointment. Despite no discounts being offer, I requested for the filler syringe to be discounted to $850 instead of $900 since this was technically my third syringe. Request denied by the manager. Despite not knowing how many units of botox were used, no discount was offered. Overall, horrible experience with the office. No photos nor treatment plan was provided. No discounts on the third appointment were offered. Most offices, due to the miscommunication, would provide me a discount or charge me at cost prices- neither was offered or granted. Please go ahead and cancel my future appointment, because I have no intentions on returning to this office nor do I plan on referring any friends or family here."

After…read moredoing a good amount of research, I decided to move forward with scheduling an appointment at The Naderi Center in Chevy Chase MD, with Dr. Kulak. I had fillers injected into my tear troughs in 2019 and I was very pleased with the results. I returned to the Naderi Center in March 2023 to refresh my eyes before my birthday. Needless to say, I am once again very pleased with Dr. Kulak. She was able to quickly assess and determine what was needed to give my tear troughs a nice refresher. I especially appreciate that Dr. Kulak simply gives me what I need, and doesn't place too much volume in my troughs. As an aside, I know a few people who have (at least in my opinion), too much volume from their fillers and it doesn't look natural. Since I like the natural look that Dr. Kulak provides, I will be returning, when the filler dissolves and I need another refresher. The actual procedure took a very short time, but the great results were immediate. I have always been told that i look very good for my age, but the injections took at least 5 years off and makes me look as though I get plenty of sleep each night (which I don't). As an added bonus, I did not have any real bruising from the injections. If you are thinking about getting fillers in your tear troughs, I definitely recommend Dr. Kulak. It may seem like a simple procedure, but whenever one gets fillers or undergoes any medical procedure, it's always best to go to a very skilled physician, who can give you the results that you want. Overall, it was a great experience. Regarding the office staff... The main office staff is very professional and polite, but if I could offer any advice, I would tell the assistant (who numbed my tear troughs), not to harp on the pricing with patients. I'm not sure if that is an office policy and part of her job, but I received the information ahead of time, from the office, via text (which included the latest pricing for services/procedures). The assistant who numbed my tear troughs mentioned that the price went up and it wasn't the same price that I paid in 2019. I was aware that the price went up and didn't care. It was a non issue for me, but I did not appreciate her belaboring the point, especially since I had not asked her any questions about the pricing.

Luckily I have had 4 cousins who have gone through reconstruction (with different doctors) and each of their doctors said 4-6 weeks and then they could lift their children, babies, costco groceries, etc. No one ever said 3 months, she is just afraid of being sued. I am not an irrational person. I have a disability which makes exercise impossible and am on a medication which makes me gain weight without eating. Apparently Dr. Singh is tired of seeing me undressed or something. I also was wrapped so poorly after the third round of corrective lipo that I was forced to buy medical wraps online.
