Things are just in such disrepair that he needs to call for assistance. The remote on his bed doesn't work. The toilet seat slides off the bowl... then there are the two screaming men across the hall. It's terrifying for anyone to listen to that. I just want them to fix their things, and answer The call buttons. I know patients abuse it, but in this case he got hurt because of the neglect.

They constantly ignore the call button and blatantly ignore the residents. They're on their phones constantly and have such an attitude! It was so heartbreaking when I overheard one of the nurses tell a plus sized patient that she is disgusting because of her size. On top of that she refused to help her get dressed because she could "do it herself". She had then apologized but only because I had informed one of the managers. It's sad to see almost all the residents being treated like they're animals. Tell me, would you feel comfortable seeing so many residents being yelled at and talked about as if they're not in the room? As if they aren't a human being? They place has now changed ceos or top managers I'm not sure, and I can tell they want the place to change for the better but like I have stated before, the nurses there do not care about the residents. I tried my best to help residents in any way I could even though it wasn't my job. Most of the residents would not receive their correct food which was such a big issue because of food allergies and difficulties with solid food. There has been many times where patients wouldn't get their food at all! And the nurses would refuse to get them what they asked or get their correct food. There needs to be more activities for residents who cannot attend in person groups! It's sad when I would walk by rooms and patients would be staring out the window because they were tired of watching tv all day. I can tell the activity department only liked the residents who were able to attend the group in person. There is so many residents who would complain to me about not being included! Lastly, I advise if you do send your loved ones here to keep in contact with them to find out what goes on. There has been so many times where staff just like to do whatever they want when visitors aren't around.

There are not enough stars to rate the quality of the care I received, the cleanliness of the facility, the kindness of the staff and the dedication of the physical and occupational therapists. Food quality and variety of food offered was excellent with always the ability to make changes when something did not suit my palate. Residents (patients) are given an opportunity for daily participation in group exercises including strength training, games and informative Daily Bulletin which encourages socializing to aid the healing process. Additionally management has a monthly meeting with patients (residents) and is willing to hear concerns and suggestions. Is the facility perfect? no. Could they use more staff? yes Additional staff would decrease the time responding to patient (resident) call button requests. Call button system needs to be updated. Every day I was met with dedicated, professional nurses, aides, and support staff. I want to thank each and every one of them for helping to make a "broken" person " whole" again. I hope to never fall again, but if I do, a flight to Renton, Washington and Cedar River Healthcare Center would be my request. Thank you.

It was easy to enroll and I was seen immediately, the same happened a year later when I came back for treatment. They have several treatment options and also do pain management. There are groups daily and there's also the Neighborhood Clinic down the road. They do everything to make failure not be an option. These people don't give up on you!!! There's a Peer Navigator who I absolutely adore. (She only wears Chucks and Docs) Out of everyone here, she is the ONLY person who's asked me what name I like to go by. That meant the world!! thanks J!! This place is different and it works!! They also have a system where you get paid to do tasks and come to meet with your counselor. I've made $230 since September. This isn't the 12 Step program you're tired of. This actually works. I was afraid of getting clean due to the withdrawal symptoms... That's NOT an issue here!! My counselor AF is amazing. My husband was a recent patient at Rainier Rehab for a hip fracture…read more We had problems from the beginning getting the staff to move him safely, feed him a diabetic diet, administer his medications and weigh him at the proper time. Most of the staff were very accommodating. However, because the doctor and nurse practitioner were unwilling to adjust his medication when he needed it, my husband has been hospitalized for a week. He developed huge water blisters and sores on his legs as a result of their negligence. At one time, he was left on the toilet for so long and the nurse did not respond to the call light, so he had to get up himself. There was constant urine on the bathroom floor because the equipment was old and inadequate. Many times there was noone in the halls or at the nurses station through the day. Wait times for a response to a call button many times exceeded an hour. It is only pure luck that he did not fall again undertheir poor care. The facility is old and outdated. The phone didn't work properly due to being old and dropped so many times. I had to bring in many things from home because they provided a bed and old nightstand period. We chose this place because we were told it was a 5 star facility with a doctor and nurse practitioner 7days a week. There was no doctor or nurse practitioner on site on the weekends. Be very careful if you place a loved one here. The staff is friendly and seem caring, but when you need real medical help, the doctor and nurse practitioner make the decisions. In my husband's case, their negligence caused him a week in the hospital.

Masks are no longer mandatory so that's helpful for the kiddos now when they're playing inside. So thankful we were able to find a therapy place that wasn't too far from their home.

My son would begin meltdowns right when we walked in - we were eventually switched to a different time and therapist, it didnt help any. The owner & new therapist seen my son once a week, he wasnt allowed anywhere but one small room. The owner led the sessions. My son has HIGH sensory needs, autistic and nonverbal. the owner specifically constantly took activities away that he enjoyed to regulate himself with and forced puzzles & other things (why we dont know). Once we started bringing him here he started having major aggression issues at home and at school. she ( the owner) would restrain him with cushions and tell the therapist it was okay "because thats not really restraining him with the cushion in between" when hes screaming and fighting to be let go. at our last appointment she (the owner) did the restraining again, & then I physically watched her grab him, set him on her lap to force him to do a puzzle and when my son looked away i watched her actually stop herself from grabbing his head and physically turning it for him back to where she wanted him to look. To the point i said "dont even think about it". My son actually came home with marks from his last appointment there and that's why i never took him back. The 2 therapist that he seen before the owner got involved were actually really helpful and they really did try but you could tell that they were uncomfortable and out of their wheelhouse With high sensory need children. Since we have stopped taking him there his aggression issues have completely went away and he stopped having issues at school. I would not recommend this place to anybody. If I could give it 0 stars I would. Also they charged me $50 for canceling an appointment because my son did not sleep at all that night And had slept most of the day and they told me that we should just reschedule For a different time that day because the therapist could handle it. They don't have the kids best interest at heart and that's obvious.

I recommended every parent to come here even if they have a slight doubt of coming. I didn't think my son needs speech therapy at first but his preschool teacher recommended it, since she was able to spot out that when he pronounce certain vowels it's off a bit. My family was saying it's a common thing with young kids; I replied that it be common but it doesn't have to be the "norm". In my culture, therapy is seen as a negative and for your child to see someone for that it's not normal. I think it's absolutely normal and why not give it a shot then determine if it's the right then for your child. Every child that comes here is super excited for their session and never cries while leaving their parents for the 30-45 mins
