I tried other studios in the past, but ultimately felt a sense of family and belonging here. The instructors did an incredible job of challenging me while also allowing me to grow at my own pace which is not always the case at every studio. The Worthington's are truly like family to me, and I have made friendships to last a lifetime. Now as an instructor, I feel incredibly grateful to have had these experiences as I get to teach other kids during such formative years of their life. In addition on the day of the encounter, the owner was busy at the studio all day with auditions. The studio should not be held accountable for an alleged interaction with the studio's customers. That review has nothing to do with the studio or the owner. In addition, as a fellow fat dance mom I can confirm that every one of those women has been welcoming to me and my daughter. I have never felt a speck of judgment for my weight or body. These women and their daughters have always been kind and respectful. My daughter left her studio of 6 years in her junior year just for the opportunity to train with the staff at Elevate. We were extremely nervous about making such a significant decision so far into her dance training but to say that we are thrilled with the results is an understatement! Not only is the staff at Elevate top-notch but the dancers welcomed my daughter and made her feel like she had always been a part of their company. I highly recommend this studio!

It's the…read morepractical way of pursuing one's Dancing With The Stars dream, only in a much slower pace just short of a Dance Dance Revolution. From the fox trot to the tango, they've got it all. Classes are going to range from $35-50 per month / 5 weeks, which I think is a fairly good deal considering all of the dance instruction. Most people who I've encountered here seem very happy with the whole set up. Facilities are top notch as there is plenty of room to dance and rest along the sidelines. Though class enrollment fills up quickly, the actual onsite classes have just enough people to make sure everyone gets some bit of individual attention. The instructors here are super friendly and specialize in all sorts of different dance styles. Not everyone is born with twinkle toes, but they seem to do a great job in being patient and helping people get to where they want to be. Fear not solo visitors, they're also very good at pairing people with the right skill level. For those interested in taking their dancing to another level, this is a place to also train for competition. I've seen some photos of locals who are now professionals after taking their first dance steps here as a beginner. Whether you're a notice or a professional, this is an excellent place to learn. And if that's not enough, this is an excellent alternative to the gym for people looking to get fit.

Students will also be recognized as having the finest training available anywhere and parents can be proud and grateful that they are receiving a training that is not only technically excellent but also anatomically caring and correct so as to not damage their young bodies in any way. Sadly, many students are not cared for to this degree and incorrect training can ruin dreams and chances for a future career when individual bodies and range of motion are not taken into account. We were informed we could try out the classes once before deciding if we would be joining the studio. My friend was the one who brought my daughter to the first class which she got the times mixed up and my daughter and her friend ended up in the level three ballet class on Tuesday at 5:00 pm. In class my daughter was concerned about another student, and decided to ask the teacher about the other student who was sitting out at the time. The teacher in an unprofessional and snappy manner instructed my daughter to mind her own business. This is a Grown adult talking to a child, and very unprofessional. We let it slide thinking everyone has a bad day, and decided we would try again ,we ended up coming back this week for the level 2 ballet at 4. From what I was told, is the Teacher who does the level 3 class also runs the level 2 class. From what the front desk told me, was my child was disruptive in the classroom, and the teacher was having trouble keeping her on track, instead of excusing my daughter from the classroom , saying this level was not for her , the teacher proceeded to ask my child with disabilities how old she was in front of the other students and when she answered 10, the teacher asked other students to participate in raising their hand if they were also 10 , and when the class did she publicly bullied and embarrassed my daughter by telling her she should act more like them. My child and her friend exited out into the bathroom and my child cried and wanted to leave ,They left the studio shortly after. This is grown adult, talking to and teaching children, including ones with disabilities .The teacher should have professionally excused Ashley from the classroom, It is unacceptable for a teacher to behave in a unprofessional manner towards anyone let alone children. I emailed the director , and never received anything back , it's been over a week. So if you would like your children with or without disability be bullied by a teacher and humiliated , while being ignored by the director herself , this is the place for you and your child.
