Be careful, Rami and the company like to lie and gaslight, making it seem like the client is the problem instead of taking ownership. They closed out our claim, we had to pay unexpectedly $13k out of pocket, sent them the photos and invoice like originally told we could do when found additional damages, and they said "sorry can't help you, it's final and closed". Would've been nice to know before spending money we didn't think we wouldn't be able to recover. Then, when it came time to get our depreciation check for the completed work, all along they said not to contact the carrier, that they do that on our behalf, we sent the paperwork, numerous phone calls, and have emails to prove our attempts with ZERO REPLIES back to most emails. Emails were sent April 5th, May 14th, May 24th, May 31st, June 1st, June 8th, June 26th, June 27th. (Phone calls were more frequent than that). All documented, so when Rami says we're just disgruntled and refusing to pay, I can document that I've been doing his employees job for MONTHS, so there's a reason I'm upset (understatement). Each contact was either ignored or "not my job contact so and so". In the end, we ended up reaching out to the carrier ourselves, which we were told we shouldn't have to do and shouldn't do, and recovered the check. The carried mailed the check 7/7/24, then, when it didn't arrive, we contacted the carrier 7/31/24 because we never got word from Stellar or anyone they had it. Carrier said Stellar had it. Called Stellar, was told they never received a check. Went back to the carrier. They said Stellar did receive it. Back to Stellar, they said "oh yes, we did actually receive it, we passed it on to the mortgage company" (never communicated this with us), and here's our invoice. Excuse me, invoice for what? The check we asked you to get us since April? It's now July 31st. The check you didn't tell us you received and we once again had to track you down? Then they told us they didn't need to endorse it because it was under a certain amount. The check finally made its way to our hands on 8/17/24. We went to cash it 8/19/24 and were told we couldn't because they needed to endorse it and didn't. So from April until the middle of August, we still do not have our money, but keep being reminded we owe them money. As a business owner the only reply that would've been appropriate is "I'm sorry we didn't properly represent you, I'm sorry you had to retrieve your own money and it took so long to receive it, and I'm sorry you still can't cash it, we're forfeiting our 10% of the check to make it right", but they're not. Instead they're writing reviews back about claims I'm not even talking about, and saying I'm refusing to pay, but please tell me, in this situation, do you think they deserve the 10% when I can prove via email all the ignored communication plus my own self retrieval of that depreciation check? That I still cannot cash? The initial check they endorsed before passing it on, why is this different, only they know, but it's a very untrustworthy company and I'd be happy to show my documented evidence of such. This is not blowing smoke, I've recorded every bit of our interaction every step of the way to provide concrete evidence of my stance. read more

I recently had a settlement case using Stellar Public Adjusting company. Yes, I had to requested for the case to be reopened from the first settlement which was barely $6,000 coming to me. Ivan went with Umpire for the second case. Which at that time, I was pleased of the process when he mentioned that $64,000 was reached as a settlement. Now I am going straight to the point, I ended up with less than $20,000 to get my roof done, along with all the other incurred water damages. I have mold and mildew. Mushrooms are growing on one side of the roof. Stellar ended up charging me 20% of the $64,000. Let me remind you I received a check of $31,000. The 20% should have been taken off that amount not $64, 000 which was already split into a little over HALF. So technically Stellar made 70% of the settlement. Now of course I am stuck with all the damages and stressed as a homeowner and also with the fact that "You signed a contract". This is a case of the LACK of HUMAN DECENCY. It is an organized crime. The case took over a year. EVERYONE ELSE BENEFITED, but me!! They used Total Care Restoration, which did not restore much of anything. I had to patch the holes in the ceilings from three rooms where they drilled to, supposedly, do air scrubbing and drying. The machines were triggering off the electricity of the whole house. On the second day, I asked them to come and remove them. Of course, they didn't, because the longer the machines are on my property, more money for them. You can't continue to treat human beings like this and NOT think it's not eventually will catch up to you. Stellar is a SCAM! RUN!! They've had our money since 7/7/24, they claimed they didn't, then they "did". Then they sent the check on, but didn't "need" to endorse it because of the amount. Go to the bank, they DO need to endorsement. Now, it'll be another few WEEKS before we ever see our money, after they get THEIRS, BUT, we had to track down the money from the insurance company ourselves. They didn't hold up their end of the contract to retrieve the money, so we did their job, but they're withholding our money until they get paid for the work we did on our own claim per the contract. Funny how that works, the contract doesn't apply to them doing their job, only for us for collection. We two months later and we still won't have our money in our account to repair our home. It's all a sick game to them, they're the worst company we've ever worked with. Have documented the numerous times they've LIED to us, yet they talk circles saying they didn't, when I have written proof. We reached out for months asking them to retrieve this money for us, when we got sick of asking, we were able to recover it with a simple phone call & email directly to the carrier. Save your % and just do it yourself or hire a reputable company. If you choose Stellar, you'll be doing the work yourself anyway and losing money in the process. Our experience with Stellar Public Adjusting Services has been incredibly disappointing. Their communication is virtually nonexistent emails go unanswered, calls are not returned, and follow-up is severely lacking. Despite having over 10 business days to review and respond, they continue to make last-minute requests that disrupt the process and create unnecessary delays for everyone involved. I've been in the construction and remediation business for over 10 years. I've seen it all - from well-managed claims to situations where coverage was unfortunately denied. But in recent years, I've encountered far too many claims involving the mishandling, negligence, and outright unprofessionalism from Stellar. And to make matters worse, these types of cases seem to be increasing. The real tragedy is how the insureds suffer. Many are left dealing with devastating losses for months on end, only to receive minimal payouts that don't even begin to cover the cost of restoring their homes. In some cases, policies are even dropped due to the prolonged and ineffective handling of the claim. Any positive reviews are bought and paid for by the company. DO NOT believe them. Rami is full of excuses, lies, and is condescending. He wants to act superior, but in reality, he doesn't know what he's doing or how to treat a client. He has gone against what we as the owners have stated for OUR claim on OUR home. We've asked now for 8+ months to settle the claim and he's refusing to settle attempting to get "more", only because he wants more, and it's not getting anywhere, has caused us financial harm because of how long it has taken, and our home sits unprotected until it's closed out. He's a joke, he misrepresents his clients, he strings you along, the entire office staff is a direct reflection of him: WORST COMMUNICATION and TONS of LIES. They're all the same. I have heavily documented all of this and kept a paper trail, yet he keeps lying and won't own his actions or do right by his clients. I have repeatedly asked for contact and an answer on a claim for over 60 days now, and they dodge the question and contact every time, only replying when he does with "we've been in business for 15 years and care about our customers". But they don't, because they don't reply or address your questions, just brag how "good" they are, when they're not, and I have text messages and emails saying he will call me back, and he never does.
