The lawyer was able to get the claim settled. Then we got our check and the owner of this company David had the audacity to refuse to endorse the check so we could send it to our mortgage company to get paid to fix our house and pay the pay his company as well. He demanded that we pay him his commissions immediately and refused to endorse the check. We had to borrow thousands of dollars to pay him because we felt very strong-armed and bullied. We had been fighting the insurance company for so long and just wanted to fix our house but he must be hard up for money because he was not going to wait for the check to be dispersed from the mortgage company to us so we could pay him then. We were told they sent in the proposal for repairing our house. But a week later we had to call them since they are not good at getting back to people. People who are paying them and work for us basically. We have had to call them since they never call us. Two weeks ago was the last time we have heard from them.
