Stellar took my claim in March 2025 after I had a water leak and black mold. My insurance company was giving me the run around on paying for repairs. Stellar came to my house once, prepared their estimate and after 16 months I was awarded $7000 for over $40,000 in repairs that I had ti pay for. Stellar would not return phone calls, emails or texts. Also, they did not read or understand my policy as everything they were fighting fir was excluded from my policy! They promise the world and leave you unanswered for months at a time, they do not fight for the best payout for insurance claims, they will settle at the first opportunity the insurance companies give and leave you underpaid. They also like to hire brick house as their contractors, they suck too, tarping that cost the same as a new shingle roof, mold tests and they wanted us to hire them for drywall repairs lol. $15,000 for a tarp. Think about that when hiring these crooks. So the claim was made in 10/15/2024 and we are still battling due to their negligencey and regard to our needs and health. And they will try to settle amounts without your consent. I am a victim of Hurricane Milton. I had MAJOR damage and had both homeowners insurance and flood insurance and got absolutely zero help from them so I hired Stellar public adjusting and they went to bat for me. While I must say 14 months later, I didn't get enough money to cover everything that needs to be done to fix my house, at least now I feel thanks to them that I can breathe again. I can now start the process of starting to fix things up and get my house livable again. I want to say thank you to Stellar and Amanda Bovo specifically for her kindness and keeping me up-to-date on the progress so I didn't freak out and thinking would never see the light at the end of the tunnel. She would always call me back promptly just to assure me that I was in good hands and not too many companies do that these days. So I still have a lot to go through in renovations, etc. but I would highly recommend Stellar as they seem like they actually care for their customers during a long drawn out process in working with these insurance companies that we pay to all our lives and then when we really need them, never want to pay out. If I ever have a claim again for insurance, I will call Stellar first. I learned a lot through this experience, all thanks to Stellar! Consumers should not have to go through this as if losing their home isn't enough stress in itself much less having to face such challenges from our insurance companies that we expect to get some help from and don't. It is mandatory that we pay them but in the end when we need them, they don't come through. My experience with Stellar Adjusters was horrible! Do yourselves a favor and find another public adjuster. Customers are not their priority, they're more focused on having you signed the contract. My adjuster disappeared after I sign the agreement, I called him and texted him multiple times with no response. They do not respect their clients, instead act as if they are doing you a favor. You will have to spend hours chasing down people just to get a status on your case, they will tell you they are short staff or the adjusters were busy. A new adjuster came to mediation unprepared and clueless to what's happening, which results in hiring an attorney for my case. I was given false information regarding to my attorney fees being covered by the insurance company which was not so. The only persons winning in this matter are the adjuster gaining 20% for doing nothing, and the attorney getting paid 30%. I am left with nothing and will eventually have to pay out of pocket after this ongoing nightmare for over two years. I wish I could give them 0 stars. This is all a scam!! 1) Customer service should be any company number one priority, I have requested numerous time to talk to Ramy the owner but it seems that he have a strange policy of not talking to his clients, I find it very rude and unacceptable. 2) Stellar told me that the vast majority of the cases they take, they reach a favorable settlement. They charge me 20% and after a whole wasted year they FAILED. The insurance company rejected them. Their next step was referring me to their lawyer for another 40%. the lawyer succeeded where they failed but I ended up giving 60%, and getting only 40% of the settlement which didn't cover my out of pocket expenses, I think that it is ridiculous and there must be a better way to receive higher compensations. Insurance companies don't take public adjusters company as serious as they take lawyers.I did a little research with some other public adjusting companies and they admitted that they fail 25%-45% of the time and end up using lawyer to finish the job. I think that the rate of success of the public adjusters is even lower. Another research I did, I found that there law firms that will handle your case for 33% like Burnetti law firm or 25% from Cohen Law group. Or Landau Law group that charge only 15% if there is no litigation as my case was. and non of them use public adjusters Bottom line avoid Public adjuster and shop for a lawyer and save lots of time and money. read more

Stellar Public Adjusting is the worst experience we could have had hiring an adjusting company! From the beginning, Mrs. Angela Bonifacia Pulliza did not do the job as she should. The papers were submitted to the insurance incorrectly. The communication in the Stellar company is terrible. They sent me to a lawyer who did nothing. I had to find another lawyer who could accomplish something for us. In the end what I achieved was an increase in the mortgage and a further increase in my expenses. What I got from the claim didn't even cover half off the damage. I would never recommend this company of adjusters. It's been 3 years since the incident and nothing had been resolved. I still dealing with them trying to collect the money. They do not give adequate information to continue with the processes. Stellar Public Adjusting has turned my family home upside down, making the situation worse. Filed an insurance claim for a water leak and damage. A representative came out from their office. Following day construction crew came tore down all the walls, ripped out bathrooms, ripped up all downstairs flooring, removed ceilings, leaving no central air. A mold issue was exposed behind walls & other places. Crew did a basic clean-up. Mold specialists were to take over the rest. It never happened. Public Stellar only got us $8,000.00 on a $350,000+ repair and restore. Leaving our home with mold, no walls and floors. $10,000 paid out to us minus their 20% by our insurance company wasn't enough to fix the busted pipe or restore our home. Our policy was for $350,000+, $10,000 for water repairs.  Insurance Co. issued $10,000 to repair pipe. Not understanding why the $350,000+ did not cover the dwelling repairs or contents when money was in the policy for dwellings. The adjuster should have verified coverage, and the plumbing crew sent to detect and stabilize the leak with as less demolition as possible until the insurance policy amount to cover the pipe repair was verified and then proceeded Our claim processor was Yandi Augustine. Horrible customer service. Would not return calls, unknowledagble and not clear on claim issues. Rami Boaziz, who was supposed to be our adjuster, did not respond to several emails, calls after someone in my home was hurt on the stairs due to unfinished work. Never met him or spoke to him to know who he was as our adjuster. If you are reading the reviews to help you make a decision to use this company, read all of them. Others have been put in the same situation. Home not complete. We were told it is our responsibility to come out of pocket to fix our home. Very unprofessional company. Our original "adjuster" told us after a month of leaving messages that he had too many cases & didn't know where ours was he would call back...never did! This happened again. Finally after months we were told he was no longer with the company & we should have been notified of our new adjuster...SHOCKER we NEVER were. The lady even said sorry & we had a new adjuster within tquicker. The loss prevent specialist put the value of the house down as total of damages making the insurance company think we were trying to commit fraud which added even more issues. Now almost 2 yrs later the damages obtain from the hurricane almost 2 yrs ago got worse, floor tiles exploded, my dad fell because of it and had bruised ribs at the age of 81. Last week I was transferred to Minerva whom tried to say I couldn't speak on behalf of my parents & it was a courtesy that she took my call. I had to stop her and tell her to look through the paperwork because my parents signed that I could speak on there behave. These people have no idea. Stellar is less than stellar! Now even knowing they dropped the ball they still want full 10%. What a joke! I have notified BBB, my contractor whom also tried to help them speed up the process & was here when their loss specialist came out has also contacted BBB whom Now have started an investigation and asked after seeing all my documents if we were willing to go public & we have both said yes! Do ur self a favor and just go straight to an attorney! The attorney will get u resolved way quicker. My lawyer is still waiting on a return call from them after Minerva lied saying my lawyer sent them a letter stating we didn't pay which NEVER happened. Now he is waiting on a call back and stellar is saying we are trying to do a shake down whe. I have proof they kept dropping the ball & they refuse to even look at it. Dan Young won't call ANY ONE back and neither will Romnie. Horrible company. My claim was closed in 2022. Only got $8,000.00 to fix a leaking pipe which was not even enough to cover the damages of Stellar having my entire downstairs ripped up and left with no way to restore everything. They were not knowledgeable about the policy and ripped everything up before finding out what the policy was. We still have not recovered our home. It's worse off. We are getting lawsuits from companies they hired and did not pay. Horrible experience. This company should be shut down. read more

HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!!! HORRIBLE!!! Stellar Public Adjusting partnered up with a joke of a law firm, Shaked Law Firm, who changed my attorney five times. Nobody ever knew what was going on with my case. When I complained to Stellar, they said "Yeah, we know, that's why we don't use them anymore for our new clients." It took them three years to get a settlement with the insurance company. After the law firm's 44% (yes 44%) was deducted, and Stellar's 20%, I came home with a whopping 36% for my new roof. (Ironically, the papers submitted to the insurance company for the claim mentioned everything, including the kitchen sink, except the roof). Stellar? Try Hell-ar. read more

I hired Stellar to handle my claim. I knew I did not have the time to be following up with the insurance company and fulfilling all of the insurance company's requirement. I figured that the adjusters fees would be well worth the time I would save. Little did I know that I would have to spend hours of my time following up with them to ensure that they were on the timeline. Many times calls and emails would go unanswered. A couple of times, my insurance company reached out to me to advise that they were unable to reach Stellar. After over a year of back and forth with the insurance company and Stellar, I ended up hiring an attorney to settle my case. I finally settled and I receive my check from the insurance company, but I am still unable to repair our home because Stellar has not endorsed my check. My problem is the lack of a proactive approach, which I would expect from a company in their line of business. read more

Andrea was the adjuster I had and she promise the world but did not handled the claim properly so my insurance company denied the claim.
