just nowNEW-Edit How rare I thought that it would be, to actually have a team that cares about me and my family, until being recommended to the MAS team! This team was contacted after water damage was found in our kitchen. Cynthia and Chris were transparent in the process and were there to hold our hand every step of the way. Admittingly, patience is key with a claim process, but everything was fair and communicated until the end. I wish no one this misfortune, but if this does ever occur to anyone that I do know, I would not hesitate to recommend Miami Appraisal Services, LLC. read more

Stellar service from beginning to end. Chris was incredibly patient and took his time to make sure we understood every step of the process. Cynthia was so kind and supported us the whole way. We are very grateful to have had them on our team. read more

Chris and Cynthia are established veterans in the appraisal profession. This company is serious, pleasant with which to work and justly enjoys an enviable reputation for prompt attention to their clients' needs while maintaining the highest ethical standards. They are also immediately distinguished by their easily referenced knowledge of the procedures and regulations with which the world of insurance damage and loss claims is riddled to the benefit of the clients who are discerning enough to use them. As an appraiser of residential contents to whom clients turn for advise when seeking help for property damage, I essentially consider them to be the primary company to whom to turn when seeking a good appraiser and insurance claim adjuster. Everyone to whom I have referred MAS is highly satisfied, impressed and grateful! It's hard to do better than MAS! read more

TL;DR: Significant water damage Insurance offered ~$1500 MAS recovered ~$80,000 on my behalf More details: This local business is top notch! Chris and Cynthia are amazing, down to earth individuals. They are super helpful, going above and beyond, and making a difficult event so much easier for me. My insurance company only offered me ~$1500 for significant water damage/mold in my kitchen underneath and behind my cabinets. The insurance company thought $1500 should cover the cost of disassembling the kitchen, replacing the drywall, and re-installing the kitchen -- lunacy! This is when I called MAS because someone told me in the state of Florida, you can hire a public adjuster to represent you on insurance claims and do so on contingency (same fixed percentage for all public adjusters in Florida). MAS took care of everything for me which was a HUGE relief because I'm a very busy white collar professional and didn't have the time or energy to fight with the insurance company. The insurance company tried everything they could to prevent payment but but Chris and Cynthia never gave up, utilizing all their knowledge, skills, and experience to get me everything I was entitled to under my insurance policy. At the end of the day, MAS managed to get me ~$80,000 (less the contingency) to cover the damage which is a far cry from the $1500 the insurance company originally offered me. Hopefully I don't have any future insurance events but if I do, MAS will be my first call. read more

I've been renting out a property and they've been so helpful in understanding what repairs could potentially be covered by our homeowners insurance. We can't say enough positive things about Miami Appraisal Services. We live upstate and had a water damage claim on our rental condo in Miami. So we contracted with Chris and Cynthia to act as our Public Adjustor. Chris was extremely thorough and worked up a detailed claim for our insurance company. For unknown reasons they, unfortunately, denied the claim. But despite this, Chris and Cynthia hung in there every step of the way. They stayed in continuous contact with us and filed multiple complaints with the state regarding our unresponsive insurance company. Some 11 months later, just as we were finally about to go into mediation, the insurance company relented and we received over 95% of what we originally requested (less our deductible). We highly recommend Miami Appraisal Services and appreciate their diligence with our claim. read more

It saved a lot of headaches and was well worth the expense. read more

Miami Appraisal Services. Wow! I have read these reviews and am not amazed that everyone rates this company extremely high. That is because they are simply the "Best". I have been on a journey for the past 4 years and Chris and Cynthia have been right by my side fighting tooth and nail for me. My claim has come to its conclusion and I am pleased with the final result. This has been a "Nightmare", of a case constantly dealing with insurance and mortgage companies and lawyers and the endless paperwork. If I look in the dictionary I could not find enough positive adjectives to describe Miami Appraisal Services. So when one looks through these reviews and you read how good, caring, knowledgeable, professional, etc., etc., etc.. It's 100 percent true. I'm actually going to miss sending e-mails to Cynthia and waiting on her positive and sunny responses, LOL. So thank you Miami Appraisal Services. Thank you Chris and Cynthia. 100 star rating......... read more

I reached out to MAS after my townhome was damaged due to a storm and my insurance claim wasn't going anywhere, and I am so happy I called them because they immediately got to work and fixed my crisis. I wasted so much time and energy calling our insurance company repeatedly for weeks on end and kept getting assigned new adjusters who never got anything done until finally a friend of mine recommended this public adjuster. Thanks to them I got more money than I thought we would be able to recoup, and it was all done quickly. Highly recommend giving them a call before wasting your time with insurance companies that never want to pay out. read more

Had a back up from my master bathroom toilet. After running a camera through my cast iron drain pipes, Turns out there was a broken pipe under the slab. Chris was recommended through my neighbor that had same problem the year before. I was really impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. It was my first time doing a claim with my homeowners insurance and it went very smoothly and received enough to cover everything that was damaged plus the plumbing work. The process took a bit of time but I'm glad everything is over and I'm very happy with the results. Thanks again ! read more

Miami Appraisal Services - The Wood floors were damaged and he got them the money to be replaced - Appraisal Services Near Me - Coral Gables, Florida

My home sustained major damages in a windstorm one night, which resulted in a large number of repairs that needed to be made (fallen trees, fences, pool enclosure, roof, etc.). I made a claim with my insurance company and was told that this was a very simple and clear-cut claim. However, after about 5 months of going in circles and not getting my calls or emails returned, it was clear they were not going to make it easy to get the compensation I was due. At that point I turned to Miami Appraisal Services. Chris and Cynthia immediately came in and took the weight of the claim (and dealing with the insurance company) off of my shoulders. They were incredibly thorough through every step of the process starting from inspecting my policy and claim documentation, all the way to Chris creating a very detailed report after visiting my property and doing a proper inspection of the damages. In the end, Chris and Cynthia were able to recover a bigger payout than I ever imagined I would be able to receive. I would recommend MAS to absolutely anybody who is going through an insurance claim. read more

Claim has been completed. Thankfully we took the advice and spoke to Christopher early in the process. We didn't hire Miami Appraisal Services right away, but we did work with the restoration and cleanup company he recommended and are very thankful we did. There was very little mold growth and the dry-out was very thorough and professional and they worked directly with the insurance company. Excellent free advice so far. Spoke with the insurance company and they were somewhat insistent on using their "recommended" contractors to estimate and complete the job and wasn't crazy about the idea (I prefer to choose based on reviews, obviously). Reached back out to Chris and ended up formally hiring him. Very thankful we did. Hiring him must have saved at least dozens of hours and likely countless headaches as he took charge in communicating and ensuring the claim was properly handled. In this case working with a public adjuster ensured the job and claim were completely satisfied. If you have questions about a homeowners' policy, Christopher is incredible knowledgeable. Highly Recommended! read more

I hired MAS to represent me with my claim after Hurricane Irma. I had severe roof damage and damage to my fencing due to Hurricane Irma. My former insurance company, Citizens was a nightmare to work with directly on previous claims so I hired Chris to assist. He was a true professional and I received a fair settlement. Thank you MAS for helping me with my insurance claim! read more

I'm going to be honest and say that I absolutely loathe repair work. It's a grueling process that I'd rather leave to my fiancé. However, when you're planning a move, it's imperative to update your current condo for rent. We knew there might be a leak coming from our water heater, but like most people, we decided not to worry about it until we had to start renovating for our potential tenant. This is the worst decision we made. The BEST decision we made, though, was hiring Miami Appraisal Services to calm us down and give us a realistic estimate of our damages. After having our plumber refer us to two different mold remediation places that was going to charge us hundreds of dollars just to look at the wall behind the water heater, we called Chris (Topper) at Miami Appraisal Services and he was amazing! He walked around our condo checking for other places that could have contributed to the leak, he checked the extent of the water damage in the water closet as well as in the bedroom closet and gave us advice with how to deal with our insurance companies. Let me tell you-- I went from freaking out and saying that we couldn't rent our place to having a better understanding of our options. Having someone who is a pro in the biz but also aware of the mistakes most homeowners make with insurance companies was invaluable. To say that I would call another company in the future would be laughable. If you have damage to your house and need expert advice without getting screwed over, work with Miami Appraisal Services. I would personally recommend Topper, but everyone there is amazing. Here's a quick cheers to everyone renovating right now. Best of luck, remember to breathe, and call the right company. read more

As a practicing attorney I'm well aware that there are several issues that can arise by dealing with insurance companies alone. I recommend using a public adjuster, and I especially recommend Chris from Miami Appraisal Services. He was my public adjuster when I had a roof leak and needed help with my claim. He went up on the roof to document where there was wind damage and prepared a thorough report. Even after the my insurance company denied the claim, my public adjuster got me a check to make repairs. Highly recommend you call this public adjusting firm before you call your insurance company. read more

Had a fire at my house due to a recessed ceiling light overheating. I wanted to get a public adjuster to take the entire claim process off my hands. I found Miami Appraisal Services through Yelp and they sent out a licensed public adjuster the same day for a free inspection. They are very knowledgeable and hold your hand through the entire process. They even mailed me an information packet to help educate me on what was going on at any given moment with my claim. The public adjuster who helped out was great and settled the entire claim with my carrier in about 2 months. Most of my friends had told me the process would take at least a year so I was pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend hiring this company to represent you as a public adjuster. I would call them back if I ever had an issue again. read more

I recently had a mold problem in my closet, and figured the big insurance companies would screw me despite Paying their premiums. Fortunately I called miami appraisal services and they made this process easy and successful. I am a new home owner and recently discovered that I was getting water damage caused by Hurricane Irma and had to begin the process of filing a claim with my homeowner's insurance. I've never had to deal with something this important as I have always rented and didn't know where to start. Miami Appraisal Services was recommended to me, specifically Christopher Korge a tremendously knowledgeable and amazingly honest Licensed Public Adjuster. He truly helps you, answers all your questions, and does all the work with the insurance companies to receive the correct amount for all damages occurred to your home. Insurance companies have their own adjusters that work for them and may not get you the correct amount needed to fix your damages. This is where Chris steps in and handles everything, as he reviews the report and will even tell you whether his services will be needed or not. That's rare honesty in a business and city where it's difficult to trust anyone. Without a doubt or hesitation, I recommend Miami Appraisal Services to WORK FOR YOU and relieve all your worries about having to deal with insurance companies. read more
